Description of Work: I wanted to express our delight in the service received by MCL Floor Sanding Service, Inc. I had just signed on with Angies List. I’ve been wanting to sand and refinish our wooden floors in our 100 year old home for over 5 years. We kept waiting, because the amount of work and price was more than we could handle. After signing on with Angie’s List I thought “let me try this out” and so I looked up flooring services and MCL had numerous reviews, all quite good. I called Brenda, the owner, and she came to our home, very pleasant and knowledgeable, looked over all the floors and their condition….(absolutely awful)… promised she would send me a quote within 3 days. Sure enough, I received the quote in two days via email. I was pleasantly shocked by the price. It was considerably less than the other quotes received and it covered everything we needed to have done. We signed off and set a date. On the first day of work, (3) of her crew with Brenda came in right on time and introduced themselves. They began immediately and what so impressed my husband and I, was how efficient, clean and quiet they were. At the end of each days work they left it so very orderly, it really was impressive. We have had a number of contractors in our home over the years doing variety of work. But MCL’s crew was by far the most thoughtful in realizing they are working in someone else’s home. After 5 days of work, we had all our wooden floors looking like they were just installed. These floors were in very critical condition and I really had my doubts about being able to get some of the stains out. But…. they did!!! The entire first floor, the steps to second floor the hallway….every inch was spectacular and we couldn’t have been more ecstatic. Brenda and her team did an outstanding job and I wanted to share this with all. I highly, highly recommend them. They are licensed, insured, pleasant, well mannered, considerate, competent, and trustworthy…..qualities that are not as common today….. MCL…. THANK YOU!!!!!
