Excellent outcome, with radon readings going from 9.0 to 0.9 on the first try. A very positive experience all around, fair price, happy customer.

The technician showed up on time, did a beautiful job (it was neat, clean, elegantly arranged <especially for big white PVC piping>, and he cleaned up after himself. The system is very quiet and can only be heard when up close outside adjacent to the power unit. I hope not to need this service again but if I do, I'll be calling Eagle Environmental. Price wise - they were mid point between the other two quotes I had and those were without someone coming to assess what was needed. Eagle soars above the rest!

We had very positive experience with the company. They gave us an estimate during the house purchase negotiation process and stuck to that number when we came back a month later. The person doing the work took time to explain an installation process and answered all my questions without any hint of arrogance. He took care of the job in timely manner, making the system fitting the exterior of the house seamlessly with all the inside wiring hidden along the wall. The work site was left clean. He even took care of some of the foundation cracks.

John did an estimate for us for a radon system. On the end we picked another company (as we needed air and water mitigation) but John was prompt, professional and the quote was quite reasonable. He also left some literature explaining the radon issue and took the time to explain everything.

We had to wait a little bit of time for Eagle, but we picked them after interviewing 3 different companies because we felt that they were the most experienced. On the day of the job, Kevin arrived super early and worked until the system was in place. We really enjoyed working with him from start to finish and if we were to ever need a system installed somewhere else in the future, we would hire Kevin in a heartbeat.

It went great. The pricing was favorable as compared to my other quote, and everyone was very sensitive to our desires regarding where we wanted the piping to be routed. My original desired layout wouldn't work, so Eagle worked with us to find an alternate path that was just as great. The system is quiet, and subsequent radon testing showed a 10x reduction in radon. I'd highly recommend Eagle.

I'm a Real Estate Agent and have used Eagle Environmental in the past, always with excellent responsiveness and service. This time I needed a quick estimate on radon mitigation on a property for my buyers. I left a message after 5 on 2/13/2012. I got a call back soon after 8 the next morning and made an appointment for 1:15 same day. When I arrived a few minutes early, Kevin was there waiting. I had a written quote in hand about 30 minutes later. Buyers plan to do the mitigation after closing.

I highly recommend using Eagle Environmental to install your mitigation system. John, who came out to give me an estimate, answered all of my questions and explained all of the options available to me. Kevin, who installed our system, was friendly, courteous and professional. Within a few hours our system was installed and ready to go.

Called on 7/6 to make an appointment, they weren't able to accommodate anything before 10AM or after 5PM, so we settled at 12:30PM on Wednesday 7/13 for an estimate appointment. I took a half day off work for the appointment, 12:30PM came and went, at 1:30PM I called them and I got Carol(?) in the office, she knew my appointment right away, said she would try to reach their worker. Got a call back 15 mins later from her that she wasn't able to reach the worker and "I don't know what to tell you" (BTW, "Sorry" would have been a good start, and "Let's reschedule" would have been a good follow-up). Since I had no idea if the person would or would not show I waited until 3PM, but no one showed up and no one called. I called the office at about 3PM, but got no answer. I left a message asking them to call me back so we could reschedule... never got a call back from them... I certainly am not going to chase them after they have wasted my time. This is my first bad experience with an Angie's List company.

They did very clean work. They were punctual. The installation was of very high quality. I didn?t have any complaints with anything they did. If need be, then I would definitely use their services in the future too.

Possibly this company does good work, but calling to reschedule three times was not OK.

The sales person showed up on time and spent about 20 minutes assessing the situation. He advised of a few potential options and we settled on a general approach for which he provided an estimate. I let it sit for several days and they called to inquire if I wanted to move forward. I confirmed that I did, made an appointment for about a week later. The installer showed up right on time, was extremely professional, and did an extremely neat job. It was uneventful and smooth from my perspective, which is what everyone hopes for when a contractor shows up. I'd definitely recommend Eagle for anyone looking for a radon system.

The team arrived on time and did the job as quoted. They installed a sub-slab radon system in our basement closet, ran the pipe up through an interior wall, installed a fan in the attic, and vented it through our roof. The work they did was neat and professional.

I received estimates between $1000 and $2200 for this job. Eagle was the 2nd lowest. I chose them because of the Angies List reviews and because John seemed more knowledgeable about Radon than the others. The workmen arrived promptly, were very friendly and professional, and completed the job quickly. He cleaned up after himself, and explained anything I needed to know going forward. I would highly recommend this company.

Kevin came out to our home on a Friday afternoon and spent an hour going over all the option for our radon system. He explained the internal and external options and looked at multiple ways to place it. I was very impressed with the time he spent with me and the options he presented. While this estimate was not the cheapest it was clear that Eagle Environmental was the best option. They have installed 1000's of these systems and really know what they are doing. On the day of the install they showed up on time and finished 2 hours early. Everything was done clean and neat. It was one of the best contractor experiences I have ever had, I can't say enough good things about them.

Eagle was very responsive on the phone, flexible with the time and date for coming to the house to give me a proposal. They had the lowest price, and suggested a very simple system. One of the other companies suggested digging under the slab and didn?t guarantee that it would work. Another company suggested the same system as eagle did but was more expensive and wasn?t as highly rated on angies lists. Eagle showed up on time, the crew was very friendly and professional. They did exactly what was contracted, did a very neat and clean job. The follow up radon test showed a reading of 0.2 after the system was installed.

They knew exactly what to do and did it within 30 minutes. It seemed expensive but I am not sure what the 'part' itself normally goes for. After rerunning the radon test a few days later, the newly reported levels were extremely low at about 25% of allowed level. Eagle mentioned that even though the fan has a limited guarantee that the mitigation system is guaranteed for life. I have a very large basement and was glad to know that there system works properly.

Great experience, no problems whatsoever. They provided the lowest cost quote, performed the work quickly and with very little disturbance to the house. The re-test after the system was installed wasn't able to detect any measurable radon in the house.

They did an excellent job. They had a certified electrician come to do the electrical work; not all contractors do this. They left everything as clean as when they came.

Terrific--all work was done on time & retest showed it was effective.

John Lugo was very personable and professional. This quality extends to the two people who performed the work. Everything was straight forward, and they did what they told us they would do. All of them arrived at the appointed time. They also cleaned up after finishing their work. Our radon level was slightly above 4 pCi/L, and now it reads below 1 pCi/L. We are very satisfied.

Great experience. John and his assistant described mitigation process in great detail. I watched the install process; about half a day for one person. Radon value dropped from over 10 to less than 2. I'm extremely satisfied and strongly recommend them!
