I received a call back on this water heater install within 10 minutes of communicating my needs on a Sunday. Price was quoted real time and install scheduled for the following afternoon. Due to availability of my requested tank, install slipped to the following morning. Work was completed quickly. This was a marked improvement from my experience on the Friday before the weekend, when I called 10 other plumbers, looking for help. Only two answered to tell me they were too busy and didn’t want the work. One called back but couldn’t commit to a date to complete the work. I would definitely recommend M.A. Paone for your water heater needs.

Old Water heater failed on Sunday. Asked two plumbers Monday morning for virtual quotes. One couldnâ t do work for 3 days. Paone gave immediate quote (no add-ons, flat price for equipment and labor), and completed installation same day. He doesnâ t take credit cards, which is problematic for a emergency repair that is pricey, but service was great. He also helped us get a refund on the remaining warranty on the old (Home Depot) tank, which was super! I never would have known to return the old tank to Home Depot otherwise.

Would NOT recommend. Customer Service is non-existent. After many attempts to contact him to fix a problem, each time he has cancelled the night before or not shown up. Took 3 months to get a paid invoice from him so I could receive a rebate. Unprofessional and disrepectful of my time. He wouldn't give me a written estimate. He refuses to fix the problem, which is still not completed 1.5 years later.

Amazing service. I entered my info via HomeAdvisor and had a call almost immediately from Michael Paone. He came over on Saturday evening and the new water heater was installed the next morning (a Sunday). I will definitely call Micheal again for any plumbing issues.

Michael is very nice and good and fast worker. He is expensive but he gives me a good job. Certainly I’ll recommend paone plumbing to anyone who need a plumber.

We thought we had to replace our heater heater. It turned out that the pipe above the water heater was leaking. He replaced the pipe, saving us thousands of dollars. We highly recommend him as he is very knowledgeable and honest!

Mike and his crew are prompt & professional. On my initial phone call with Mike it was evident that he was extremely knowledgeable and provided a wealth of information and no-pressure options for our water heater replacement. Thankfully this was not an emergency, but Mike was able to fit us in right away on a day and time of our choosing. The crew showed up on time, removed our old water heater and our new water heater was up and running within an hour and a half. We had a minor issue with a kitchen faucet not working after the water was turned back on, and Mike was gracious enough to come right back out and take care of it. Price was very competitive. I would highly recommend this company!

I appreciated that the initial contact phone call was no pressure, and that I had time to look at different options before deciding to work this company. I also appreciated that Michael, the company manager, sees the value of providing excellent service as a way of cultivating an ongoing working relationship for future projects that will come up.

After my review below Homeadvisor contacted me and assisted me in having Michael come to the house to complete the work, once completed we asked him for an invoice. He refused, and therefore he took a $2400 rebate from Mass Save. He refused to give me any warranty on his work that took 3 months to complete. The system was never inspected, and we are not sure if it is safe for me, and my children. Regarding this, and they have not been helpful. If you read the reviews he has done this in the past, and this is concerning, to say the least. I would think twice about using this company.

Great service at an affordable price. Had a new water heater installed. Felt confident in the selection of the water heater and the workmanship. Work completed in a high quality way at about half the price others quoted.

This man is dishonest and manipulative. We have many many attempts to have him complete the job and provide a necessary invoice needed for our rebate. We have multiple texts with excuse as to why he is unable to come and finish job. We have had no heat in our house since he came the second week of March.

From start to finish Mike was upfront and honest about the best options to complete the job. He is extremely knowledgeable which made me feel confident he was the guy to hire. He went above and beyond and did more than what other pros were going to do at an extremely fair price. I would absolutely recommend Mike, he’s an expert plumber and great guy to work with.
