Basically I got nothing for $75 that I paid to this company. They did NOTHING. Not even return a phone call.
Description of Work: I bought this package to see if I could have them redesign the downstairs bathroom in my home. I contacted them several times about coming out to my house. They never responded or showed up.

Paul and his team did an excellent job updating 2 full baths in my townhouse. Kept the tub in the guest bathroom but besides that everything was removed from the old bathrooms and most walls were taken down to studs. His team was able to finish both bathrooms in about two weeks and we couldn't be happier with the results. Cost 15K for the labor and the materials were just under 9K. Will definitely reach out to Noble Kitchen and Bath for any future projects I have.
Description of Work: Updated 2 full bathrooms.

Very well. We had ideas of our own which to which he added his own spin which we appreciated. He produced the model earlier than promised. We have not decided yet to proceed. Maybe more later.

I purchased one of the "Design a kitchen" deals from Angie's List for $75 on 9/25/2014. Paul immediately contacted me and arranged to come over to measure our kitchen and provide us a design and 3D drawings. On October 8th, 2014 Paul emailed me the plans and we liked what he came up with. We made a few tweaks and asked him to provide us with a quote. At this time the $75 design is complete. Paul did exactly what the Angie's List said he would do. I have read a few complaints on here about Paul being slow and non-responsive. I have to disagree with those complaints because you have to think about the nature of his business. The $75 "design a kitchen" deal is just that, a design. It is not meant to be a perfect, down to the square inch plan that he is going to turn over to you so you can build it yourself. He owns a kitchen and bath company and he wants your business. After talking to Paul, I got the impression that he gets lots of people off Angie's List buying this deal, however not a great percentage of them actually signing a contract. A lot of people (and for good reason) like to get 3-4 quotes from different companies and then pick and choose. I understand that for certain things, but I don't have the time when you are talking about a major project. There is a lot of time and resources involved in getting an exact quote for a kitchen. He needs to come back to your house and measure 100% exactly. You need to meet him at his show room and actually pick out what type of cabinets, drawers, colors, stains, etc. He plugs all of that into his software program and then it spits out a quote based on your choices. It is definitely a time consuming process and one that I would not want to go through with more than one company. I personally joined Angie's List for this reason. I would pick a company with an A rating and positive reviews. I felt good after meeting with Paul and I could tell he was a stand up guy. Paul doesn't actually do any of the work on site. He has two crews of guys that do everything from A to Z. Paul's job is to drum up business, design and order the materials and of course schedule his workers job sites. Once Paul produced a quote, the price was in the ball park that we figured and we decided to sign the contact. Now that things were official, he was able to look ahead on the calendar and schedule us in. His guess was 1st thing in January, however due to other job delays, we were penciled in for January 14th, 2015. The first day of the job I stayed home so I could meet Paul and his crew. They arrived on time and quickly went to work demolishing the kitchen. It was a crew of four led by their leader Mario. I gave Mario a temporary code to the garage door so he could come and go as needed over the next three weeks without needing to be home. All were very professional and I have nothing bad to say about the crew at all. At the end of each workday they always cleaned up the work site and tucked their tools away under tarps so our kids wouldn't be tempted in any way. The project went just like clockwork. From start to finish it took them about 3 and 1/2 weeks. The bulk of that time (about 10 days) the kitchen was waiting on the granite to be cut and delivered. Paul was easy to work with. Quotes and design plans were sent over email although I found he likes to talk on the phone rather than email or text message. We had an excellent experience working with Noble Kitchen and Bath and we will be doing business with them again in a few years to update our Master bathroom. If you are 100% serious about doing a job, you can stop your search for a contractor right here, call Paul, and get your project rolling. Take it from this happy customer, you will have made the right choice! -Sean

The crew showed up on the date and time agreed upon. They were pleasant and very respectful of my house. When necessary they laid drop clothes and walked on them. They worked all day, only taking a break for lunch. They cleaned up every day. Their work was excellent. The paint job was spectacular. All imperfections were sanded away prior to applying the paint. They laid engineered hardwood, covered popcorn ceilings, installed lighting, cabinets, appliances, tiled a bathroom, put in a new shower. The work was completed last week and to date all is well. No major issues. Everything works. They even hung a large flat screen TV and hooked up the cable for me. They were extremely accommodating. All crew members appeared to have multiple skills, and I would rate their skill levels to be far above average. During my reno we discovered a leak in the roof. Although this was not part of my contract they repaired it and charged me for only the materials. During the final clean up, 2 of the crew were actually on their hands and knees wiping the dirt off the floor. I was totally impressed. They put my furniture back and moved some other things for me. Nothing was too much trouble. I am a single woman in my 60's. I felt very comfortable with this crew in my house. They had a key, and I felt very comfortable having them here when I was gone. They were completely trustworthy. The contractor was very easy to work with. He promptly returned phone calls and came to the house daily to check on things. He always had a solution to any problem. His input was invaluable. He has a very thorough knowledge of house building. I would definitely recommend him to family and friends. The finished product is beautiful, and I know I will enjoy it for years to come.
Description of Work: This provider completed a renovation of most of my house, including kitchen, 1 bath, and removal of 2 walls. My house is approximately 1400 square feet.

