He is really good and helpful. He did a good job or pumping and explaining all what he did. The only issue was that when we scheduled the appointment, he convinced me that there is no charge for digging if it takes him minutes to find it, which is what happened. He found the spot and dug in in matter of minutes (he knows what he is doing). However, he still charged me $40 for digging, which wasn't the part of the original deal. Anyways, the only reason I wouldn't hire again is that with digging charges, he is more expensive than other options in the area with equally good reviews. I have no complains about this work.

After coming home from vacation, discovered toilet and shower backed up in downstairs bathroom after showering upstairs. Thought it might be septic related so gave Joe a call at 8am Monday morning. He finished some earlier appointments faster than anticipated so arrived before 10 am the same day. He found the baffle cover quickly based on orientation of tank cover that I had dug up and the inlet pipe coming from the house (no unnecessary digging in cold weather). Saw the clog right away so cleared that out and scraped down sides of grease and other items that had adhered to wall. Since everything was open, asked him to pump tank. Joe was prompt, efficient, knowledgeable, and answered all my questions. A great hire!

We just had our first septic pumping today and we used A Community Sanitation Service. Joe Nickerson was amazing! He's a friendly guy, who walked me through everything as he was doing it, gave me good advice, answered all my questions, and didn't try to sell me on things that weren't reputable or necessary for my system. The cherry scent he adds to his trucks sure helped to deodorize the situation. :) It was also great that there was up front pricing and his estimate over the phone was spot on. For reference, we have a 1500 gallon system with access that's about 2' under ground.

I called for a pump-out, and was told that nearest availability was about 3 weeks away. When I mentioned that I was concerned about slow drains, Joe rearranged things to get me taken care of just 3 days later. He was professional and explained everything to me. Additionally, he found that there was a filter on the output that was the cause for slow drains in the first place. I've owned the house for 11 years and had the tank pumped a few times. Nobody else has been thorough enough to find and clean the filter. To be fair to the other guys apparently code requires a green manhole cover if there is a filter, which we don't have. Kudos to Joe for going the extra mile and educating me about our system.

Scheduling this service could not hàve been easier. I found Joe on the list and was impressed with the positive reviews. I called and promptly had an appointment. The day of the service,Joe let my husband know what time he was arriving which was perfect,because my husband, who had planned on working from home had to attend a meeting at his office. Joe arrived promptly as indicated, performed the service, evaluated our system and could not have been more pleasant. How wonderful to work with a pleasant, knowledgeable professional!

Excellent service on all dimensions. He answered his phone and scheduled the service promptly. On the day of the service, he showed up on time and was very accommodating about explaining what he was looking for to know whether the system was working correctly. His pricing is right in line with other companies in the area, and has the advantage of being less gimmicky (i.e., he doesn't artificially raise his price $35 just so he can give everybody a $35 coupon "discount"). I checked with our town Board and he's certified to do official state inspections. Seemed very knowledgeable about system design and operation.

It went great. He showed up 30 minutes early, explained what he was doing and why he was doing it, and shared a couple of amusing anecdotes.

I'm new to septic systems. The gentleman who serviced the system was friendly, answered all of my questions, and walked me through the details while giving me maintenance advice. Will absolutely use them again.

He came, did the work and left and we had to follow him up to pay him. I would recommend him.

Joe told me I had a separate dry well for the water softener runoff (something the Title 5 inspector missed completely when we were buying the house), and that the system is performing perfectly. After he was done, I could barely tell where he had dug. Definitely will use Community Sanitation again; highly recommended.

This is the second time I use Community Sanitation and the experience was pleasant. Joe was very easy to talk to on the phone when scheduling an appointment and he remembered coming to my house 2 years ago. They arrived 20 minutes earlier and started probing for the 2nd cover based on the Title-V plot. It took him 1.5 hour to get to the cover. He charged $150 for and quot;locate + digand quot;, which I think is a bit pricy but it's a hot day to work outside so I feel it's fair. Joe explains things when he works and he's very polite. He also commented on the general condition of the system and gave advices.

He was really good. They were great. He was very honest. He taught me through the problem and he told me what I could do. He was very knowledgeable, very very helpful and accommodating.

