Excellent service

Eagle was the only one of the three radon reduction contractors I called that actually called me back. They set up a convenient time for the estimate and scheduled everything (the estimate and the job) quickly. The representative who came for the estimate was thorough in assessing the best way to install a mitigation system in our house, which involved a lot of practical considerations, including our concern about the slate roof. We decided, based on his advice, to install the system outside the house, avoiding the roof entirely. The job was performed on time and in one day. Eagle's electrician even agreed to do some minor fixes inside the house for us since he was already there, which we really appreciated. All in all, a very good experience.

I could not have been happier with the service. I called and got a prompt return call. I believe they came out the next morning to give me the estimate. Very professional and courteous. I was away while they installed, but by chance while they were doing it, they noticed a problem with a hose that had nothing to do with the radon system. If they hadn't noticed the problem it would have created a huge headache for me. I would certainly not hesitate to use them. again.

John Lugo inspected our new home and planned for a radon evacuation system with the least invasiveness into our finished basement. He warned that because of the size of the house we might require a second pipe. His worker arrived on time and managed to snake the pipe into our basement's machine room and through the garage to the roof. We hardly noticed him here and the pipe cannot be seen in the finished areas of our home, nor from the outside of the house. He was a genius and did not require a second pipe. We were so happy with the outcome and are confident that we will not require their services again.

It went great. John showed up when he promised, sized the project, and I scheduled the work with him in the next few weeks. Sorry, I forgot his name, but the technician who carried out the work did a fine job. A thoughtful layout of the pipes was completely and the area cleaned up very nicely. I guess I have had bad luck lately with contractors, but the fact that Eagle brought all their own tools, vacuums, and brooms and knew how to use them was greatly appreciated. The radon testing completed after the system was installed, indicated a level of 0.4 Well within acceptable levels. The cost was a bit higher than I thought it would be, but it still seems to be a good value for the piece of mind and the quality performed.

This is the second time I have used Eagle, and have been very happy both times. John came promptly to do the estimate and worked with me to determine the least intrusive installation plan. The installation was also performed on schedule, and performed in a thorough and professional manner.

We had three estimates for a radon remediation system, but Eagle was the only one to approach the design of the system with true care for the placement of the system. Our 1920's house has been extensively added on to and renovated, making it hard to place a system in an unobtrusive, interior location. Eagle made multiple trips to our house trying to find a creative way to install the system, at my request. Additionally, they agreed to remediate the radon to below .2 (<.4 is the standard recommendation). While we were unable to locate the system through the interior of the house, as I had hoped, I am convinced that if these guys couldn't do it, no one could. The final system is as unobtrusive as possible, and was installed quickly and professionally. We were very pleased with our Eagle Environmental experience and have recommended them to many others.

Fantastic company. Returned my call immediately and came to the house within a few days to provide a written fixed priced estimate. Work was performed per specification, and the installer did a fantastic job working the pipes through a maze of existing water and hot water pipes in the basement. John, the owner, answered a number of questions before and after the installation and was very friendly.

Kevin was professional and thorough. Installed the system in a few hours, including running the pipe up from the basement, through a closet and out through the roof in the attic, and installing the fan in the attic. Their quote was $260 cheaper than another local company's.

THEY RETURNED MY CALL THE SAME DAY, MADE AN APPOINTMENT THE FIRST TIME THEY REACHED ME, ARRIVED ON TIME, THOROUGHLY EXPLAINED THE PROCEDURE AND PROVIDED AN ESTIMATE AND UPON MY AGREEMENT TO THE ESTIMATE, MADE A SECOND APPOINTMENT TO DO THE WORK. THEY SHOWED UP EARLY FOR THE SECOND APPOINTMENT (HE SAID HE WOULD HAVE WAITED IF I WASN'T HOME), DID THE WORK, AND WERE POLITE AND PROFESSIONAL THROUGHOUT. THEY LEFT A RADON DETECTOR FOR ME TO USE WHICH I HAVEN'T DONE YET. MY NEIGHBORS ALSO USED THIS COMPANY AND WERE SATISFIED AS WELL.

TOP NOTCH WORK. THE JOB STARTED EXACTLY AT THE AGREED TIME AND THE SYSTEM WAS INSTALLED IN ABOUT 4 HOURS. THE INSTALLER WORKED WITH ME TO LOCATE THE BASEMENT PIPING SUCH AS TO REMAIN CLEAR OF AN AREA WHICH MAY SOME DAY BE FINISHED, AND THE ELECTRICIAN WORKED AROUND AN UNEXPECTED CHANGE IN MY SCHEDULE. VERY PROFESSIONAL JOB, QUALITY RESULTS, AND EFFICIENT CLEAN-UP.

THEY WERE GREAT: THEY GAVE US AN ESTIMATE WITH VARIOUS OPTIONS ABOUT WHICH AREAS WERE TO BE MITIGATED, AND WHERE THE VENTING FAN WAS TO BE SITED. WHEN THEY CAME TO DO THE WORK, THEY CALLED IN ADVANCE, WERE PROMPT, EXPLAINED EVERYTHING CLEARLY, TIDIED UP WELL. WE HIT ONE SNAG WITH THE TYPE OF ROOF WE HAD (TAR AND GRAVEL), AND THEY EXPLAINED ALTERNATIVES, BUT IT TURNED OUT NOT TO BE AN ISSUE. THIS IS MY KIND OF POLITE, PUNCTUAL, INFORMATIVE, CONTRACTOR. I WOULD HIRE THEM AGAIN.

THE TECHNICIAN DID A GOOD JOB INSTALLING THE RADON MITIGATION SYSTEM, AND EDUCATING US ON OPERATION AND FOLLOW UP TEST PROCEDURES.

IF I NEEDED ANOTHER SYSTEM, I WOULD DEFINITELY CALL EAGLE. JOHN WAS FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL IN EXPLAINING WHAT WAS NEEDED, WHY, AND HOW TO FIX IT. THEY CAME OUT PROMPTLY FOR THE ESTIMATE AND ON THE DAY THEY DID THE WORK. BOTH THE INSTALLER (BRYAN) AND THE ELECTRICIAN WERE VERY FRIENDLY, DID A GREAT JOB WITH THE INSTALLATION, AND CLEANED UP BETTER THAN IT WAS BEFORE THEY ARRIVED. FINALLY, THEY DID A NICE JOB IN SELECTING A LOCATION FOR THE SYSTEM SO THAT IT DOES NOT SHOW VERY MUCH. I'M A VERY HAPPY CUSTOMER!