The project was started in a timely manner and progress made each day as two or sometimes three guys worked on it. Then completed it in under the estimated time. Total of six days of work plus a half day to clean up. The finished product was everything we discussed and more. Couldn't be happier. He even came in slightly under budget. What a great team to work with!

Everything went very well and we love our new kitchen. We found Paul through an Angie's list deal. We had gotten a couple of other estimates, but we chose Paul because he was local, his estimate was very competitive and his Angie's list reviews and ratings were good. This was a complete kitchen remodel. Paul worked very closely with us through the design phase. He worked very hard to find the right line of cabinets to meet our requirements and budget. Once the contract was signed and we we were on the schedule, the work began. His crew, led by Mario, were very good. They are talented and work fast. Most of the work was done in the first two weeks. There was a slight delay in one of the cabinets, but if it wasn't for that, they would have finished ahead of schedule. Even with the delay, the work was complete on budget and on time. The quality of work is very good. They are hard workers and they did an excellent job. Paul is a contractor, not a salesman. I liked that we dealt directly with the business owner. He is personally involved every step of the way. He's very responsive and easy to work with. I will be using him again and I would definitely recommend him.

Four years ago I met Paul from Noble Kitchen and Bath and decided to hire him to remodel my kitchen and bathrooms in my home along with finishing my basement. The job went so well that I hired him four years later to totally renovate the first floor of my new home. Paul made it very easy this time as he did the last. He works with you and makes you feel completly at ease during the process. His staff are very professional, polite, and responsible. They clean up after themselves everyday and are on time (something very important to me). This time I asked Paul to gut my baths and kitchen and completely redo them. Also, I needed him to rip up the carpet and put in new wood floors in the Master bedroom, hallway, and living room. One of the things I understand when you have a remodeling job this large is that everything will not be perfect, or you may change your mind during the process. Paul and his staff are very flexible and if a mistake is made they correct it immediately without conflict. During this job I would add things for Paul to do, or make changes from the original plan and there were absolutely no issues. The job was completed in a timely fashion and I am very satisfied with the result. I highly recommend Paul and his company, Noble Kitchen and Bath. This is my second time around and I would definelty use him again.
Description of Work: Noble Kitchen and Bath completely remodeled the first floor of my new home to include two and half bathrooms, new kitchen, new wood floors, tile in the laundry room, new doors/molding throughout, and painting the entire level.

Purchased "Deal" advertised on Angies List for a consultation on Kitchen or Bath remodeling, with estimate and plans, for $75.00. After a couple of miscommunications on schedule, Paul arrived at our home in Mid-May 2014 and I directed him to the bathroom that we are thinking about renovating, and a closet where we were thinking about installing a second bathroom. Paul and I talked through both of them and he agreed to draw up plans and provide general cost estimates. A few weeks went by without hearing from him, and when I inquired about the status, he was very apologetic about being late with the submission and refunded all of our money plus $25 without me even prompting for it. He did provide the conceptual plans and cost estimates. All in all, they did what they agreed to do and even went above and beyond in refunding the money due to being a little behind schedule on what they originally promised.
Description of Work: Provided conceptual designs for renovation of 2 bathrooms.

After the kitchen renovation started, Paul's employees stayed until the job was complete. The only hold up was the sliding glass door availability which was no fault of Noble Kitchen & Bath. Paul's crew works very hard all day, every day and they even work on Saturday's. They will quickly change anything not to your liking - Paul's attitude it great, he wants his customer's to be pleased with the renovation. Paul is going to renovation a Master Bath for us in the near future.

The team of two showed up exactly at 9am as they said they would. I showed them to the room where the cracked skylight was. They moved all my furniture and rug out of the way and went to work. Less than 2 hours later I had a brand new skylight and all my furniture was back in exactly the right place!! They were very nice, very curtious and ready to work! The owner, Paul and the team were all VERY nice and VERY professional! I will be getting an estimate from them in very near future for some additional work on my home.
Description of Work: The owner, Paul Mobin came to my home to examine the damaged skylight. It had been cracked by a branch during a storm. To me it looked like it was cave in at any moment. Paul examined from the inside and from up on the roof. He assured me that the window would not fall in and that his team could replace it.

