Pen Win Windows and Doors, LLC

This company was very responsive and came out quickly to give me an estimate. The price that I paid was well below what other companies had offered. The company was honest in what type of material would work for the roof (they could have told me my roof needed a very expensive material, but they didn't.) They were generous with negotiation. They told me that they would include some free plywood for the roof if it was needed. Any over that amount, I would have to pay for. I found out that my roof didn't need any (thankfully). They could have easily said that they were in horrible shape and had to replace them, but they didn't. The crew came and replaced my roof in one day, which was awesome. There were a few miscommunications here and there, but that's going to happen since we're all human. One thing I will say is that make sure your gate is shut after the crew leaves. Luckily we have a dog that likes to stay close by, but it could have been a different story.

After installation I mentioned to Danielle(sp?) that wind was coming from below the door. Danielle response was that they would take care of it and that she would look at it during our 12/14/2015 appointment. Danielle didn't show up for the appointment, but Horace did (unexpected). His response to my issue was "call me when it's blowing". What? For me, that's very poor customer service and a "I don't care" type of response. Also, the siding that was removed was replaced with a different color and two new seams were introduced. The installer informed me that the color was all they had and that I could paint it. I was never informed that the vinyl siding was going to be removed, but it should have been replaced with the same color. Horace said that they would correct it, but I haven't heard anything from Pen Win since 12/14/2015. With the mishaps, I like the quality of the door installed. I await Pen Win to replace the vinyl siding. The installers were not prepared to remove the storm door. They used what they had which scratched the storm door. A few drill bits broke. One broke inside the frame which caused them to drill another hole in the storm door and frame. They attempted to fill the scratches and patch-paint the areas that were scratched. Not a smooth look anymore. After submitting my initial review, Horace Pennix sent a personal email threatening to sue me if I didn't remove my post. This is a bullying tactic. He also threatened to not do anything toward addressing my concerns unless I removed my post. His response proves that customer service is not a strong character of Pen Win Windows & Doors, LLC. To date (7/28/2016) Pen Win Windows & Doors, LLC has not made an effort to address my concerns. At this late date, I don't expect they would. Based on my experience and the bullying response and email, this is not a good company to hire. I believe they think they're doing you a favor.

Very efficient, quality work. cleaned all debris.

Initially the company representative made a commitment before checking to insure that labor and materials were available for the job which was a little frustrating. However, in the end, he came through and completed the job within one week. I was very satisfied with the outcome.

Excellent experience. The staff and crew were very oriented to satisfying the customer and the workmanship is excellent. Very quick operation and they left the job site in immaculate condition. There may be cheaper providers out there, but they can't beat PenWin on quality...did a flawless job.

We researched various businesses on HomeAdvisor, and chose Pen Win based upon information provided by Danielle Burrell about Pen Win's capabilities. The installer, Mauricio, arrived as scheduled and went above and beyond to get the exterior sliding doors configured and installed as planned. I will not hesitate to hire Pen Win Windows & Doors for future projects. Thank you for the excellent work!

Very Pleased with PenWin and the installation. I received a good product for a fair price and the installation crew was diligent, courteous, responsive, timely, and did a superior job. I only had one concern, the original estimate and contract price agreed to was an "under estimate" and as a result, the contract price was adjusted (not because of an add-on, but because the estimator, had mis-judged the project), in any case Pen Win was willing to work with me to come to a negotiated new price that met their and my needs. I absolutely would hire Pen Win again! Let me say that one more time, I would hire Pen Win again.

These two gentlemen worked extremely hard together, and were completely done with everything in 3 hours, Cleanup included.
