Highly recommend Shamrock Chimney for job well done involving collapsed clay flues & boiler chimney relined w/28 ft stainless steel system & more ...all due to lack of any cap ever being put on. What a discovery this was! Very pleased with technician's communication skills via photos shown & courteous manner in explaining everything needed. Deserves 5 stars.

We were given a window of between 11:00am- 2:00pm. Had to call the office after 3:00pm to find out if they were still arriving. Office Dispatcher said they were running late. They finally showed up at 6:00pm. Worked until dusk on project. $1,500 later, all was in place. So far so good. They took before after photos, gave advice on how the chimney did not require a flu installed since the home was built in 1848. Appeared very knowledgeable.

We had to reschedule a couple times to get them out to the house, but once there they fixed the missing chimney cap at a very reasonable price.

The technician was very clear and transparent in the issues he saw and the work he'd do to fix our chimney. He showed me before and after pictures and explained in detail the work he'd do. He evaluated the chimney and completed the work on the same day. Very fast and efficient and--from what I can tell--a very good professional job.

They ruined my rug in the basement, I had black in my finished basement. They had to come back to reseal the wall. I had to call my oilman for a leak in a valve so it had to be replaced. So disappointed.

Worst customer service ever! We hired Shamrock to install a chimney cap. After the first storm the top of the cap was open. A technician was supposed to come out this Tuesday and they did not show. My phone calls and messages are going unanswered.

Worse experience ever. Made an appointment and no one showed at the scheduled time. I had to text them and they said they were running late. Never showed. A supervisor lied and said they called ahead and because I didn't answer they didn't come. Gave them another chance They never showed or texted me. Gave them a third chance, the same thing. They begged for another chance offering to reduce the price but had to cancel twice, the first time because of snow which was acceptable. The second time because apparently, 38 degrees was too cold. Isn't that one of the things outdoor contractors deal with? And it was just an inspection, which shouldn't have taken long at all. The woman who called me after I had to once again text them thought I should praise her for getting back to me so quickly after 5 no shows and once again tried to reschedule. I told her thanks but no thanks. five chances was four too many fot this company.

The tech was well knowledge and explained everything he did. He also gave some good advice to help prevent future problems.

Shamrock lives up to the highest standards for service and punctuality. Their technician, Joseph was friendly, courteous and extremely hard working. I unreservedly recommend Shamrock for your project!

They were able to schedule the job very quickly from the time they checked out project to start time.

Amazing service from both Mary who set up the chimney sweep and the two young gentlemen who did the work. Pleasant, hard working and very professional. Price was a bit steep but the quality of workmanship was fantastic!!

Shotty, horrible work. Trying to resolve an issue and I was threatened with an attorney, was told he has someone on retainer and has more money than I will make in my lifetime. Would like to know when this would be resolved since we will have the building inspector here when they show up.

Prompt response from Home Advisor, and were able to complete job the same day they quoted me hundreds less than two competitors for a chimney cap and crown repair. They had to reschedule original appointment, no big deal and showed up and completed promptly on the reschedule. Will likely hire again for relining.

I initially hired Shamrock Chimney because they were rated 4.3 on Home Advisor and their pricing was reasonable. However, after checking other reviews (mainly Yelp, average 1.5), I discovered that they were poorly rated and had many complaints beginning in early 2020. In response to my appointment cancellation, the Shamrock representative was very defensive, talked over and interrupted me repeatedly, claimed that his reviews were the best of all (as of this date they are not, with at least 2 other companies rated higher), and hung up on me when I told him about the poor Yelp reviews, rudely claiming that HE did not want to do business with me. I am very glad to have taken the time to investigate this company and encourage all potential clients to do the same.
