Fisher Windows

The estimate was done in March with an anticipated install date in May. The windows came in on time. The workers were neat, polite, and professional. The windows were installed with a minimum of mess or fuss. They had mismeasured two of the windows, so those windows had to be reordered. That meant they had to return 5 weeks later to do those. When they arrived, they noticed that one of those two was cracked along the frame. They could have just installed it and I probably would not have noticed it. Instead, they had it professionally repaired and came back (a third time) to quickly install it. The windows seem to be in good working order.

Jeff Fisher Windows lived up to all the great reviews they have received on Angie's List. Jeff came by my house within a couple of days after e-mailing him for an estimate and gave me his honest opinion about what windows should be replaced and there was no pressure. I ended up getting another quote from Rite Window and Jeff's quote came in a little lower, and since he was using name brand windows, I decided to go with Jeff. His crew was very friendly, professional, and they did a flawless job. They replaced 19 double hung windows and installed one new casement window in about 6 hours. Polo, the guy in charge of the installation made sure I was comfortable with the windows after the first one was installed. On the new casement window that they were constructing, Polo asked me how I wanted the frame of the window to be cut, instead of making assumptions. The crew cleaned up nicely and there was barely any touch up needed afterwards. Highly recommend and plan on using Jeff again for future projects.

Jeff and his crew are very responsive and courteous. The work was done on time and one year later I can say that the quality of the work done was very good. Jeff gave excellent advice on the different window brands and I am happy with my choice of windows. Jeff is very focused on customer satisfaction.

Jeff FIsher Windows is one of the best companies I've dealt with in Boston. Jeff is courteous, professional, and extremely responsive. I contacted him for a quote on five window replacements and he came out the next day and did the measurements and placed the order for the windows. Once the windows were in I was contacted to set up a date for the installation. His workers arrived right when they said they would and they were in and out in less than 2 hours. They do great work and the entire process was a breeze.

The quote was $8900. I went off on a lot of reviews on Angie's List. He got here and he was pretty professional about it. His price for the product is the price for what I was looking for. He was very responsive. He called me back. He followed up really well.

Jeff Fisher's people arrived on time, worked quickly and professionally. The windows were custom made and ready earlier than expected. Actual cost came in right on target of the estimate, in part because while Jeff was measuring the windows he easily identified possible rotten would that would need to be replaced. Would definitely have Jeff do the rest of the windows when the time comes.

We initially contacted Fisher Windows because of their good rating on Angie's List, and because they carry both general liability and workers' comp insurance, which is important to us. Jeff and Dennis came out to do the initial meeting and measuring, and afterward, we quickly received a quote via email. There were a few incorrect details, which were easily remedied via email and a second 10 minute visit to recheck measurements. When we needed to reschedule the installation date less than a week in advance, Dennis was completely nice about it, and moved it to the following week. The 3-person installation team replaced all 17 windows in a single day, and while there was inevitable mess and inevitable minor damage to the existing frames and trim, they did their best to keep it to a minimum. (Be aware that replacement windows will require some follow-up spackle and paint, and Fisher Windows does not take care of this.) Polo, the team leader, was especially helpful, and worked with me to ensure that I'd be happy with the details of the installation. Update: Contacted Fisher Windows 8 months after the installation about an upper sash that sagged when the window was unlocked. Had an email response the next morning, and a visit 2 days later. It took about a minute for Jeff to show me how the window had come out of its track during cleaning and how to easily fix it. It's nice to know that they stand by their service.

While I didn't end up using his company, Jeff was extremely helpful and very responsive in answering my questions.

The entire experience with the company was fantastic. Dennis was in charge of my project & it truly was a pleasure working with him. He was flexible with his schedule, upfront with me about cost/timing/etc. I plan to use Jeff Fischer Windows again in the future for any window needs I have. I highly recommend anyone looking for new windows to use these guys. So nice to work with a no hassle, quality team where you feel valued as a customer.

Jeff came the same day i contacted him about getting replacement windows. During a snowstorm! On President's Day! This was unbelievable. He walked through the house, checking all my windows. He didn't try to sell me something if I didn't need it. He was totally polite and professional. One of the best contacts I have ever had with a contractor!

There was a glitch on sizing at the window manufacturer (Harvey), so part of the job was delayed, but Jeff eventually got them all. Of course in an old building like ours there has been a lot of settling, rot and water damage. Jeff measured and sized the windows and installed them perfectly. We are happy with the result and would recommend him.

