Tim and James did an excellent job fixing my chimney. Tim was great at explaining everything to me. I’m very satisfied with the entire process. It only took a few hours and everything was cleaned up like it was new.

chris/chris came and inspected my 3 chimneys they were very polite and talked me through all that was done from cleaning inspecting and putting on caps i would recommend them to all my friends.

We had an appointment to have our oil flue cleaned and when it was inspected, it was found in pieces. We had an excellent technician who was knowledgeable, courteous and repaired it that day. He inspected our chimney and applied flashing for us. We will be having him back in the spring to repair the crown and several points. It was a pleasure to have this young man in our home and we are very pleased with his work and the company! We would highly recommend this company and the technician, Sean. We are very happy with our experience!

We had recently moved into a house with a fireplace and found that smoke was entering the room when we built a fire. The chimney sweep, Sean, arrived and did a thorough inspection of the fireplace and chimney. He explained what he found and provided a detailed report. He answered all of the questions I had and was courteous. I called 5 Star based on a recommendation from a family member who has used 5 Star and was very pleased with their service. I would recommend 5 Star to everyone with a fireplace and will call them next time we need chimney service or repair.

Never use Failed to honor guarantee on chimney cap which blew off.

The company returned my call quickly and made an appointment within a very reasonable amount of time. The gentlemen that came to do the work were professional and efficient. As yet, I don't know if the chimney cap does what I hope since we haven't had any good amount of rain, but we shall see. Jose also told me he put silicone in several cracks he found on top of the chimney which I thought was very good of him to do. He also noted moss on the chimney and I have brought that to the attention of the board of my condo complex to look into for repairs/cleaning. All in all, a very good experience.

The office staff made me feel like all of my concerns would be taken care of. Shawn was extremely nice, young but full of knowledge and I really liked to see someone take full interest in every aspect of his job. He didn't hesitate to find an answer for any question. The price was reasonable for the work I needed. Thankfully, other issues that could have turned into bigger problems were caught early enough by this team. I'm grateful for this company helping me with my chimney work and will absolutely recommend them to anyone I know.

The technicians did a good job. Al was professionally and thorough. The price was around the same as other companies yet 5 Star Ventilation contacted me first and made sure I got a date I needed that worked for me. I would recommend them to my loved ones any day.

They promised to do things they didn't do. The objective was to stop the water from coming from the chimney and it didn't stop. Amy was very rude and did not keep any promises on calling me. Very poor customer service. Professionally the job was very poor. I would never recommend them!

They did their work in safe and efficient manner (i.e showed up when the suppose to and completed the work as promised).
