We bought a new house with Marvin Ultimate replacement windows. The previous owners replaced all of the windows except three. I searched The List for a well rated local company who handels Marvin windows and found Jeff Fisher Windows. Paul came out to measure before we closed on the house as we hoped to have them installed right after we closed. We only had a few hours to access the house on a Saturday and Paul came by even though he had a prior family commitment. What service! Unfortunately the windows weren't ready before we moved in. But Paul called as soon as they were in and pulled a crew off of a large nearby job to install our windows. The crew was quick, clean, and efficient. They removed our three existing double hung windows and installed the new ones in about three hours. They cleaned up the mess and disposed of the old windows. I would highly recommend Jeff Fisher Windows to anyone else looking to install new or replacement windows.

The initial meeting was efficient and Jeff provided us with our estimate that same day. His crew were professional, clean and very considerate. When it comes to replacing additional windows in our home, we will be using this company again.

The job went perfectly. I felt like we negotiated a fair price with Jeff. His time was punctual and professional. The second day we were not home and felt completely comfortable leaving Jeff's crew with a key to finish the job. They even fixed a few pieces of rotted wood at no additional cost. If we ever have a window project in the future, Jeff will definitely be out first call.

We got quotes from four contractors for installing new windows throughout our home. We went with Jeff Fisher because he was very responsive, had a great deal of experience with installation, particularly in older homes (ours is from the late 1800s), and his quote was priced reasonably. He was extremely helpful on the timing of the installation. We had to squeeze it in before the imminent arrival of our first child, and he brought in extra men to make sure our windows were complete before we came home from the hospital with our baby. We had some small follow-up items for him, which he made sure were completed.

Jeff turned down this job and recommended another contractor

We signed with him but he hasn't done the work as yet. The quote was for $11000. So far he was really good, he came out early to meet with us before we went to work, he measured everything very quickly and efficiently, told us what we needed to know and he respected our time well, gave us a quote for a very reasonable price and he was very reassuring.

We are extremely pleased with the workmanship and professionalism of Jeff and his team. The workers called 15 minutes before arriving and the entire job was completed in 2 days (we were quoted 2-3 days). Additionally, after the workers left on the second day, we realized that they (and we) had forgotten about the entry-way screen door. I emailed Jeff to let him know and the workers were there first thing in the morning to install it.

We are very pleased with the job. Jeff responded quickly to our initial call, worked with us on selecting windows, installation dates and payment. The crew did a fabulous job-- they are very pleasant, professional and efficient. Everything looks great.

Called and scheduled an in-home estimate with Jeff for replacing 6-7 windows and entrance door in 2nd floor condo. He was timely and very professional. Reasonably priced compared to others. Opted to go with another company. Would definitely recommend to others. $4630 for 7 Harvey windows (5 double hung and 2 sliders). $1950 to replace entrance door with fiberglass model including some frame work for sizing needs.

We have used Jeff Fisher three times over the last five years - first to replace our sliding glass door, then our front door, then all of our windows. They have always done an excellent job, and Jeff always said that is work is guaranteed. When I accidentally knocked the window out, I was sure that I had broken it beyond repair. Jeff came over the next day, and fixed it in about 5 minutes with a new part. Not many contractor will stand by their work like Jeff does. Very highly recommended.

This is the second time in 5 years that we have hired Jeff. He is fast at responding and is helpful in finding the best solution for your job. He and his team are professional and easy to work with and do a great job. We would happily use them again and again.

Jeff's guys showed up on time and went right to work. The job was originally scheduled for 2 days, but they were able to complete it in one (with the exception of one window that arrived damaged). The only problem with the job was Jeff scheduled the final window to be installed on a certain day and his crew no call no showed. So I basically waisted a day waiting around for nothing. He did apologize and on the next scheduled day the window was installed without incident first thing in the morning. His crew is very polite, eager to please, and professional. I would hire them again.

