I took my car in to see Eddie because I had used them before for a front end repair on my BMW.  This time I needed work done on the side fender of my Subaru which had broken off.  Eddie and his team were very happy that I was a repeat customer and treated me like an old friend.  They were very professional and quoted me a very fair price.  The repair work on my car turned out excellent and the team really went above and beyond what they had to in order to make me happy.  They were forced to repaint the piece several times and expend much more time and materials in order to get everything perfectly to my liking.  Despite my pickiness they were very willing to please and made it known that they were only going to be happy when I was happy.  Furthermore, they stuck to their original quote and didn't charge me extra money because of the difficulties that they encountered.  Columbia Auto Collision Center is a class act and I'm very happy doing business with them as a repeat customer.  They performed fantastic work for a very fair price and a quick turnaround despite being very busy.  I definitely recommend this shop.

We were insured and it was on my insurance mostly, except for my deductible so we can't if say they were expensive or not. Their responsiveness was fine.

I made an appointment on a Tuesday to get the scratches on my car fixed. I arrived for my appointment and was informed by the owner the would not be able to repair my car that day, because 3 of his employees had not shown up for work. He looked at my car and said they could repair it another day and it would look like new. He stated he would call me the next day to reschedule. Monday arrived and I still had not heard from him. I had to call them to reschedule. I arrived for my appointment again. They employee working looked at my car and said they could fix it and it would be ready by noon and I would not be able to see the scratches. They would call me when my car was ready. At 3:00pm, I still had not heard from them, so I had to call them. They stated my car was ready. I arrived after work to pick up my car and the scratches were still blatantly visible. They stated the repair it to the best of their ability. All they did was put some paint overtop the scratches. I talked to the owner and he stated it was fine and that was all they were going to do. He stated that the paint job would look better in 2 weeks....just give it time to settle. What?! I stated that the work was unacceptable. The owner stated that I could bring it back in and he would repair it but it would be more money. I told him that I would be calling the BBB and telling all my friends about his unprofessional business, and he stated he did not care and I could call whoever.
This company does terrible work, is very unprofessional and rude, and the owner is incompetent. I would never recommend this place to anyone. I looked at Yelp.com and saw several negative reviews about this company on their website as well. Beware of this company!!!

I went to Columbia Auto Collision Center based on great reviews and they lived up to the hype. I needed a front bumper with a hole in it replaced and painted to match the rest of the car, there were also new fog lights to install in the new bumper. I arrived without an appointment and had already purchased an OEM bumper myself online. The owner was very enthusiastic and helpful, and had no issue with the fact that he would not be able to order and provide the bumper. He said they could probably have it done that day or the next and that he would call me with any issues and quoted a price that was well under what I expected to pay. He called later that day and regrettably informed me that the bumper would need a new clip on the side of the damage and I authorized the purchase and installation of the new part. The car was ready very quickly the next day and I picked it up that evening. The paint job is excellently done and the price was more than reasonable, especially for the speed and friendly service.

State Farm agreed the other driver was liable. They gave me a list of Auto repair places they have agreements with and recommend. I took their list and looked up the ones in a 15 mile radius from my house on Angies List. Columbia Auto Center had an and quot;Aand quot; rating with many positive comments. So I chose them. I dealt with Siree. I have no compliants. I was able to bring my car in that day. I was offered a ride home but ended up getting a rental car. Siree got me a better car than my own. I had some trouble/confusion regarding the rental car. State Farm and Enterprise were useless. Siree went out of his way and faxed the appropriate paper work. Regarding money, I don't know if they are reasonable or expensive. I didn't shop around and didn't have to pay. I figured they must be reasonble because State Farm recommended them. They had my car for about 10 days. I wasn't in a rush because I had a sweet rental. They did an awesome job on my car. You can't tell where they replaced the rear quarter panel and where they original portion meet. I was extremely satisfied.

I had had collision repair several years before and been delighted, so when my wipers weren't working well and I was near Columbia Auto Collision, I stopped by for new blades. Eddie showed me that it wasn't the wipers, it was the way the hood wasn't aligned that was making them not work right. The reason was that there was lots of leaves and debris inside the hood pushing it up a bit. He took out the debris and showed me how it shut differently and the wipers worked. He said the debris throughout the engine compartment looked like it was more than one season's worth, and if water got it (no garage, thus the debris), it could damage the computer system. He recommended cleaning that and suggested a detailing, which he offered incredibly cheaply. I paid less for a complete detailing and engine clean than I would have for the complete detailing elsewhere, and it was a great job.

