Service provides you text, emails and or automated phone calls when your alarm goes off or when someone arms or disarms your system. Service also allows you to arm and disarm the system via the web or with our app for iPhone and Android phones. With service fees starting at ONLY $8.99 per month, why pay the big company's $30 - $40 for less features.

The company submitted incorrect contact information and alarm response procedures to the monitoring agency for my account. The monitoring agency is unable to modify the incorrect information, and I have contacted this company with repeated voice messages, emails, and support tickets to try and resolve the issue. After a month, I have received no response from them via any of the contact methods. They are completely unresponsive. I believe that there is only one individual associated with the company, Ed, and that he must have had some accident or fled the country.
Description of Work: Company is supposed to provide live 24/7 monitoring of my alarm system.

I placed an order online for a broadband alarm transmitter and one year of prepaid monitoring. I was charged in full on July 9th, the date of the order, even though the alarm transmitter was not in stock and backordered. Since the date of the purchase, I have received nothing from them. I have sent repeated emails, both directly, and using the web form on the site, and received no response. Finally, I faxed a cancellation notice to them requesting a full refund, since they have sent me nothing, and I have received no services from them. The fax I sent has my email address and a contact phone numbers, so they do have sufficient information to contact me. I have still heard nothing, and the charge has not been removed from my credit card. I will now have to dispute the charge with my credit card company since the company is totally unresponsive. The company has no contact information on their web site other than a fax number. I have an email address for them only because they responded when I asked before purchasing how long the alarm transmitters would be backordered. There are no email addresses and no phone numbers listed on their web site. This is no way to run a business, especially a security company, and I realize I should never have tried to do business with them. For a few dollars more per month I can deal with a professionally run and reliable alarm monitoring company. Update: The vendor has applied a credit to my credit card on July 23rd for the unshipped merchandise and cancelled services.

Still waiting (but already using up the one-year contract in the interim).
Description of Work: This online company sells a device to connect your home alarm to the Internet so that it may be monitored and controlled remotely. You must also purchase a one-year subscription which begins at the moment of ordering. So part of your one-year contract is being used up while you wait for he device to arrive and then install it. Only then can you go online and "register" the device so that it becomes useful. However, registration is not automated and apparently a human must intervene to complete this process. A turn around of one business day is promised after completing the online registration. That however was not our experience and it appears that Tuesdays and Wednesdays are not business days for this company. Meanwhile, our annual contract is ticking away with no usefulness to this point. Looking at the credit card billing there is a phone number but it seems to go to a residence and we are told that it is is a wrong number. Verifying the number with the credit card company and trying again provided the same results. It seems only fair that the one-year contract not start counting down until the device arrives and then a at least a "business" day or two be permitted to install the device and go through the registration process before the clock begins ticking on this contract - and then only if the registration process was indeed completed in one business day. Any delay beyond that on the part of the comapny should not count against the customer.

I do not see were you filled out the registration form so we can set up the account. Service starts when you order it because the factory starts billing us as soon as we program the unit before we ship it out. If we were able to come out and install it onsite then billing could start that day because we could program it onsite. However, because we have to program the unit before shipping, the factory starts billing us and we have to pass this along. This is stated on our website prior to ordering so it was not something you did not know when you ordered it. I am sorry that you feel like this, we do our best to make sure units are registered as soon as the form is filled out and submitted to us. If you did fill out the form and it still has not been registered, please email us at info@myvirtualmonitoring.com so we can check into it for you. I will check with the credit card company and find out what number they have, we have had this account for along time and our number has changed for the local number, however our 800 numbers are the same. As I said, I see were you placed the order but do not see were you filled out the registration form or contacted us about it unless it was under another name. Please email us if it has not gotten registered so we can get it set up for you and I will adjust the billing date if for some reason the form did not work for you.