He was very professional and informative. He gave us great tips for keeping our system in good shape. We will definitely call him for any future septic maintenance.

The main stack was backing up into the house. Water getting through, but slowly. Assumed that we had a slow drain or that the septic needed pumping. We did not know exactly where the tank was and knew it had not been serviced in quite a few years. Joe came out right away to check out the situation and take a look for the tank. He could not stay as he had another job, but his partner Ed came and continued to look for the tank. It took a bit of probing, but the tank was found. That same day, Joe came back and the tank was pumped, the inlet pipes were snaked clean and we found that the outflow baffle was broken off. Joe came back as promised two days later, fixed the outflow baffle and filled in the dug out area. Both Joe and Ed were extremely professional and courteous. Explained the system and how it worked and what needed to be done. They did all their work and cleaned up the area after. I would definitely recommend this company and will be using their services in the future.

Timely, professional, honest and personable. We were having problems with the system and as soon as he pulled the cover he showed me a problem. He had me stop washing dished until he was able to pump some of the tank. We were VERY LUCKY it didn't come into the house I couldn't believe what I saw! We discussed how to get the tank working until we tied in to the town in a few years. I would highly recommend Joe, the owner and operator, and hope anyone looking for Septic service will look no further. The towns he services also extend to Dracut where we are located.

When setting up the appointment he asked if there was a problem and I said there wasn't, I just need a routine pump-out so he booked me 4 days from the call. I also told him I would dig out the covers (only 4 inches down). I dug out the main cover and the baffle inspection ports. When the day came my wife was here to handle the business. He first parked on the street but that would require dragging a hose across our gardens so my wife asked him to park in the driveway and run the hoses from there. He cheerfully agreed and moved his truck. My wife noted that he was and quot;anal-retentiveand quot; and methodical with his work. He marked the cover to make sure he replaced it the exact same way (cement covers are not perfectly round, he explained). He gave the baffles a careful inspection and noted that there was no back flow from the and quot;Dand quot; box. He gave the system an A+ Not only was he very professional but his truck and clothing were spotless. He is the owner and sole operator.

Great service. Showed up on time. Explained to us how system worked and how to clean the filter. I wanted him to come annually and even though he could make more money on us, he was honest and told us that wasn't necessary. I was very happy.

My fairly new system was plugged and starting to backup into the house. Panicked and started calling companies to see if they could help. First company (large well known company) was wishy washy on whether or not they could make it over the same day, and definitely not responsive or customer focused. These guys were the opposite - they were fantastic!! Came over within a couple of hours, diagnosed and fixed the problem (toy flushed by kid stuck in outflow valve) and also pumped out my tank (it's a large 2000 gal tank). Would definitely recommend them and will use them again due to their responsiveness and professionalism.

Everything went smoothly. They responded to my call quickly and came out within a few days. No problems at all. Very competitive price.

We had not had the tank pumped in a long while, so when we called Joe we were a little nervous about what they would find. They came out when they said they would, on time and very friendly. Found the tank with no problem, pumped it out, explained the process, didn't try and up sell, and cleaned up after they were done. We were very happy with their work, and will recommend them to our friends and neighbors.

I hired Joe to pump my septic system out. Joe showed up promptly and did a through job. Not only did he do a great job, he also spent a good length of time explaining in detail about the particular system I had and how it works. I got quotes from other companies in the area which made statements like and quot;$35 if we have to expose the coverand quot;, Joe made no such statement. He charges a reasonable fee, truly cares about his customers and believes in repeat business. I will be using him for my future septic pumping.

If you do not use Joe for septic pumping, you are making a mistake. By far the best job and most knowledgeable and nicest and helpful. We will continue to use Joe forever!

Extremely pleased with the service - would highly recommend. We had no idea where our septic tank cover was so in addition to pumping the tank, we had asked them to dig up the cover for us. When they left, you would have never known that our lawn was even dug up. They drew me a map for future cleanings so we would always know where our cover was. They arrvied exactly when they said they would, were highly professional, personable and competent. Going forward, we will always use them for our service.