He is absolutely great! He has a great attitude and he knows his business. He has a great crew that works for him. They come in, they are efficient, they do the job, they explain what they are going to do, they clean up, and they are on time. It's just a nice work environment. It's not like people are aggravating you when they are around. They do an honest work and they're really pleasant. I highly recommend Jeff Fisher.

Jeff's quote was fair when compared to several other contractors. He was prompt and professional, and gave me all the time I needed to ask questions about my alternatives. In our case, we decided to use more expensive wood replacement windows for 5 in our living room/ dining room - and less expensive vinyl elsewhere. Jeff's crew were also very friendly, professional and trustworthy. They left the place spotless at the close of the job. I found it interesting that when I looked at window alternatives at the showroom, the salesman asked who was installing. When I said it was Jeff Fisher, he quickly said that I chose a great contractor and would have no issues with the project. His reputation was solid even with a salesman who had no vested interest. Since the windows have been installed, we have noticed a big difference in temperature and quiet in the house. I recommend Jeff Fisher without hesitation.

Jeff (and his employees) have been the best contractor we have worked with 7 years into our first house -- an 1918 cottage requiring lots of work. The work was prompted by rot in the bay frames. We got quotes from 5 installers + 1 seat of the pants price review from a Marvin dealer. Jeff was the highest bid of those who visited the house. (Other than 1 used car salesman hard selling an extremely expensive and ugly product). We tossed out one low-baller that was thousands less but had a shaky history with us and was pitching Harvey vinyl windows. Jeff's bid was ~400 - 500 higher for Marvin, vs Andersen. (For Andersen his bid was closer to the others). The install was excellent. We had 3 very minor issues; 2 were promptly corrected, 1 was essentially invisible and inconsequential so we didn't bother with it. Quality was great. Walk through was handled well, including questions about how the windows worked and the alignment issues involved in shoehorning new windows into a house where nothing is aligned. Windows look beautiful. Jeff had suggested the Marvins over Andersen. We went with the Andersen until we got a closer look at Marvins and changed our minds at the last minute. Jeff took that in stride. We're super glad he suggested Marvin -- no one else had -- it was worth the money. Capping a great experience, several weeks later we had a finisher come in to stain the windows. They did a very bad job. One of the several problems was that they broke two sashs -- one easily fixable, one needing replacement. Jeff came out immediately. Fixed the fixable sash. Got a replacement for the other. Charged us nothing for the service and no margin on the part. We're totally impressed and hope to do the rest of the house with Jeff. (After the bank account recovers). Our only wish would be that Jeff hadn't suggested we get bare pine and have someone stain it, rather than more expensive staining at the factory. Not a bad call I guess, but it happened to work out badly in our particular case. The lesson we took away from it was that minimizing the number of contractors in a job lowers the risk. YMMV. In any case, my advise is: hire Jeff, he's great.

I recommended to my neighbor Fisher Windows, based on the reviews I saw on Angie's List. She is a senior citizen and does not have access to the internet, so I helped her by giving her 3 recommendations from Angie's List. She called all 3, received quotes, and decided on Fisher Windows. She told me they couldn't have been better. They installed 3 windows with half screens, replaced caulking around the windows which helped insulate the space, fixed cracks around the frames, and removed the existing windows and all debris. The crew showed up on time, did an even better job than she had expected, and they left the place spotless. They were courteous and professional and we would give them the highest recommendation. I hope this helps someone!

Estimate was provided soon after I contacted the company. There was a gap until the work was performed, but that was due in part to availability of the replacement windows. Installation took place exactly when scheduled. Workers were courteous and cleaned up thoroughly after the work. They explained in detail how to operate the windows. The price was right where it was expected to be, based on consultation with other contractors. I am very pleased with their performance and the outcome and would recommend them highly to others.

We hired Jeff & Co to replace all our windows 12 years ago with Harvey windows (25+ windows), which has been a great improvement to the livability and comfort in our house. Over the years we have had a few minor problems with the windows (a leak around a frame, the recent replacements) and Jeff is always as responsive and helpful as when we first hired him, even though we do not pay him for these fixes. I recommend Jeff and his crew 100% for their skill, knowledge, and integrity -- they will treat the job as if they were working in their own homes. Jeff is not a window salesman, but rather will give you honest information about the options appropriate for your home. It was a big investment to replace the windows, and it has been great to know that the job was done right and we can get help if we need it.

