Update: After I wrote the initial review Bill did come out and fix the work. We hired Bill to refinish the hardwood floors on a house we were buying. He did the floors in December right after we purchased the house. A few hours after he finished and left, I walked around to check out the floors and stepped in a wet puddle of the finish. I called Bill immediately and he said no problem, I must have put it on thick at that spot and he would come to take care of it. Within a couple of weeks he came back to refinish that spot. After he was done patching it, the floor was extremely tacky for days. I contacted him again and he said he must have put too much hardener in the finish and that is why it was tacky. He said he would come back and fix it again. Within a few weeks he came back out and refinished 1 of the spots that was tacky. He missed the other spot that was also tacky and needed to be fixed. I figured no problem, I'll call him again so he can come back and fix it. For the past 3 months I've been calling him every 2-3 weeks and he always says he will come back to fix it this weekend or next weekend and never shows up. It's now been 6 months since he originally did the work and I still don't have a satisfactory resolution from Bill. It's truly unfortunate because the rest of the floors and the few pieces of wood he replaced really do look wonderful. Because of the lack of customer service after he collected his money I can't recommend him to anyone. Maybe one day I'll finally get him to fix the floors or I'll have to explore legal options to get this matter resolved.

Bill responded to my request within a few hours. I sent him pictures of my kitchen floor and stairs. Quoted me a price from the pics. We were on a time schedule and he was able to do the job within that time. Bill came to our house with his man Bakari. Bill had hurt his neck and wasn't able to work but did get all the supplies. Bakari was a one man show. He got to our house around 7:30 am and worked until around 6:00 pm. He did an amazing job on our old pine floors and stairs. Thanks Bill and thanks Bakari, we will definitely be using your services again. We had Bill come back to put two semi gloss coats over the satin finish we originally went with. Him and his man Bakari were able to squeeze us in their busy schedule. Again thanks for another awesome job.

They did an awesome job on my old floor. It was covered in paint, they sanded it down and brought it back to new. It looks incredible! Highly recommend.

BEST PRICE AND QUALITY

Great experience and we love the results. It was a leap of faith as we had never used Home Advisor before. But, Gatt Floors are true professionals and really know flooring. The end product is great and working with them was equally as comfortable. They will be back as soon as I clear the other rooms of furniture. Very pleased!

Bill and team did a great job with our 19 year old oak floors that had seen a lot of scuffing from 3 kids, dog, furniture, etc. Bill's communication was clear during the estimate/booking phase and he arrived on time and finished on time. The upgrade to the Bona Traffic HD finish (optional) was worth it. Minimal odor and a strong finish. We opted for the satin finish which doesn't shine as much as some of the sample pictures posted here. Just a personal preference, but I think it will look great for years. There is a small amount of dust around the kitchen, but its not excessive. Fair price + great job +on time = highly recommend.

Very responsible. the man who came here on short notice worked on the weekend to get the job done. I have an antique home and added a new bedroom upstairs. The floors are crooked in an old historical landmark like this and he tackled it with pleasure and tried so very hard to please. I am very impressed.

Loved these guys! Super personable, very professional, efficient, and neat and clean. Bill was super flexible in working with me schedule wise despite his heavy schedule. I need to have some tile flooring replaced with wood in the near future and I wouldn't call anyone else! Not to mention, my floors look gorgeous!!
