Jeff's company had installed all new windows on my house about two years ago. Two of the windows were now having issues. Jeff came out to the house and repaired both windows free of charge as originally promised. Great customer service!

Jeff was very easy to get a hold of, and the estimating process went smoothly. He was very accommodating and I was glad he agreed to work on the unit, despite the fact that it was a smaller job. We had done research beforehand, and knew which windows we wanted. We had also read the reviews on Angie's list for Jeff and got quotes from other contractors. So I knew pretty much going in which windows I wanted, and that I wanted Jeff to do the work. He gave us a reasonable quote that included taking away all the existing windows (junk) and installation, and the windows themselves. You could definitely get window replacement done at a cheaper price, but we wanted Jeff's quality and Harvey windows so we went with him. Jeff seems to be in a hurry, so don't expect a lot of explanation/information from him. Despite some permitting delays, that were not Jeff's fault, the installation day went very smoothly. We did not stick around for the work, however Jeff's guys showed up exactly on time, and took only 4 hours or so to complete the work. The unit itself was very clean when we checked in afterwards. They did a great job making it look like nothing happened there that day :) On the down side, I was a little surprised with the amount of damage done to the wall and window enclosure. Some of the bigger dents were filled with caulking, which I found odd. I guess I just wasn't informed in advance how much clean up work there would be after the installation. I knew I would have to paint, but I also had to sand, patch, prime as well. I would definitely hire Jeff again although I would also arrange for additional help to touch up the windows too.

The owner was easy to communicate with by email and telephone. He and his workers showed up when they said they would. The windows appear to have been installed well and the clean-up was excellent.

The men working on our project arrived promptly and were extremely curteous, efficient, and competent. They answered any questions that I had and took great care to protect my furniture and belongings with drop cloths. Their work area was neat and clean when they left, and they even took the time to rehang my curtains (without being asked). I would absolutely use them again, and would recommend them to anyone!

Jeff replaced 2 windows for me with Harvey vinyl replacement windows - an over-the-sink window and a bay window in my kitchen. He also replaced a roof over the bay window. Jeff was the first contractor I asked for an estimate on this project. I also had estimates from several other contractors. Jeff's was the most expensive estimate that I got. Jeff was always on time and would call ahead when he was on the way. He was straight forward about explaining the installation process and pricing. He promptly followed up with a written contract. My impression of him was of someone who is very competent. I also had estimates from several other contractors including Pella and Rite. Pella and Rite would not even take the job because of what they said was a problem to replace the metal flashing between the roof over the bay window and the brick wall exterior. I followed up with Jeff regarding that same point. He told me that it would likely not need replacing, but if need be, he would be able to replace the flashing. Turned out that it did need replacing and the work was done without a hitch. I especially appreciated that Jeff would answer all my emails and did it promptly. It took about a month and a half from the day I signed the contract to the actual installation. The work was scheduled about a week in advance, though due to weather, it had to be postponed for a couple of days. The day of the job, Jeff called ahead prior to showing up and he was exactly on time, again much appreciated. The job took 2 days (day and a half in total), which was what Jeff estimated. Ninety percent was done the first day - the windows were installed and it was a relief to see the quality and thoroughness of work right away. The work area was covered over with rags for protection and afterwards left in pristine state; I did not have to clean anything. The windows look great and I am very satisfied with how the job went. I would definitely recommend Jeff.

Jeff fisher came out to give an estimate on removing all the windows in the house. He was very knowledgable about choices of products. He arranged for removal of all debris and waste. He ordered the correct sizes, he was here for inspection of windows as delivered, supervised his workers. He has great communication skills both with the installers and the customer. Upon completion he did a thorough walk-through to make sure all locks and hardware worked correctly and answer any questions we had.

Jeff was very responsive to my initial request for an estimate. I had to reschedule and he was accommodating. He came and measured everything and seemed knowledgeable. He send an email saying he would give us a quote as soon as he heard back from Marvin. He never got back to us so I emailed him 10 days later to ask for an estimate. I never got a response at all. I don't know why. Eventually we had to go with someone else because we didn't hear from him. I feel bad giving him a low score after all the high scores but for some reason we didn't get follow through from him.