Well, I thought my storms were in tough shape and was looking to get them replaced with new Harvey storm windows. My house is 150 years old and I have original wood/pulley windows. They're drafty and I assumed my storms weren't doing a good job. Many of the storms have a small gap at the bottom, so I thought they were misfits and I needed proper fitting ones. I contacted Jeff for the quote and he got back to me right away. We set-up the appointment a few days later (he fit me in before he was heading off for knee surgery and even came out in the snow!). He was on-time and a pleasure to meet. Turns out, my storms are Harvey and the problems I was seeing (the gaps at the bottom) are the result of a less than stellar installation job. He showed me how to fix the gap, and made some recommendations on how I can get better performance out of my storms. I was (very) embarrassed to have wasted Jeff's time (I didn't know my storms were harvey already!!), but he was extremely gracious and if he was annoyed by my wasting his time, he didn't show it even a little bit. Definitely very professional. Had I actually needed new storms, I would have gone with with Jeff.

Jeff Fisher and his team of Polo and Dave did nothing short of amazing work. Our first experience with Jeff Fisher Windows came with Jeff the owner who was quick to respond, knowledgeable and courteous during the estimating phase. He arrived on time during the estimate phase, talked us through replacement vs new construction windows, and guided us to what we already new, that we needed replacement, not new construction windows, which saved us lots of money. During the work phase, Polo and Dave replaced our old wooden windows and storms with from 1948, with 19 Anderson Woodright windows with full screens, with two guys, in two days. Both Polo and Dave were courteous, clean, on time and just great workers. Prior to work starting Polo addressed all and any questions we had the day they arrived, he was knowledgeable about his craft and treated us like a true professional and addressed any and all concerns we had. At the completion of the job both internal and external areas of our home were cleaned spotless. These guys did an amazing job and we would recommended them without a doubt, they did great work.

Went great! Jeff has a knack for making things work, repairing rather than replacing whole windows. Will be using him again aver the years as the rest of my old windows continue to need attention!

Best contractor experience we've had to date (and we've had a bunch)! Jeff Fisher is a pleasure to deal with - prompt, very professional, to the point, not at all "salesy." Incredibly easy to deal with and very flexible too. The crew arrived on time after calling to give me a heads up that they were on their way. Both Paolo and the other team member (I never got his name...he was so busy working!) blew me away with how fast they got to work and completed the job. They left my house cleaner than it was when they arrived and were so nice, easy going with my kids, very professional. The windows are perfect - they open easily, are easy to clean and look great! I called Jeff and he was at my house the next day. He thoroughly walked through the house, inspected current windows/sills, explained exactly how things would go and provided a detailed estimate while at my house. The windows had a 3-5 week wait time (for ordering) and Jeff contacted me towards the end of the wait time and selected a time that was convenient for me (he worked around my schedule which was terrific). His crew of 2 guys, Polo and Dave arrived on time, dressed professionally and ready to work. Polo walked me through exactly what would happen and in what exact order. He was very very thorough, helped me move a couple pieces of furniture and re-hung my curtains once done. When I say these guys know their stuff, believe me. They split up as to not get in each other's way, and worked at such an efficient pace never taking a break or lunch etc. The old windows were stacked neatly outside the house near their truck and the house was never a mess the entire time they were there. They finished well within a day and seriously left my house cleaner than before they arrived. I can't say enough about the workmanship and professionalism shown by Jeff and his staff. In summary, I've used Jeff Fisher and his team for Storm windows 7 years ago, Replacement windows for half the house 3 years ago and Replacement windows for the remainder of the house in October and you will not find a better window company to deal with. Professional, dependable, experienced from the top down is the best way to sum up Jeff Fisher Windows. You get what you pay for and Jeff and his team set the bar high and delivered each time I've dealt with them.
