The inspection went well. The inspector was courteous professional and very helpful. During the inspection it was determined that since I had no actual water leaks or seepage into my basement that I had no need for the company's water drainage system at this time. It was noted that I may need the company's service in the future but not at this time. Since that time I have received at least 10 to 15 or more calls from various people still trying to sell me the company's product and services. Offering me deals discounts etc. Every time I received a call I let the people calling know the same thing I that I have noted above. The calls kept coming. I told the callers that I did not need the service and if and when I needed it in the future that I would call the and let them know. The calls kept coming. After several calls I asked that they take me off their call list. I was assured that they would. The calls kept coming. After several months if this i told one caller to take me off the call list and to note in my file tat I will never purchase anything from the company because of the way they harass potential customers. Believe it or not I received another call just last week!!! I cannot comment on the product or services because I did not purchase anything. But I will tell you I will never buy anything from them and will tell anyone who ever asks not to call them for a quote because they harass and hound you and do not respect you as a potential customer. I can only imagine what the experience would be once you purchased something from them. I had read online similar comments to mine before I purchased the offer on Angie's List but discounted them because they were highly rated on Angie's site. What a disappointment. Word of advice stay away from this company.

It went well. They gave me some valuable information about my foundation and basement. The only thing that I didn't really care for was that they tried selling me a very expensive dehumidifier. They later continued calling me and attempting to come out to assess my basement as if they had never been out in the first place. I'm sure that they are a good company; it just turns me off when a person or company is too pushy and this is how I felt with them.

Fast forward 2 months, the work is done by the second vendor, Busy Dog won't stop calling me! They told me they can give me another 20% off the price, but they need to come in and do another walk through on the property. I said no. Now two months later, their people are calling me TWICE A DAY. I told them to take me off their list and that I have had the work done. Doesn't seem to matter. I have also heard horror stories since from other people who have used them.

The evaluation was never completed. They were supposed to come back out to complete the evaluation after the technician consulted with the rest of their team. I feel like the deal was a waste of time. I have tried to reach out to them to finish the plans but have not been successful. They tried to schedule work to be done but I would rather have a set of plans completed first.

The technician was very nice. Scheduling an appointment was good. I did not peruse with them further since the job would have been too expensive.

I signed up for an inspection, but time was spent mostly demonstrating the company's product. I'm still waiting for a report on what issues are with respect to the basement.

Although the company called to confirm the appointment, they never showed up. No follow up phone call either. Why would a company want to start off a customer relationship like this? We will not be reaching back out to them.

They quoted me over $10,000 so I told them I was not interested and that it exceeded my budget. Since then, I have received non-stop calls on my cell phone, at work, at home, ect. The calls show up with no caller ID so it's hard to screen them. Sometimes there are several per day even though I have been told I will be taken off the call list. I have asked many many times to stop receiving them and multiple times they still come through on that same day.

I purchased an Angie's List special deal for a basement inspection as occasionally we have some spots of water after a heavy rain. The person who came to inspect our basement was fine, and they left a written suggested scope of repair work. That all went according expectations. Unfortunately, for almost every single day following that visit, right through today, I have received Spam marketing phone calls on my cell phone (given to the Service Provider in order to arrange the initial appointment) offering me special deals on basement drainage equipment and installations, despite asking them to stop. I've since gone on Google and see I'm not the only person to have this complaint. DO NOT GIVE THESE GUYS YOUR PHONE NUMBER.

it went well but was a bit out of our price range. he did provide a quote for just a sump pump which we might purchase down the road.

Too expensive ground better deal

I booked 1-800 Busy Dog this past Monday evening for an estimate for the job that needed to be completed. There was a no call/no show. My time is too valuable!

Per the service, we expected them to look at basement and come with options.