Jeff was very professional and came up with great suggestions. He was very organized with his computer and printer and provided us with a detailed estimate on the spot. We received three estimates and went with the best price. His price was way better than one of those big stores. Overall, we liked Jeff and his professionalism.

We contracted Jeff to install 9 replacement windows in our home. He gave us an estimate, an approximate date of installation, and the time required to complete the job ("one day"). His approximate date was spot on. He called two days ahead of time and said someone would call about 1/2 an hour before they came. When the day came, we got the call, and the two-man crew was there within 5 minutes of the time they said they'd come. Before they removed the old windows, they placed sheets (tarps) on the floor at the bottom of each of the windows to be replaced, and threw debris away as they went. They worked very quickly, and cleaned up after themselves. Other than their excellent installment job, you never would have known they were there. What Jeff said would take "one day" turned out to be about 2 1/2 hours. His crew was efficient and did an excellent job. If we need replacement windows again, we'll hire Jeff again.

The work was completed in two or three consecutive days, on schedule. They swept my place out, left the key where I asked and left me clean new windows that I can, for the most part, still open with one hand 5 years later. A few weeks ago, after discovering that one of the windows wouldn't stay open, I contacted Jeff to ask him come repair it. He dropped by before work the next week, took the window out, and showed me how it had come off its "shoes". He repaired it on the spot and refused payment, saying he doesn't charge for service. Later on, I realized I must have damaged the window myself when I cleaned it, but I never heard any blame from him. (Note to self: Clean your windows more often so you won't forget how.) It was really a great experience to have a pro work for you, and I continue to enjoy my big, beautiful, top-of-the-line windows every day. The price was the highest quote I received, but when I saw the work of other contractors around my complex, I believe it was fair. Two or three skilled guys spent at least two full days on the job, and the windows themselves were expensive. Some of the other contractors in my complex raced to finish in a day, and left broken glass and scrap metal in the flower beds; some did not seal or caulk properly, turning an improvement meant as an energy efficiency measure into a pointless formality. Furthermore, the seals of some of the other windows in the complex have failed.

Great experience; from initial visit to to the actull replacement. The guys that installed the windows were professional and cleaned up afterwards. I like that they took time to insulate and put cooking around the windows. This may be standard practice but it it nice to see it done.

We had an excellent experience in every way. Jeff is courteous, very knowledgeable and professional. We were pleasantly surprised at how quickly he responded to our recent problem. There was no question about the windows being under warranty or anything of the sort. He just came over and fixed it!

Jeff came to the home and provided and immediate estimate. I wanted to make sure my son approved the price (though I was already sold.) 3 weeks later, Jeff came and installed my windows in 2 successive days. The clean up was top notch.

I will hire them again in the future.

Arranged a time for contractor to come and give an estimate to replace an outside door. He never arrived that day and never called to resechedule after I called a second time. I had taken the day off to get estimates for this job and two others. Do not appreciate the lack of interest. It would have been reasonable to tell me he was not interested in the job..

The initial replacement went very smoothly. Easy to schedule, they came on time, cleaned up after themselves, windows very well installed. At the end of the summer, when I was removing my window AC, I noticed that one feature of the windows (the jambs) was not correct. I had ordered wooden jambs, but the windows were installed with vinyl janbs. I emailed Jeff, who informed me that he would contact Pella to have it resolved. I didn't hear anything from Pella or Jeff for a month, but when I checked in Jeff assured me that Pella had been contacted. Over the next several months, I called and emailed Prowindows multiple times, but did not hear back. I was getting pretty irritated and mystified that Jeff, who truly seemed so reliable, would drop off the face of the earth and stop returning calls and emails. I later checked Angieslist and learned that Jeff had been ill, which in my eyes explained the delay and Jeff's radio silence. Just this week, Pella did finally come and replace my jambs, with Prowindows appropriately picking up the bill. While I would have appreciated hearing back from Jeff during the previous months, I understand that a health issue can really derail someone. So, overall, I remain highly satisfied with this company and continue to think that Jeff is a reliable, honest, and highly competent business owner of great integrity. I would still highly recommend this company to anyone interested in replacing their windows and I will use them again if I need more windows replaced in my home.

