Horace was very professional and accommodating in the midst of a customer emergency. He provided a reasonable quote. Took time to explain the proposed work and answered all questions. The technician was courteous, professional. The time between quote and actual work completion met my expectation and need.

I found Horace and the technician to be very courteous and professional before and after the windows were installed. The cost of the 4 windows was just right for my budget. I feel that I certainly got a good deal. I have several more windows to have installed on my rental property and I won't hesitate to call PENWIN Windows & Doors to do the job.

Dependable and fast

Both the owner and the technician were professional and courteous, and prompt! The turnaround time from initial contact to completion of the repair job was more than I could have asked for, especially on such short notice. The repair job was FULLY explained to me by Horace before agreeing to the work, so I had a complete understanding of what was to be done. I look forward to working with them again.

This is the best you're going to get in the Southern MD area. I had Horace install a custom Transom Window and it came out beautifully. It's really tough to find business owners who keep their word these days, but Horace was a man of his word. It was installed when he said it would, at the price he said it would, and at the quality he said it would. His window installer is AMAZING! He even cleaned up, painted, and vacuumed. I'm planning on calling Horace again for another Transom Window and an entry door. He's the only person I'll call for windows and doors moving forward.

Horace at Pen Win Windows & Doors, LLC was extremely prompt in response to my need for repair. We worked out a very reasonable price over the phone. This was somewhat aided by my description being specific as to what was needed to be done and what/ how much material was needed. Horace was quick with an estimate and as I had sufficient knowledge of the business I know that this was a very good price. Marvin, the tech doing the job showed up right on time (actually 3 minutes early) and was prepped and setup to begin work in less than 15 minutes. He tediously did the demolition work without causing any extra damage. The aluminum trim and finishing was excellently done - no buckles bubbles or nail showing. It was so accurate that very little caulk to keep rain out was needed. Between Horace and Marvin, I would say they handled this job as if they were working on their own home. There is extra bonus given since this was such a small job. I am giving their company cards and recommending them to all my friends and family. It is hard to find companies interested in small jobs, especially putting force the effort needed to do it the right way.

The contractors were prompt. All my needs were met and more. They cleaned up well.

Mr. Horace Pennix came to my rescue, I had a chimney with missing siding, thanks to various storms. Not sure how long the siding had been off, we couldn't see what was causing water leaks in the basement. The fireplace is in the basement but we could not connect the dots. Until a neighbor informed us. I was having a problem finding a company to do partial repairs with siding. Thanks to PENWIN the job was completed in 1 day and they did an excellent job! I trust Horace's work ethics, he's concern about his customers satisfaction, as well as help you understand the work involved. GREAT JOB PENWIN!!!, you are definitely on my map ...I'll be in touch!

Very Professional and on time

I was out of town when Mr. Horace Pennix (PenWin, LLC MHIC)came to repair the siding on my house. We did all of our business over the phone. A picture was sent after the work was done. The siding looks just like it did when we purchased the house 4 years ago. This is an excellent company that I would recommend 100%.They are very professional and provide outstanding service.

I haven't actually seen the work yet but with the confidence and good will of Horace Pennix, I am sure I will find great work. It was a simple fix but the request was a little complicated. Shingles had blown off the roof and I didn't know how many or what type of damage I would fine. I talked to Horace and he had a man in the area and sent him out to check the roof. He fixed the missing shingles, tightened some staples and made recommendations. Now here is where I am giving the trust up. Horace could have said the roof was shot and you need to replace it now, but he didn't. His man gave him the facts and he gave me a very respectful assessment. I appreciate the honesty. He told me it was in fair condition and that it would need replacing and that it could last a little while longer. He said to start budgeting for it now. He supported my estimate of 2-3 years. What I just found out is that the roof is quite old and that his honesty was in line with the roof warranty. The price came in at $25 under quote (sight unseen) which was VERY reasonable. Horace is a very honest man and I respect that. If the work is as good at Horace, I will hire him again.

These guys are great!! The Owner really knows how to provide excellent customer service. I enjoyed the experience and would highly recommend them to anyone.
