General Remodeling, Roofing
Overall, I was satisfied with the work that was done; the price and quality of materials was good, and the installers arrived when they were expected.
Communication with this company was very poor, starting with notification of the install date. We were told to expect about a five-week wait after signing the contract, so we were not concerned when we were not contacted right away. About five weeks after signing, a truck arrived unexpectedly one day with the roofing materials. I was unable to reach anyone at HIgh Point by phone, and I didn't want the materials sitting around for an unknown period of time, so I refused the delivery. When our contact returned my call, he informed me that the installation had been scheduled for the next day, and seemed surprised that no one had contacted us. A few days later, I received a call with the new installation date, and the materials were re-delivered a few days later. NOTE: the driver of the delivery truck informed me that the materials are normally placed on the roof at delivery. Unfortunately, my driveway is steep and he could not get the truck close enough to the house to place the materials on the roof, so they were stacked on my lawn, when then killed the grass where the materials had been placed.
At the time of signing the contract, I requested that an English-speaking person be on the job site at all times, as I do not speak Spanish or any other language. (with other home improvement jobs I have had non-English-speaking workers and communcation was difficult if not impossible). I was assured that this would not be a problem. When the installers arrived, none of them spoke English fluently, and communication was difficult. So when a problem arose, I called my contact at High Point who spoke with the installers by phone to resolve the issue. My contact assured me that someone was on the way to supervise the job and communicate any concerns to the installers. That person did not arrive until the job was nearing completion. Not a satisfactory experience for me.

General Remodeling, Hardwood Flooring Service
They were okay. They did a very good service and their rates were very good. They ended up not finishing the job and just disappeared at the end of the work. I would not use them again in the future.
