Mike was very quick to call, reviewed the warranty status of our water heater and determined that it was under warranty, installed the new unit the next day, explained how to maintain the unit over time and was helpful throughout the process.

Mike did an emergency "next morning" electric water heater replacement for me. Was kind enough to pick up the unit, as well as take away the old one. He gave advice on the system as well as others. Was a rainy day and they took care not to track mud through the house. And we had a fun time laughing and chatting. They were great and I would hire again no doubt.

Michael Paone the business owner was very professional, responsive, and courteous. He responded immediately and came out same day on a Saturday evening for our emergency water heater situation. You could tell he was very experienced and knew exactly how to solve our issues. Supplied us with our special needs light industrial water heater at a competitive price and problem was fixed by Monday. Overall good experience and would highly recommend him.

Service was perfect. My only complaint is that I never received a receipt even after calling and leaving a phone message.

Mike was great! Tried to fix my ailing water heater and even went back to the shop to see if he could fix it. But also laid out a plan if he couldn't fix it.

My last hot water heater died when it was only 4 years old. My current one is approaching 3 years old and it has never really been serviced by a professional before. I wanted a health check to hopefully avoid going multiple days without hot water again. Paone Plumbing was awesome. They were very honest in how to maintain a hot water heater, and it really does not require professional servicing unless you're replacing it. They actually tried to talk me out of the appointment so I could save the money! I'm what they call "maintenance challenged" so I wanted them to come anyway and give me a tutorial. They showed me how to drain it so that I can do it myself periodically to prolong the life of the tank. I will definitely be calling them when it's time to replace my tank!

He came within an hour of the call, in the evening. He did the job the next day. I will definitely use him again.

This job was extremely challenging and even frightening, as my 40 gal HW heater which failed, sits in a closet 9' above the floor. The prior HW tank had been installed improperly, plumbed incorrectly (the shut off also shut off water to my toilet tank!) making it nearly impossible to remedy in the tight closet. Micheel Paone called me within 30 minutes of my request on HomeAdvisor, and from that moment on, he was professional, prompt, direct about costs and timing and kept me in the loop several times on the status and arrival. But all that paled after having him in my home for 7,5 hrs yesterday. They left after 9pm. They had to go get more copper pipe, as he totally re-piped the closet, giving me a new shut off just for the HW heater, and much closer to the door for ease of use. The closet jam and trim had to be removed, as did the make-shift pan and vinyl liner. Most importantly, he inserted the tank 10' above the floor with all of the labels and access panels for service and maintenance directly in the front, not at the back where they were simply unreachable as had been the prior tank. His estimate was a 3-4 hr job, but once he saw the challenges of the space and the need to replumb all the lines, it became a 7+ hr job. I would recommend Michael and his team without any reservations. He is the best I've ever seen. He is a pro and is determined to solve the problem at the highest standard even if it costs him to do so. His concern for his customer and their satisfaction is uppermost in his mind. He lives the golden rule.....Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. I am so grateful. And he or his son will install my next HW heater in 6-8 years, of that you can be sure!

Did a great job with the water heater under fairly challenging circumstances: dirt floor, small access door.

I contacted Mike Paone Plumbing through homeadvisor on New Years Day. Mike was the 3rd contractor I spoke with. Mike was able to accommodate a new installation the next day, which was still considered a holiday as, New Year’s fell on a Sunday. Other contractors immediately cited an emergency response fee of approximately $200 on top of the quote for labor and new water heater. Not only did Mike not cite any emergency fee for coming out, but he was also competitively priced compare to a Home Depot subcontracted outfit and another homeadvisor recommended contractor. Mike also was very accommodating via text messaging by confirming and oordinating the scope of work by sending photos for an accurate quote and also coordinating the purchase and pick up of the water heater from Home depot, and for our scheduling needs. The install itself took only 1.75 hrs. Mike and his team were very courteous and focused on the task at hand and patient with me, the hovering chatty home owner. It gets better. In addition to all the excellent service, Mike took it upon himself to correct some plumbing to the water heater that was not done correctly. He pointed it out beforehand and did a great job getting everything up to speed. He also pointed out other things I should consider for future projects in order of priority. Mike did not charge me for this additional plumbing and did not want to accept additional pay. As a professional designer in the construction industry for 10 years, Mike is the type of guy you want to deal with: straightforward, priced fairly, and professional. I will definitely contact Mike again for future work.
