I had some damage to lamps n very expensive mirror. Did not put in a claim. I heard from my agent that there was damage done to the gutters over the garage n this company sad they did not do this with the truck, no they did this carrying out a big fan from my home that I sold. So therefore I did not call to put the damage on my personal thing because they would have not done anything for me. I will be moving again when a condo comes up for sale for me and I will not call them. I was going to use them again until I notice this when putting my place together.

There was only 2 movers, one could not understand english or speak it the other one was in office attire. He was very unprofessional and rude. To me they cared more about the money than their customer service. I did not get what I was told originally in the quote, everything was different when they showed up. DO NOT HIRE.

Overall, we had a good experience with this company. I called them on a Monday in the late afternoon for help with moving boxes and furniture out of a container at a storage facility and into our home. They asked realistic questions and understood what we needed. The guys were quick and efficient as well as being very pleasant. I would definitely recommend them.

Price does not match who they send out to actually move you. Usually 2 random guys in mismatxhing clothes with an 7nmafked truck asking for a pen to sign the crumpled contract pulled from their pocket.

Sardor called on the morning of and asked if they could come early. He and his crew arrived 45 mins early and everything went smoothly from there. Sardor and his crew were efficient, friendly, and well organized. Would use them again in a heartbeat.

This was a VERY short notice move. As soon as I posted on Angie’s List that I needed help they responded. They friendly, professional and honest. The price they quoted for 2 men for 4 hours was very reasonable. To my surprise it didn’t take 4 hours so it was even cheaper. We tried to tip them at the end they refused, because it didn’t .

Well, the set up for the move was superlative. They come tomorrow so I will add more when the move is complete. But judging from the time I spent with Crystal this is a company I will keep.

You need to oversee every step from counting every box they load to standing there with a checklist verifying every box unloaded. Unfortunately, I was short-handed, and they arrived late unloading and fast furious. When all was reviewed, we were missing two boxes, and after 3 weeks of effort home office (and us) believe boxes were left at a previous delivery who is not cooperating. While drivers are at fault for leaving our boxes at the wrong house, the owner at that location was not cooperating with our reimbursement. (if we ever get it)I will not replace the sentimental value of these items. Count your boxes, and be prepared to stop payment if you do not get all your property.

I couldnâ t be happier with the local moving services provided by American Relocation. I have moved 6 times over the past 7 years spanning 4 different states, and this was BY FAR my best experience. The three men that came were on time, professional, and they were transparent about all costs. I noticed some of the reviews mention the added costs of tape, boxes, and packaging certain items, but in my experience, this is typical of a moving company. They were also the cheapest quote of 4 comparable local movers that I contacted, so the lower hourly price offsets the extra costs anyway. The alternatives are to 1) buy your own tape, bubble wrap, and have extra boxes for them to use; or 2) hire a few guys with a low hourly rate and accept that your things will not be taken care of properly. With each moving company that I have used, the men arrive and work hard, but they usually tire out getting to the new location. I have had movers decide to unload everything to one room and call it a day, drop things, and carelessly bang furniture moving up and down the stairs. The point person for the three men, George, was phenomenal in directing the crew. They wrapped all furniture with total care and communicated very well with each other when moving stuff to/from the truck. We just moved to our forever home, but I would use them again without hesitation!!

Excellent moving service. We were quoted for a few hours, and got a two bedroom apartment moved without any problems. It was well worth the price. We had a lot of very heavy moving stuff that was all moved without any problems. My wife was happy with how everything was done, so that makes me happy. Tyler an everyone were great!

The movers did a great job. We had a set arrival time of them showing up at 9am. They showed up on time and got everything packed into the truck and secured. We moved across the state, everything was done the same day. Reliable moving service, and the rates were very competitive. Would hire them again.

Great experience with American Relocation They did an excellent job. Loading/unloading transportation wrapping disassemble and reassemble the furniture everything was quick and efficient. Very happy we choose this company and the price was affordable for our 2 bedroom

Great Moving Company, did a very good job moving all my furniture to my new house, movers wrapped up my furniture safely carefully and made sure nothing will get broken . Team was friendly customer service explained everything and answered to all our question we had about move, no hidden fees, the estimate go a little over because of the packing material because we had to use some boxes, but we've been told that packing materials will not be included in the price so there was not issue also I read the contract very careful. Move is stressful but we are happy to choose American Relocation

Sales staff was excellent with all my questions. Patient and to the point, made sure I was aware of all fees if necessary. Movers were careful and courteous and delivery was less than a week! So happy I chose them.

They are incompetent, untruthful, unconcerned, and highly unprofessional. I still have missing items along with the damaged and destroyed items they delivered. There is no recourse given the fine print of their contract, so I am out not only the moving fee but thousands of dollars of valuable items. I have never had such a bad experience with any service provider of any sort! When my mother went into assisted living, I had little time to find a mover to bring furniture and collectibles to my home in Vermont. I chose American Relocation based on reviews and their ability to pack her apartment quickly. My mistake! The packers were professional and efficient, and I was reassured about my choice. Then things went horribly wrong. The movers arrived a day late and kept me waiting at the storage unit for several hours after they said they had arrived. Their claim is that the truck broke down, and they had to repack everything in a rental. When they finally arrived, the boxes of fragile items were on the bottom, under furniture which was stacked against the roof of the truck where it was scarred and gouged. In unloading, more damage was done. One box, marked **Very Fragile** by the movers, was crushed -- the lamp inside, a family heirloom, was demolished. Every box showed signs of damage and indeed there were broken items in every one. All the furniture was at least slightly damaged, even wearing through the moving blankets. But that is just the start! Two boxes and some shelves were missing. The movers tried to give me a box belonging to some other client, then said that the missing ones must be in the broken truck. They promised to return the next day with them. They did not. Promises were constantly made to deliver the missing goods when I called either the driver or the office. All promises were broken. I have been told that they were unable to rent a truck -- obviously untrue since they were in a rental truck when they made the delivery. Then they said that they could not rent a truck because they did not have a credit card. Who sends a pair of workers out on a multi-day trip without a business credit card? I have twice been promised that the driver would make a trip to his personal vehicle; he did not. It is now four weeks after the delivery date and the missing items are still missing. I have filed a claim but will, at best, get a pittance. Maybe 1% of the value. One of the worst business experiences I have had. Avoid these liars!

The customer service rep when we booked the job was helpful, and the movers did a good job of both packing and unpacking. Figuring out exactly when our stuff would arrive was a bit difficult, however it arrived on the other side of the country rather quickly (and much earlier than the estimate).