More important, I decided to try him for the regular service of the 2001 Volvo, which I had been taking to an award-winning independent repair shop. Just before I took it in (about 4000 from its last service there), I saw the brake light flicker on a couple occasions briefly. I told Eddie about that and a noise I'd noticed occasionally. What was scary was that the brake light indicated brakes that were almost worn through to the point of creating an accident or fire! The brakes on my 79,000 mile car looked original! My previous shop should have noticed this on a regular check years ago, not just at my last appointment! Eddie said the noise was a strut problem (he showed me, really visible to the untrained eye and looked impossible to create by hand) was years in the making and should have been caught. He replaced only the one strut, said the other was good enough.

Eddie's shop doesn't look luxurious on the outside, the way my last repair place did, but I'd much rather have attention to the inside of my car. He does go beyond what's expected in attention and details (free wash with that service). I'm just grateful I stopped by for the wiper blades, otherwise my car was really an accident waiting to happen.

I had broken the side view mirror on my car and needed to replace the glass. I first took the car to Safelite, who ordered a 'replacement' mirror, then when it arrived, told me they couldn't install it and I would have to go to the dealer! So I went to Columbia Auto Collision instead. Ryan, who was the main contact there, was very helpful and ordered the glass within a day. However, the replacement glass he ordered didn't fit---apparently, the online suppliers parts don't always match the car specified. He said to give him a couple of days to see if he could find the right size glass, but if not he'd get it direct from the manufacturer/dealer. He called within a couple of days and had the appropriate glass. When I stopped by that evening on the way home from work, Eddie (owner) told me the job would probably take ~1hr, since the frame around the mirror had to be taken out in order for the glass to fit right. I brought it back a couple of days later. Ryan was there, and the mechanic put the glass in in about 5 minutes, which surprised me given the conversation I had w/Eddie. Mirror was fine that day, but the next morning, it fell off (held in place by the heater element, otherwise it would have broken) when I closed the door on the car. I went back to the shop, Ryan was very apologetic and had his "glass specialist" re-set the mirror with some stronger adhesive. Took a little longer (maybe 15 min), but they still didn't take apart the mirror as Eddie had suggested they would need to. Ryan told me that if it doesn't hold, he'll refund the money. At the moment, the glass seems to be holding, but I am concerned that it may not be 'framed' properly (you can see where the inner black edge frames the mirror on one side, but not the other). I think Eddie might have had his guys do a more thorough job had he been there to supervise. Overall, they were helpful and willing to work with me to get the job done. I'm just not sure about the quality.

When I called I got prices and left the car there with them. I was not given a time frame as to when to expect the car. I called at 11:00 and asked them when the car would be ready. They said they had a power outage and said it was the whole area, but I am a block away from them and I had power. The owner was unable to tell me when the car would be ready. I hung up and they called me within 10 minutes and they told me my car was not going to pass the inspection. I asked what it needed to have done to pass the inspection and he said a windshield, bolt and a rear tail light was out. I told them to do the repairs. I called them back to see when the car would be ready and they said they were behind due to the power outage. When I went to get the car, nothing was done. They said it had been detailed and everything had been completed. They then said it did not pass the inspection and the inspector had gone home already. The owner was overcharging me for the detail, I was quoted $75-$150 over the phone so I planned on $150 at the most and he was charging me $350.00 just for the detail. When I brought this to his attention, he immediately took $200 off after telling me he did not quote me $75-$150 pricing. Nothing had been done on my car when I arrived, he hurried out and had quickly vacuumed my car right before I got there and because he was rushed, he did not put my mats back in the car and there was not a liner in the back of the SUV either, but I did not realize that until the next day. I took the car back and I had my husband with me. I asked for a refund for the inspection and the detail, they said they would do the refund but my bank had not shown any credit on my account. So, I spoke to Eddie the owner throughout this process. When I went back to get the liner and to see about the refund, I spoke to George, the manager, and he was very helpful to me. I ended up getting the inspection done and George did it in no time at all. He is the reason for any resolution with this. He was very timely and professional and he got the job done. He knows how to prioritize and multi-task and he did a great job in saving me as a customer. I would definitely not refer anyone here or come here again for service. The owner, Eddie, is unprofessional.

This car needed replacement of the entire door shell (the skin is not available) which is why it cost so much. Their price was similar to competition. They were very friendly and helpful. Work was done on time (took 4 days i think). They did make a minor goof for which i had to take the car back, but they took care of it.

Impressively thorough examination by estimator. Fair price compared with other companies. Very accommodating. The repair took four days longer than expected, perhaps because parts are scarce (Prius.)