I just moved into a new house, and had BT system installed. The house I moved from had their system installed by the previous owner. For the entire 9 years I lived there, I did not have one single water issue. So it was a no brainer having the system installed at the new house. A person from BT came out immediatly, walked me through what they would do, and provided me a quote on site. I had the sales person drive back up from the South Shore the next day to sign the paperwork after I slept on the decision. Within a week, a team of 6 guys were at my house ready to go. The entire team was professional, courteous, and went above and beyond making sure I was happy. They even demo'd more of the finished basement subfloor than neccessary which reduced the work I was planning on doing anyway. Being on system number 2 and with BT for almost 10 years, I cannot recommend them enough. Here are the names of the people I dealt with. All bent over backwards for me. They originally sent a guy to do an estimate. He stated he would send us a report of what he found along with the cost. We never received that report. Now they call us all the time and tell us that they can beat the price on the report we never received. I have repeatedly asked them to quit calling me. I am not happy with the deal or the service.

They are thorough, knowledgable, and apparently competent, BUT they do not pour new cement floors on a dirt cellar floor like mine, which I need, and their price is high. So I will keep looking for a company that does the whole job, and, hopefully, charges less.

From the start this was a mixed bag. I purchased a Big Deal through AL on Feb 20 and by March 5th still hadn't heard from the company. After additional prodding through AL I finally got an appointment scheduled. The two gentlemen who came out were very punctual and professional, walking me through the process and asking a lot of questions about water penetration, etc.. After some time they emerged from the basement and started an iPad sales pitch. I'm in sales and at the end of a day I just wanted to know how long it would take and what it would cost, but respecting the fact that these guys are in sales and there day wasn't over yet, I let them take the through the lengthy presentation. 20 minutes later the price arrived. I didn't think that the price was unnecessarily high, and they did offer some financing options and an incentive if I'd commit that day or within the week. This is where the wheels fall off. I never heard from the rep again. HOWEVER, I've been added to their calling list and receive calls offering to come give me a basement assessment CONSTANTLY. It never ends, despite multiple requests to be taken off their list. I'll call you, guys. Please stop calling me. Combine that with the fact that the people who are doing their lead chasing are not remotely informed about the fact that they've already been out to the house and I'm reluctant to use this company.

Since installation, despite several wet springs (especially 2009) where our yard was flooded on three sides, there has been NO basement flooding. We had the job done right when we purchased the house. The sales person was on time, the estimate was acceptable, and despite a tight schedule, everything including a thorough clean up was done on schedule. Our basement floor turned out to be thicker then they had estimated, but they stuck to the price, and completed in time for us to move in on schedule.

It was just a mediocre experience. The technician arrived on time and did the work as promised, but there were some issues. Specifically, the company hounded me when setting up the appointment, and one of my friends actually found a leak in the basement after the technician had performed his inspection.

Awful. And now they keep calling me and harassing me from a private number telling me they will give me a free estimate.

Steve was very professional and arrived on time. He was knowledgable and provided excellent service. He did a thorough inspection of our basement and confirmed what I thought was our problem; high humidity.

They did a fairly good job. I have had some after things with them that were not great. They had one person to come out and quote what they were going to do, to take care of the water damage in the basement. They put in a drainage system with a pump where the water would automatically go and they did a good job of it. The guy said that he was going to do this and that but they did not do all of the things that they said they were going to. It was pretty expensive. My dealings with them post that was really bad because they were to come out and give us an estimate for a generator and then they canceled both the appointments kind of at the last minute when we had already made arrangements to be here and so when they called the third time I did not want them.

Well, it was discussed what could be done to keep moisture out and better air quality. Options were affordable, would use them again.

I want to believe that 1-800-Busy Dogg is a excellent compay and do good work, but trying to get a full refund to my husband's credit card from 1-800-Busy Dogg took a long time and I had to file a complaint on Angie's List before they provided the refund.

Initial visit was a sales-pitch (quick once-over diagnosis of interior only and description of system, etc). We did not act on this. Had follow-up inspection which was more thorough and complete. Not sure it's the system we need, but it was only going to help. Workers were prompt and semi-clean (they flooded my basement taking apart a heater which I told them would leak all over). Work was efficient; Need to return to run pipes under ground (ground frozen during install). Workers were friendly and price was right for the work. Would grade higher if there was a clear-as-day explanation of scope of work (we pressed and ultimately, went ahead with what they had described).