Jeff was prompt with a follow-up call and visit. His crew performing the window installation were courteous, professional, and friendly. The work was performed quickly, and the quality of the work was outstanding. The interior moldings were put back in place very neatly and the windows had a nice tight fit in the trim. The windows moved up and down in the track effortlessly. After the installation was complete, I noticed one of the window sashes with a 6 lite grid looked slightly tilted at a slant. Once again, I received a quick response with a follow-up visit to adjust the window. It turned out that the 6 lite grid within the window pane was defective, and a new window sash was ordered. The follow-up installation was handled very well and the windows look great. I was told whatever problems are encountered with the quality of the install would be handled anytime to complete satisfaction, and Jeff and his crew did a great job...I would use them again without hesitation.

They did an excellent job. The windows look amazing. The work area was clean and they showed up on time. Extremely courteous and the work is high quality. I would definitely use them again. I accidentally overpaid and they called me to let me know. Great operation.

I found Jeff on AngiesList and chose him from several contractors. From the start, Jeff was very responsive and friendly. What sold me on his company was his first visit: of the 3 replacement window contractors, he was the only one to say he would try to repair a bay in which the casement windows were hard to open. He was the only one to identify that the casement had sagged and just needed to be straightened out to get the (newer) windows working again. He was very responsive to our requests to change and add to what we wanted done. Jeff responded to emails faster than I would have expected from most people, not to mention other contractors. This made figuring out the details much easier. For the install, his crew (Polo & Juan, I think?) was very friendly and completed the job in less time than expected even though the weather did not cooperate entirely. Everything was done to spec, cleaned up afterwards and looking good. I'd happily call Jeff again.

Jeff and his installers, Dave and Kevin, were all fantastic. From the estimate appointment with Jeff to the installation by Dave and Kevin, I was pleasantly surprised that all of them arrived on the day and time they promised (not the case with a previous company where work was, at the last minute, rescheduled twice before it actually happened). Dave and Kevin installed the windows quickly and neatly (cleaned up thoroughly also) and were kind enough to deal with an unexpected rot issue on the outside of one window being replaced. This repair increased the price a bit ($250), but this was understandable and they confirmed with me what the additional cost would be before proceeding with it.

He was prompt. I thought his prices were fair. The estimate he has given us was competitive. In terms of communications, he has been really great.

Overall it went great. We love our new windows and hope that they provide some energy efficiency. Jeff answered my initial call right away and came right out to measure. I had an estimate within days. Some time went by as we focused on other things but I purchased a big deal and Jeff ordered the windows immediately. He said 5-6 weeks...they came in sooner! The guys came out and worked quickly and cleaned up afterwards. When I can set aside more funds, we'll be doing the rest of our windows and Jeff's crew will be our choice of contractors. Thanks!

Absolutely great job! Very high quality work and willing to work creatively to solve a few tricky issues in an older home. Would hire them again for sure.

My wife and I bought a 32 year old condo and all seven of the original double-hung windows either wouldn't open or wouldn't stay open, so we decided to replace them. In searching Angie's List we discovered Jeff Fisher Windows; Jeff had by far the most reviews and highest ratings of any window company in eastern Massachusetts. He was also offering an Angie's List coupon deal at the time, so we called him. He answered our call and scheduled a time to meet with us a few days later. When he met with us, he was knowledgeable, professional, and personable. He listened carefully to our needs described the product that would meet our needs (construction, warranty, etc.). He was straightforward, honest, and trustworthy. No hard sell or up selling. His price was significantly lower than another quote. Jeff measured our windows before leaving. There workmanship was flawless. They used insulation in my walls cleaned as as they went along and were very professional during the process. Jeff did everything we discussed and more. I can't say enough wonderful things about him and his company. Hire him you will not be disappointed.

From start to finish Jeff Fisher Windows was a pleasure to work with. With Jeff's help we were able to choose a type and style of window that we were hoping for. The install went smoothly and efficiently. We were amazed that it took just one day to install all our windows. Jeff and his crew know what they are doing and make it look so easy. I thought Jeff was great. He returned phone calls, he gave me a fair estimate that matched the actual price of the job. The windows took longer than I expected to come in, but once they did, the job got done quickly. When they were done and I arrived home, the place was so clean, I was not even sure they had been here until I realized I had all new window. I have not yet gone through a winter with the new window, but hopefully it will be a warmer, less drafty affair.

The service was friendly and professional. Polo and Juan were a great team and they took care of the furniture in the vicinity of the install . Polo was very accommodating and answered all my questions thoroughly and showed me the work that had been done. The After the work was complete, Polo and Juan did a great job cleaning up. It was a perfect customer experience.