Overall, Excellent Job. Did not plan on replacing windows this year, but based on price, tax rebate, and cost to paint/re-glaze old windows (not to mention cost savings in heating bills), this was a great opportunity. Quoting was very professional, quick and easy. Explained options, which windows likely did not need replacing, and was NOT pressuring us into a sale. Only potential negative was that windows (Harvey Double Hung) took longer to receive in than the quote, but I suspect that that was due to increased production volume at the mgf to meet end of year rebate purchasers, like me, so I am not complaining. Installation was excellent. I did a walk around after the job was complete and noticed no gaps or holes in caulking, tightly installed windows, and no residual mess. It took their crew 1 day to install these windows, and we have already recommended them to friends. Great product, good price, excellent service.

We had used this company before, in 2008, so we didn't bother to get competing quotes for this work. Jeff came and looked at the job, gave me a quote on the spot which I accepted, and we scheduled the work. The door took a little longer than we expected to come from the supplier; otherwise everything went smoothly.

We had Prowindows over for an estimate on either August 31, 2010 or September 1, 2010. We started talking about replacing some of our windows and expanded the conversation to expanding all of the windows on our house. They took detailed measurements on every window in the house. During the conversation, we mentionned that we were thinking about adding a deck on to the back of the house. The estimator mentioned that they could build a deck, too, and took measurements on this, too. He spent close to two hours talking with us about the work we could do. I was excited about potentially working with Prowindows, due to their reputation for high quality, reasonably priced work. What has surprised me is that I never heard from them again. We left messages with them asking for their estimate on the project, but never received a phone call. It surprises me that for a company that receives such high praise, they would be so unresponsive.

I discovered ProWindows via the positive reviews on Angie's List. I met wth Jeff about one month before the project date to get a quote. Despite the fact that he was 20 minutes late for the minute (tardiness is major pet peeve of mine), I was impressed. Jeff explained the problems with my current windows and walked through the replacement process. He generated a quote quickly, and I chose him over the competition based on my initial impression...it was very clear he was straightforward and knew what he was talking about. The actual installation went very smoothly. I was worried since this was a 3-family rental property, so we'd have to deal with 3 sets of apartments/tenants. The crew was very polite and professional, and did a great job of not disturbing the tenants. They went to great lengths to ensure the apartments remained clean. This was especially difficult since it was raining during the installation. Jeff's team left the premises completely spotless. The project took an extra day due to the rain, but overall the process was very efficient. The new windows look great, and there was no touch-up work that needed to be done after completion. As part of our agreement, ProWindows was supposed to install screens on several existing windows that were an odd size. This was not done during the installation. I followed up with Jeff afterwards and he scheduled an appointment to take the measurements again a couple weeks later. Again, Jeff was about 20-30 minutes late for that meeting, but not a big deal. He took the measurements and told me he'd take care of it. It took a couple follow-up emails before the screens were installed. Jeff actually installed them about a week ago, but did not mention it to me until I followed up again. I was happy that he took care of it without having to set up a meeting, but would have expected some sort of call/email to let me know it had been done. Beyond a few hiccups, I was very happy with ProWindows, and would recommend them to anyone thinking about new window installation.

They took down my information over the phone (name, address, etc) and then asked me how many windows I needed. Upon finding out it was (only) 3, they said they were not taking new clients. I suspect what that really means is they're not taking new clients for smaller jobs. They suggested that I call DLM Remodeling.

When I called they told me that due to a busy schedule I would have to wait two or three weeks for them to come out. We agreed on a date and I waited... One day before the appointment they left a message that they are too busy and are not taking on any new customers. So they canceled after I waited several weeks, Reading through the reveiwsfo this company there appear to have been others who were blown off and this was later blamed on an illness. Whatever the case may be, and for whatever reason this company appears to be unreliable.

Jeff came promptly and gave us his recommendations and estimate on the spot. His company coordinated the work with the painter who was going to paint the house and do the prep work for the new windows. The new windows were installed perfectly and Jeff's advice about the color turned out to be the best choice. I would not hesitate to recommend Jeff's company and would definitely use them again in the future.
