They were wonderful and excellent. They actually went down into their stock in the basement and they found identical door that I was searching for. They called me and told me if I wanted to have a look at it. They were very user friendly because they could have told that they couldn't replace the door and do anything and that I had to buy a whole new door. They will tell you anything you need to know about glass. I never knew about glass; how they hole the bore, put the wax and how it weakens the glass. They gave me a lesson which was really very helpful. I found them on Angie's list.

It went great! We weren't even home. Basically, we called them, their tech came by and they called back immediately with a reasonable estimate. We gave them a credit card to cover 50% of the cost. They ordered the glass and replaced the window from the outside while we were at work later that week. It could not have been easier. Highly recommended.

These guys are great. They came at 7:30 am to make the measurements because that was convenient for us. Communications were excellent - we knew exactly what was involved, how long it would take, and what it would cost. They came and did the installation exactly when promised, and they did a fantastic job. I'll call them again if we need another repair or replacement.

I called Arlmont glass to get a rough estimate over the phone. It was $500 although they knew that one piece was a special shape. They were able to schedule an estimate for the next morning between 8 and 10am. Two guys came, took the tracings and the measurements. When they saw the low coffee table it was suggested that I go with a thicker glass (3/8") so that it wouldn't be knocked off of the table. I was called later that day (11/3/10) with an estimate and was able the to use an Angie's list coupon. The total, including delivery, was about $770. I had asked if it was possible to have everything delivered by the 12th and was told they couldn't guarantee because it was glass and one piece had to be special ordered so until the glass was in the shop they couldn't give me a delivery date. I would have been satisfied with that answer but then, the woman from Arlmont asked to put me on hold, called up the place she orders from and told me that they said the glass would be to her Monday-ish. I approved the quote the same day (Wednesday the 3rd) and Monday morning (11/8) I received a phone call telling me that if I was available they could deliver it that day. The woman on the phone (I have to remember to get names next time) told me that she knew I wanted the glass and they had an unexpected opening. I left work, the guys delivered the glass and it looks GREAT!!! Thank you Arlmont for the fantastic, quick work. Everyone was super-friendly and the price beat other companies!

Called the company the week prior to ask about cutting a mirror, was told they could do the work and to call when I wanted to stop by. A few days later I called mid-day, dropped it off an hour later, and got a call later that afternoon saying it was done. They were easy to work and obviously did the job fast. Because it was only one straight cut they didn't even charge me! It is rare to get service like this these days. I am very impressed and will absolutely go back with future work.

My experience working with Arlmont Glass was very positive. I called on a Saturday morning, dropped off the broken window and picked it up repaired the following Monday morning. The associate I spoke with was polite and responsive. I was very pleased.

Overall, I would definitely recommend them. When I first called, they asked if they could come out that afternoon to take a look at the window. Once the part came in, they were very accommodating of my wife's and my schedule, guaranteeing us an early morning appointment so neither of us had to take much time off of work. They also did a nice job making sure the glass was properly centered in the sash (a problem we've run into before) and they left the area clean after the fix.

We took the screen in to them. They were not great, but they did the job. The screen was sagging so my husband had to take it back again. They made it right the second time and he wasn't upset with them. We don't remember how much they charged us. We have used the company before. We will use them again if we need to as they are pretty close.

They were very good. They were professional. We spent about $240. The quote was spot on; probably higher than the other companies. However, the fact is that they were way more responsive. It was soon after I called them, that they just came out and did the work. It might have been cheaper to get it done by someone else but they came out and did a very good job. They explained what they were doing and got the work done. It was a pretty hassle free experience. I will use this company again in the future.

Service and responsiveness was outstanding from start to finish. I asked if they could complete the work quickly so I wouldn't be without fresh air in my apartment for long and they had them ready in less than 24 hours. They said they "aim to please" when I dropped them off and they certainly lived up to their statement. I would definitely use them again and highly recommend them to others.

