Description of Work: I had a "Big Deal" coupon for 2 hrs. of electrical service. They responded promptly and came out. I wanted an outdoor outlet installed, but the electrician said he'd have to run a bunch of extra things through my basement, and it would be $600.00 +. I have since been told that if there is an outlet on the inside of the house, one can be fairly easily put in the same location on the outside. I am sure he was being safe and doing a good job. But I was not willing to spend so much for one outlet, especially under the circumstances.

Description of Work: Jeff was very thorough with his proposal, performed various jobs on time and under budget, was clean and also dealt with local inspectors.

Description of Work: I had contacted Mr. Gromada through Angie's list "Big Deal". Mr Gramada arrived on time - I had asked him to replace a bathroom light / exhaust fan and to replace several overhead lighting fixtures in addition to a few other smaller electrical repairs. He was a pleasant and professional gentleman. He worked constantly and was able to solve one problem in partiular with regard to the existing wiring of the bathroom exhaust fan. He cleaned up after his work. His pricing beyond the big deal was very reasonable. I would certainly call Mr. Gromada for any additional electrical needs that I would have. I had a very good and positive experience with this company.

Description of Work: Jeff Gromada installed an elaborate chandelier for me. It also had to be assembled. He also repaired a ceiling fan. He's very professional, very knowledgeable, very efficient.

Description of Work: The lights were not working on a quadruple switch in our front hallway. One of the switches controlled our outside lights in the front of the house. Jeff found that one of the outside lights had gotten water in it from Sunday's storm and shorted itself out. He did all the necessary wiring and replaced the light fixture for us.

Jeff Gromada was suggested to me by several of the long term residents, I have used several electricians over the years, in a house for 20 years and in my present condo. He is the best electrician I have ever used. In emergencies, he has come the same day. His work and prices are extremely fair. I have recommended him to at least 10 or more friends and family and every one of them, without exception, called me to thank me for suggesting Jeff Gromada. He is the best. Description of Work: Jeff, the owner of Gromada Electric, has done major lighting jobs for me on two occasions and in each instance he was a pleasure to work with. On the first occasion he replaced old lighting fixtures and installed new ones. Recently, I had a new kitchen put in and Jeff did all the wiring for the new appliances, installed recessed lighting and counter lighting. He did a great job helping me decide how much lighting I needed and how it should be placed.
