The team arrived on time, revived work to be done, and completed the work in a timely fashion leaving area neat upon completion.

They did a great job. They finished the job quickly. Their price was fair based on the other quotes. Overall, they were great.

I was extremely please with Jeff and his entire crew. They were professional and friendly, did a very nice job with everything discussed, and kept good communication throughout the project. Once they started, they put in long hours to finish the job quickly. I could not recommend Jeff highly enough.

We had our old underground garage (with retaining walls) filled in the previous year and because of this did not have outside access to our basement anymore. I needed a bulkhead, but was worried about having a hole punched into the side of my home. I shouldn't have worried. Jeff and his manager, Bruno, were great from start to finish. They had to bring in a Bobcat to excavate, cut into our foundation wall, pour concrete, build steps and add the metal doors of the bulkhead. There were a few things that I got scared of during the process and Bruno (bless his heart) was great about alleviating all my fears. One is that the construction was done in the middle of the 4th of July holiday and I was nervous about having a hole in my house until they came back from the holiday. Bruno took care of me. He made sure that everything was boarded up securely. I had no worries that the site was secure and well maintained before he left. We had no issues. The other item was that during the excavation the Bobcat did some damage to my driveway pavers and I thought, yikes, there goes my driveway, but Bruno assured me that it would all be fixed and he came through again. In fact, I would say, that even with all the excavation done for the bulkhead, they left my driveway and yard in better condition than it was before they got there. And I could not be more pleased. Added to all of this is that the crew was working in some of the worst summer weather I've seen. Extreme heat, humidity and monsoon like downpours at times. But they kept working during it all, and were kind and courteous. These are some real hard working fellows at this company. You can't do better than these guys.

After giving me a quote, they started exactly when they said they would and finished earlier than I had expected. The work was excellent. They dismantled the rest of the wall and rebuilt the entire section and didn't damage any of the trees or shrubs in the area.

Masonworks was excellent to work with. Jeff - the owner - responded almost immediately to our phone call for an estimate, showed up the next day at the time he said he would, and got back to us within a day with a quote. Then, when we contacted him again about a week later to come back and redo the design and add a walkway, he showed us nothing but professionalism and responded again very quickly. It was a busy time for MasonWorks when we decided to move forward with the work, but we needed the job to be done by a certain day and Jeff delivered on that promise - way ahead of schedule. The entire job was done on a Saturday - the workers were very professional and hardworking, and they left our yard spotless when they were done. We couldn't be happier with the outcome of the work and look forward to enjoying our patio for years to come. I highly recommend MasonWorks for any of your landscaping needs - we definitely will be using them again in the future!

Great work! The crews were very professional and worked with great skill. When something came up that required a change to the original plan or quote we were alerted immediately for approval (on a $30,000 quote, we ended up paying roughly $32,000 so there really weren't that many changes in the end). The patio is especially beautiful, with a special area built for grilling and a rounded end for our patio set. Every wall they built came with a drainage system, which is impressive. Our only quibble is it took about a week or so for the second crew that built the steps to come after the first crew was finished. In their defense, there was A LOT of rain, which is obviously beyond their control and you can't be using power tools in that environment. That said, there were a few days where it rained in the afternoon (but not the morning) or the early morning (but not the afternoon), where we were hoping they were going to come but they didn't. In the end though, this is a very minor complaint as BOTH crews did a GREAT job and we're very happy with the work. We have been getting raves from our neighbors for weeks now as the work is really beautiful. That is to say, in addition to being functional, everything they built simply looks great. They're a little more expensive than some of their competitors, but when you consider how amazing it all looks, I'd say they're actually a good bargain.

These guys are fabulous. Jeff was quick to come out and give a quote, very responsive. This was a large job, as we have lots of large retaining walls on our property. We were getting ready to list the house and they were able to expedite the job in time for our showing. We were told the job would be done in less than a week. It took them 3-4 days. They worked long hours and did a great job. The crew he sent to do the work started and finished on time and did a beautiful job. We had minor questions at the end and they addressed all of them. If we ever have to get work done on our walls again, we will use them. Due to this experience as well as some consulting that Jeff provided with regards to our neighbor's wall that adjoins ours, we have really grown to trust and appreciate his professional judgment and highly recommend him.

Working with Masonworks has been a pleasure. Jeff was very quick to return my call and came out right away to provide me with a quote. When work started his crew performed in a workmanlike fashion, quickly removing the material that needed to be removed and then building the new walls. The workplace was left very clean, they tried to do as little damage to the surrounding lawn as possible and all debris were cleaned up before the job was complete. The resulting walls and patio look fantastic and Jeff personally came out after the job was complete to inspect the property. I would certainly use them again for any hardscaping work.

