QUALITY LANDSCAPING

The overall job seems to have been done well. We've had no problems with the system other than the ground settling where they dug the trenches. About two weeks after the completetion of the lob a large area of the yard collapsed (near the septic tank where they tied into the existing line). The ground sank about a foot and half. I called the owner and he sent his crew out to make repairs and re-seed the area - all OK. Then about 3 months after completetion we got a lot of rain from a storm (Sandy) and two areas in the woods (at the ends of the new drinefields) collapsed. These areas are about 2 feet wide, 10 feet long and about a foot and a half deep. I called the owner and he told me he would not address the problem unless he happened to be working near my address. He told me that his current job was in another county and he didn't have any work planned near our house. Besides, he said, it's normal for the ground to settle and he doesn't normally redress these problems after month or so. At this writing I haven't heard from him and the sunken areas have not been filled. I plan to use a neighbor's tractor and fill in the holes myself.