He's very good! The ideas he came up with were great and I'll likely be using them for the project. Consultant came to house, measured bathroom, asked a few questions and left -- probably 30 minutes max. A few weeks ;atter she sent me a computer generated floor plan, which I could have done myself. I was then told I had to pick out tile, fixtures, etc. before next step. I said I wanted a plan and would work wit a contractor, using the plan, if I decided to go ahead. Final product was a sketch of my bathroom. Not very good. For example I told consultant that the floor plan had the shower in the wrong place, and she replied that that was the only way the computer program did it. I could have done it myself with a piece of paper, a rules, and a good pencil. Nobel Kitchen and Bath is a construction company, and probably very good at that. Not so good for a very cheap plan.
Description of Work: Consultant came to house, looked at existing bathroom. Abpit two months later I received a email attachment with a floor plan.

I had some trouble contacting him; we played phone tag. He came out, made some measurements and suggestions. I told him I would not be doing anything this year, but I wanted these plans. I did have to call and reminded him about sending them to me. He did send them to me and I thought what he sent me was a good way to lay out the bathroom. I gave him some of my thoughts too and he incorporated those as well.

Initial meetings went well and even though Paul said he wanted to do the work, the only time I heard from him was when I called him. He didn't respond to e-mail and also priced me at the very top end. I get the sense he had too much work, which is fine... just tell me. Why lead someone on and do nothing to follow through?

My wife and I purchased a home in Arnold, MD that had not been updated since it was built in 1980. We knew we had a large job ahead of us, so decided to carefully select a contractor to take on the job. We narrowed down the list to 5 contractors using Angie?s list, a number of other online resources, reviews from people that we knew, and also contacted a contractor we use on a regular basis for work in our condo in Arlington, VA. Of the five contractors that made the first cut, we selected Noble Kitchen & Bath and have been pleased with the outcome. Although Noble Kitchen & Bath?s quoted price was not the lowest, Paul Mobin (from Noble Kitchen & Bath) offered the best value for the money and came in SIGNIFICANTLY lower than the two highest quotes. My wife and I had a very specific theme and design in mind for our house, and Paul worked with us to help fulfill our vision. He offered great advice and designs when we asked for his input but also gave us plenty of ?space? to make our own decisions so that we could customize our home to our own specifications. He also identified when he would be able to source products/items faster and at better prices (e.g. cabinets, trim, etc.) and when it might be more cost efficient for us to purchase items directly (e.g. stacking 10% off appliance discounts at Lowes with the Lowes 0% APR credit card, etc.). For the amount of work that had to be performed to renovate our house, there were very few hiccups along the way. Of course during a complete home renovation like ours, hiccups are to be expected and my wife and I were always impressed with how Paul Mobin and his crew at Noble Kitchen & Bath handled them. Anytime an issue came up, Paul, Mario, and the work crew was very responsive to our concerns, and those concerns were always addressed promptly, with no hesitations, and always to our satisfaction. My wife and I were also very pleased with the crew that worked in our home. Mario ? the lead crew member ? was honest, clean, dependable, and personable. For long renovation projects, it is impossible to understate how important it is to have team members that will respect your home. Mario and his crew are top notch. Most importantly (for me), Paul?s final bill/invoice at project completion was in line with the initial quote with no surprises. It was unlike most other contractors I?ve worked with in the past who quote a low price up front to win a job and then add costs to the final invoice after the work is completed. All the changes to the work were discussed up front to ensure that there were no unexpected charges at the end of the job, which was essential to allowing me to accurately budget for the renovation. Noble Kitchen & Bath and Paul Mobin exceeded our expectations by coming in on budget, completing the job on schedule, and by ensuring that we were in communication during the entire project. *Update - I had asked Paul to stop by to check up on a fan/light that was installed, but didn't seem to work. Paul was prompt in his response and had a crew over to take a look at the problem. I had thought that there might be some sort of electrical issue. The crew arrived (after having them in my home for over a month - I've gotten to the point where I simply leave a key in a lockbox for them and take off to work with no worries or concerns - even my dog likes every one of their team members) and fixed the problem. I came home to a working fan and light - only to find out that it was a problem with the fan/light. I hadn't even thought that the problem was with the remote sensor in the fan since it was newly purchased. After asking Paul how much I owed him for the work, time and materials his crew spent to fix the problem with the fixture, he indicated that he was happy to do the work and wouldn't accept payment. Paul, his crew, and the entire team at Noble Kitchen and Bath are truly class acts.