They came to the house to provide estimates within a day or two. Work was performed when promised. Quality of the work was great, and the price matched the estimate. They were very professional and answered all my questions. When the work was completed, everything was cleaned up and I was not left with debris to clean up and put out in the trash. I found their prices very reasonable - not always the lowest, but I believe it was the best value.

They were not as cheap as the person I used. They were very nice, cordial, and professional. The only reason we did not use them was because I used a different company whose estimate came out $200 less. Otherwise, my interaction with them was very pleasant.

They gave me a very fair price for the job. The person who came was very nice, and he was on time. They were very nice people, efficient, and they were very nice.

I called this company and one other for a quote. They sent someone out to look at the window on the day that I called them and gave me a quote the next day. The other company's quote was significantly worse and they didn't even bother to send someone to actually look at the window. Instead they just asked me for specifications on the size of the window, etc. On the day of the work, they were very courteous and professional. When finished, the pane looked good as new and fit in seamlessly with the rest of the window. Had to paint the sash myself, but it was very simple as the sit came pre-primed.

Better price than JN Phillips. This was not covered by insurance. Work was done quickly at 8AM, speeding me off on my way to work. Nice person at the front desk tracked me down in a nearby diner to tell me my car was ready.

A very good experience. I called yesterday to get estimates - Arlmont was the best of three, and they were very pleasant on the phone. Less than 24 hours later, the glass was repaired. The workman arrived on time, did a great job, left the area clean.

Based on previous ratings on Angie's List, I contacted Arlmont. They set up an appointment for an estimate and were very accomodating of my schedule. Dan came as promised, measured the window and sent me a quote within a few hours. I accepted it and the window was ready ahead of what was estimated. I then set up an appointment for installation. The installer arrived exactly when promised, very neatly installed (and cleaned!) the glass--no muss, no fuss. I'd definitely call them again.

They were very quick to come out after I called them. They did the job very well. They were professional. They cleaned up their entire mess when they were done.

I couldn't get an appointment for two weeks (which seemed a long time for such a small job but they wanted to look at it and give me an estimate). The appointment time (between 2 and 4 pm) was a relief because I didn't want to stay home all day waiting. Personnel arrived about 2:30. A well-done job and a great price. They sent a very polite and professional worker (sorry, I can't remember his name) who got the job done quickly.

They showed up when they said they would, gave me an estimate, came back when they said they would, and installed the glass and screens. They left no mess and the job looks good. Since the window was broken by a stray ping pong paddle they suggested putting in slightly thicker and more resilient glass, which they did.

They were very responsive, efficient, and did great work. When I first spoke to them they said it would take a week to get the windows replaced once they came out and took measurements. I explained to them that I was putting my house on the market and the open house was in less than a week. They understood my situation and were able to get a rush order on the glass. They were able to get the glass in two days and installed it the following day for no extra charge. The fact that they went the extra mile is what ensures that they will get my business again.

They were very responsive, came out for the estimate promptly, did the work on schedule. The work was expensive but competitive with another company that gave me a phone estimate. I hired them before I joined Angie's List on the recommendation of a company that installed windows for me.

Very happy with the service and work. A representative arrived within a day of my call to inspect the window and provide an estimate. He said they'd need to order the glass and would call back to schedule the repair when the glass arrived in about two weeks. They called back a week later and and scheduled the repair date. The repair man showed up a few minutes early and completed the work in about an hour. While there he performed some minor maintenance on the window casing at no charge.

I called a number of companies on Angie's list to fix a broken window pane. Arlmont, was the only one to return my call. They quickly sent someone out to provide an estimate, and the same day, called to schedule a date to fix the window. Arthur arrived on-time to fix the window and did so, in a quick and clean manner. It cost the same as the estimate, which seemed high for a small window pane, but at least it is fixed.

The worker was on time, polite and clean. It seem very pricy for the amount of time it took him (less than an hour and a half, closer to one hour)to complete the job.
