Contractor was efficient and completed job successfully!

Much less expensive than all previous quotes. He completed the job the same day within 2 hours. He even shoveled my front walk! (It had just snowed). This is something that has been on my to-do list for years. I’m so pleased it’s done!

I hired this company for several small jobs when I purchased a condo that needed some work. I was under the impression that when I scheduled the initial appointment that they would be coming to perform the work not just do a consultation (I sent a home inspection report with photos and descriptions to the company for a quote for the work before the appointment). He showed up for a consultation, so that set my timeline back 2 days. When he showed up to perform the work he didn't bring one of the pieces to be replaced (a bathroom fan). When it came time to pay, he told me the total cost was nearly $800 for the equipment he supplied (he provided a wax ring for my toilet and one GFCI outlet). He asked me to write my credit card number at the bottom of his bill (which I also have an issue with-all of my other contractors had a digital way for me to pay). I called Jeeves when the contractor left because I thought the total sounded really high for what he actually provided. They told me they couldn't adjust the total until they received the receipts from the handyman. I've called Jeeves every day asking for a status update (and to inquire as to the location of the bill with my CC information written on it), and they will only repeat the same phrase- that they will call me "tomorrow" when they talk to the Handyman. So far, it's been 5 business days and I've not gotten a call back regarding my bill. I'm concerned with their billing mechanism of writing credit card information at the bottom of a piece of paper that a man holds onto for DAYS without checking in with his company. I'm also concerned with their lack of concern for my credit card information-this seems to be a normal thing for them as they don't understand why I do not want my CC information floating around in a truck somewhere.

Jeeves did work that made me happy and improved my life. Fixing a door may not sound like much, but with constant in and out of myself and 4 cats, that door was important. A storm had blown off the closer, pulling it right out of the woodwork. Jeeves fixed it and adjusted the top and bottom of the door to close up big gaps. I'm very happy with both the work they did and the speed with which they did it. 5 stars.

We hired Jeeves to do two bathrooms. One was just a shower rebuild and the other was a complete bathroom remodel. We were given a price from Jose for the labor only which was supposed to include all the plumbing materials, Sheetrock, backer board, nails, screws and etc. We were responsible for purchasing the tub, toilet, tile, vanity, cabinets and fixtures. However, we were asked multiple times for an additional "$400" for added labor items that should have been included in the original quote and it was more than once it was multiple times, he asked on cash directly to him. I could not have been more disappointed in the outcome and quality of the work. Jose and his assistants (3 total at different times) had work hours better than any job I have ever seen. They would show up (rarely on time) and at times 2, 3, 4 hours late and even not at all. A week and a half job turned into nearly 3 weeks. Our upstairs hallway carpet was ruined. The stain on our front porch was scuffed, stained and scraped. This was due to the "war zone" of trash and materials left there. I was charged a fee for the removal of the debris, but was credited the amount because I had to clean it up and get it hauled away myself. The quality of the work from the tile, grout, caulking, plumbing, painting and just the basic installation items was at best mediocre. I had to install the towel rack because Jose insisted that it could not be centered without intstalling a wall stud. The handyman learned that day about drywall anchors. Also, what contractor uses a hammer to locate a stud in a wall. Jose actually put several nail holes and a hammer head hole in a freshly painted wall because of his frustration locating a stud. After the job was finished, we had to call Jose back several times (maybe as many as 6 to comeback and repair items that were either overlooked or did not work properly. Initially water flowed from the edges of our newly installed tub while showering because it wasn't installed level. We had to have a supervisor come out to look at the tub to convince Jose that the tub wasn't level. We now have a damaged area in our dining room ceiling because of an improperly installed drain in the bathtub upstairs. It wasn't until we called and insisted that they send someone else other than Jose to do the repair that we were finally able to get the leak stopped. The problem was the rubber gasket was not installed in the drain for the tub. After a year and the warranty now expired are we able to really use the bathrooms without any problems. I do have minor things that I keep finding that I have to repair myself. But I'd would much rather do it myself than call Jeeves. David did a fantastic job finishing a stalled kitchen remodeling project -- and correcting the mistakes of a previous contractor. I could not be happier with the results. He and a helper worked all day, building a pantry, painting shelves and the door, fixing the floor, and getting electrical plugs to work. THANK YOU!

I was unhappy with pole installation, It was not level

Jeeves took over 4 hours to install 8 small shelves - $400. The work was inaccurate even thought they were given detailed plans. The handyman drove through my garden as he left. I was left having to repair my wall and garden. I called them and only could get customer service reps who could not resolve these issues. I am waiting to hear from their mgt.

Jimmy arrived on time and was very knowledgeable about what the problems were. He immediately set about fixing everything.

The quote I was given over the phone was no where what I was charged! I would never recommend this company to anyone!

The workman did a good job in a timely manner. I wish he had not left behind the surplus drywall pieces which now occupy space in the garage.
