Description of Work: LTP repaired a sewer pipe from my home that was broken and root infested, blocking flow. They were responsive in assessing the problem, providing a quote and subsequently performing the work. I believe the repair was done correctly, although I can only assume that since I've had no problems since. I thought their price was high, but I was not in a position to shop around. It took 2 men only about 6 hours to repair the pipe,using a small excavator(about $4800). I had one major problem with them in that the workmen did not level the ground after they backfilled. They said the very large mound would settle with time. I waited a year to give it a chance to settle;it never did. After I called and complained, they said someone would show up unannounced within 4-6 weeks to regrade. Sure enough,2 workmen did arrive with an excavator and roughly leveled the mound. It is still not the way it should be but at least it doesn't look like I buried someone in my front yard. I do give them credit for responding to my complaint.

Description of Work: tHEY REPAIRED A BAD LEAK AND INSTALLED A THIRD EXTERIOR FAUCET AND REPLACED A SECOND HOSE BIB AND AN INTERIOR TOILET.

Description of Work: The person that came to my home was right on time, and completely professional. We had a gas leak in the furnace which had to be repaired. He gave us two estimates for the job and I chose the one I felt comfortable with. He worked diligently and explained each step of the process. Before he left he checked the entire gas line and found another gas leak which was BGE's responsibility to repair. He had me contact BGE's emergency line, and then waited until the BGE repair person arrived. The two worked together to repair the leak and make sure the gas line was safe. I could not have asked for a more professional person to work in my home. (Date of Service is approximate)

Description of Work: My water heater was leaking. The plumber came on a Sunday. The service man seemed a bit grumpy and his assistant was of little value. The water heater was replaced and the price was high. I have never seen a water heater with an additional tank on top of it. The repairman said that is the way they are now. | |After a while, I noticed a leak on my kitchen floor again. I called Len the Plumber and they sent a different plumber out. He was so nice and pleasant The difference was like day and night. He was very eager to help. He moved the washer that was in front of the water heater and said that the heater was NOT leaking, but there was still a leak. | |The original plumber did not put the plastic pipe properly in the drain pipe and that caused the second leak. | |

Description of Work: Replaced water pump. It went well and the tech was prompt and professional. This was an emergency and Len The Plumber reacted to my call as a severe emergency and sent someone within an hour or so.

Description of Work: My very old pipes froze and burst. I got several quotes from different plumbers and contractors. Len the Plumber provided the best quote, both financially and functionally. They did a truly great job in a timely manner with complete professionalism.

Description of Work: They replaced my well. They forgot to bypass the water treatment before changing the well. All my water turned brown from silt and iron so I couldn't use the water as it would stain everything. They wanted payment right away for the new well even though I was technically without potable water saying we will get back to you tomorrow to talk about the water treatment problem. (Which they caused) |The next day they tried to convince me it was the wrong water treatment system and they would replace it with the right system for $8500. |I said no way, this system was only 2 years old, and I had no problem until they forgot to turn on the bypass, and I had a 10 year guarantee. While the were here the first day The plumber kept trying to tell the manager all it needed was to be flushed but the manager glared at him and said its the wrong system. I knew something wasn't right. |I had the company who installed the water treatment system come in and they flushed the system and I have had no problems since. |Len the Plumber was not telling me the truth and was trying to sell me something I clearly didn't need. I would never trust them.

Description of Work: There was a leak in the basement. The plumber investigated, found the problem and fixed it. Sounds easy but we also had water problems due to leakage from the foundation. The plumber persevered, finding a leak from the powder room above,

Description of Work: The outside spigot to the house had burst and was leaking water in my garage. The plumber replaced and braced the new spigot. He did so promptly and in a short amount of time. He had arrived slightly before the appt time, which was welcomed. Although the price for the work seems a little high to me, I know professional plumbers are costly by the hour. This job was quoted for the job not time. Nonetheless, I have used Len the Plumber in the past and have been nothing short of happy with the workmanship and reliability. I definitely would use them again.

Description of Work: I needed the inside floats replaced on two toilets. Price was a little high for such a fast, uncomplicated job but I may be unrealistic about plumbing repairs? |There were two plumbers and they were extremely both professional and prompt.

Description of Work: The faucet and sink in the kitchen stopped working and I had no place to call on Saturday evening , one call to them on Saturday evening, live conversation, and on Sunday morning at 9 am service man at the door had the parts in the truck with him and finished the job at 11ocklock and made my only kitchen in the house functioning, they are a little expensive but when you need them they are there even on weekends.