After being in contact with three potential providers, we selected Masonworks because Jeff took the trouble to personally inspect the site and discuss the work in detail, at time of quoting. Throughout the quoting and job process I was always able to communicate with Jeff via telephone or email. When I gave the go-ahead to proceed with the job, Jeff gave me an accurate estimate of the schedule, and when the time came to do the work, he and his crew arrived exactly at the appointed time. The work was done professionally and as described in our discussions. I would absolutely recommend Masonworks and would do business with them again.

Jeff was very professional and knowledgeable; he pointed out several issues that raised my awareness of the scope of the work being done. Although I didn't end up hiring him for this project, I will consider him for future work.

All the work was beautifully done and finished ahead of schedule. They were very responsive to my questions. E-mail’s were answered immediately.

Jeff came out and spend a good amount of time going over the plan. Bruno came out with his crew and worked really hard and finished all in 3 days. Great job!

Did not use them as the estimate was too high

It went very well. We met with Bruno to go over the scope of work and he gave suggestions/options for our design to help us with pricing and aesthetics. We received a quote promptly and it was in line with other estimates we received and detailed enough for us to go over the scope of the work. We asked for clarification on some of the points to make sure our concept was captured properly and Bruno got back to us quickly. We were given an estimated time for the work to commence. I called a little before the scheduled date to ask if the work could be moved up due to some travel plans that I had and they accommodated us. They did the work amazingly fast and the quality was very good. We received compliments from an appraiser for our refinancing as he noticed the detail in our curved walkway. After they finished the work, after the first rainfall we noticed an area of our patio where the drainage was not as good as we would have liked. They came promptly the next week to fix it. The experience overall was very good and we would definitely work with Bruno and Jeff down the line.

In discussing the job, Jeff (the owner) was friendly, flexible and detail-oriented. He carefully looked over the site of the work. We discussed several options involving materials, the design and size of the walls, the type of mulch to be used on the garden, etc. Jeff was knowledgeable, creative and patient. After receiving his first proposal (which included photos of the type of wall he recommended), I decided to make some changes in the plan. He had no problem with this. One change involved the granite pillar. He had specified a particular type in the proposal that he would provide. When I found a different type that I preferred at a local company, he had no problem with this substitution and agreed to transport the stone on construction day. The MasonWorks masons are real craftsmen. They worked steadily from the time they arrived until the whole job was done ( 2 1/2 days). The walls are beautiful. They removed all the debris and did a complete cleanup. The head of the crew made a point of checking with me on several occasions when I might have a preference (positioning of the pillar, placement of the cobblestones, etc.) and to be sure the details of the work were to my liking. My total satisfaction with the job was a real concern to him. After agreement was reached, the project was managed by Bruno. We did a walk though before the work started and after completion. His concern was that there was no doubt about what I expected and what they would do. He was in frequent contact with me throughout the process on details, scheduling, etc. I am completely satisfied with MasonWorks and the work that they did.

I gave the highest ranking from every expect, and enthusiastically recommend Jeff and his team for any foundation work. I would say, they are the expert. Jeff is very knowledgeable. Before the work, due to the complexity of the job, I actively did my reading , and asked around for recommendation on how to fix the issue. Only to find: Jeff's professional view is far better. To be honest, the outcome of Jeff's work exceeded my best expectation !!! I could not imagine how the team was able to reuse the old bricks and stone and rebuilt the top quality foundation. I love it much better than any new poured concrete foundation, because the repaired stone foundation has its own delicacy hard to match by the concretes. Jeff's team works hard and does great work. They keep the timeline in check, the quality of the work is impeccable. I would hire him again without hesitation.

Masonworks promptly supplied a written estimate. Work was started and complete on time Company responsive and has great communication skills. I was totally satisfied.

Bruno responded promptly and visited the next day, and his written proposal was received that same evening. The price was reasonable if repairs were not possible and a substantial amount of sub-structure work would be required. It was based on demolishing the existing steps and re-constructing from foundation up. Foundation work would be extra. Another contractor was selected based on scope and price.

We were initially unhappy with the lattice that was added. However, Bruno and his team were extremely responsive to our concerns and came back twice to improve the work. Unfortunately, the porch was constructed initially without lattice in mind and this limited how good it could really look. But after all was said and done, we feel that we got the best possible lattice we could within the limitations of the space, and are very happy with the attention this project got from start to finish. The first floor owners added a back patio at the same time through Masonworks -- it is GORGEOUS. No problems there!

I Manage a small condo in association and I called Bruno to provide us with a snow removal estimate he came by in a week and email me the quote it was higher than the other companies but we the bad experience we had in the past with other companies we did not wanted to take the risk. This will be the 2 season using Masonworks but I can tell you so far they are the best company to work with they always respond are email or phone call right away.
