A representative met us at the house, quoted the same price as we had gotten over the phone previously, and was able to start the very next day. They removed carpet from several rooms, rolled it up, and piled it in the back (we had agreed to discard it ourselves). They sanded and refinished living room, dining room, foyer, staircase, hallway, and 4 bedrooms in 3 days. The semi-gloss finished result looks great, other than the many carpet tack holes in the stairway wood (nothing they could do about this).

I called for an estimate, they were able to come by the end of the week and promised to finish the job the quickest and at the best price of all the companies we called. The workers showed up within 15 minutes of when they said they would both days, and were very nice, but spoke very little english.

We bought a 50yo house and the floors needed refinishing badly. Mr. Lee answered my call directly and arranged an in-home estimate within 24 hours. I explained a time constraint of finishing the floors before we could move in to our house. He offered to begin within the week. His staff arrived 10 min early on each of two days, a Fri & Sat. They sanded the floors, applied 2 coats of stain and then poly. Everything was dry and ready on Sun night. The floors look great now. I was incredibly impressed by the price for this high quality work.

July 17th, 2008 customer. I would recommend Lee to anyone looking to have his or her hardwood floors repaired and/or refinished. We just bought our first home found hardwood under the carpeted stairs/ hallway and all three bedrooms. We called Lee on a Wednesday and he came out on Thursday for an estimate and his team got started on Saturday. They repaired some wood on one of the bedrooms and removed all of the carpet staples that covered the stairs and second floor. They even repair other section free of charge. They finished both the downstairs and upstairs on Tuesday and did a fantastic job. I own my own business and was blown away by the customer service/honesty and quality of work that Lee and his team provided.

They were extremely friendly and professional. They were nice to my dog and vacuumed the stairway on the way down. They were very quick and got the job done in a short amount of time.

I like them a lot. They were really great. They worked really fast and were good about sucking up all the sand and dust. They didn't make any mess at all.

They did a good job. I would recommend them. They guys were on time and efficient. I did ask them to make sure to nail the sub-floor so they don't squeak, but they didn't do that and now the sub-floor is squeaky. Other than that, the craftsmanship was good.

It went very well. It was easy to schedule the work. The workers came early. They sanded down the wood that had been under a very old wall to wall carpet on my stairs and hallway. Some of the floor was badly stained by deteriorated carpet padding. I had painted all the woodwork before the re-finishers came. The wood looks beautiful with two coats of water-based polyurethane. The workers cleaned up very well. They took very good care of my newly painted woodwork, with very few little places I needed to touch up with paint. This is the second time I have used this company for refinishing. I would hire them again because the work is excellent and the price is affordable.

They were hard-working, polite, and clean. The work done was excellent. He was precise on the estimate and i would recommend them to the moon. I was very happy.

They did a fine job. Mr. Lee was always available by phone and his crew was there on time promptly. The job was finished on time. Only two comments I would make. First, they did nothing to reduce the amount of dust or clean up afterwards. Second, I did all the pre-work for them by taking up the old carpeting, and taking out all the carpet staples and floorboards, yet they were resistant in helping by moving 3 simple pieces of furniture into another room to clear the room. I almost had to reschedule. I would just recommend to anyone using them that you are very clear about the scope of the work required. Would use them again though.

Mr. Lee was very prompt and professional. He was early for the appointment to survey the job (called first to make sure it was okay to arrive early) and his crew was a few minutes early each day of the job. They were polite, cleaned up very well after themselves (despite the mess that sanding creates) and finished the job on time and within budget. Mr. Lee called the day after the job was completed to ensure we were satisfied with the results.

Positive experience over all. very nice on the phone, showed up when they said they would. My only complaint is there are a few spots where it looks like the floor is wet. They were nice and affordable though.

They were prompt in giving an estimate and started doing the work the next day. They sanded and used a semi-gloss varnish in 5 rooms total, including the closets, front foyer and front hall closet. The whole job was complete in two days (1 day of sanding and the other for varnish). VERY nice results. The price was extremely fair for the job they did and I can't tell you how happy we are with the way it turned out! The only issue was a small area of hallway that connects the two bedrooms and bathroom that was previously covered with horrible 1960s (or '70's?) linoleum. Originally they said they could remove it when we got the estimate, but the guys that showed up to do the work said they couldn't remove it, that they don't do that sort of thing and we would have to do it ourselves. Unfortunately, we don't have the time to do it and have to hire another company to finish the work.

Great company. Came when they said they would, did a great job in record time and I am very happy with the results. Very competitive prices as well. A+.

No problems really. They were flexible with our scheduling since we had to move furniture from one bedroom to the other back and forth. Results were nice. Despite claim that wood would be flawless, there were of course a couple of knots here and there; not a big deal, as I know that it's from real trees. Sort of an amusing claim though. Dust situation in the house was managed well and reasonably clean. Only minor incident was that I found a couple of used cigarette butts in my driveway & lawn next to the driveway. Since August/September was unbelievably dry, throwing butts into it doesn't seem like a very wise thing to do, not to mention rude. That's the only issue that I have, and since I'm not saying anything about the floors, that's a good thing! I guess a quote for carpet removal would have been good, but the town charges $25, so really.

I was not satisfied with their work. First the urethane puddled on the floor. Secondly I asked to have semi-gloss and they used full gloss. Also I'm questioning how many coats I really need. The suggested only two coats but I may have needed three. All of the other floors in my house have three coats. I did like the owner, he was friendly or professional and one of the guys was arrogant. Everyone else seemed nice.

Very easy to schedule. Very responsive. Work was done on schedule. With downstairs, his guy forgot to tape mail slot & mail was pushed through door by postman right onto drying floor. He promptly came out & repaired next day and took full responsibility. Bit of a language barrier with actual workers, but seemed to have understood well enough to get the job done.

They were on time & did the job exactly as promised. The floors look great.

Mr. Lee came to our home on very short notice to give us an estimate. He was very knowledgeable and professional. For various reasons we needed to get the work done quickly, and he was able to accommodate us with no problems. His team arrived 3 days after we agreed to the price, and completed the entire job in 3 days. The floors are beautiful! The work they do is of the highest quality. I recommend them to anyone who is looking for great work at a reasonable price.

I would recommend them for something that quality is not the prime concern. One of the quality issues is as the got close to the end of the floor they group small pieces of wood together (so there was approximately six small pieces in the same small area). On the first attempt, they did not sand the floor adequately so the stain they applied was not uniform and did not absorb well. I request they re-sand the floor. We reapplied the stain with no further difficulties.

The floors came out beautiful. The section of the floor that I was concerned about which needed to be repaired before refinishing came out great. Tom returned my calls promptly, even upon finishing the job, I had concerns about bubbling that appeared on one of the bedroom floors. He called me back immediately to reassure me that it was normal and that to call him back if I wasn't satisfied. Definitely would use him again.

These guys were OK. The job was not easy because of the glue on the kitchen floor, but frankly I expected the quality to be a bit better because of the company's overall A rating. The first time they did the porch there were visible sanding circles on the finish and I asked them to fix it. They were very prompt and fixed it within a day (sanded it down again and applied new coats). So I appreciated that. The kitchen floors look pretty good, but certain areas like the corners are not as smooth and some circular marks and nail heads are visible. They also don't do any cleanup of dust on the walls or remove any of the trash. Just be aware of that. This took us several hours to clean.

I called Lee's company to see if someone could come out to give me an estimate for how much it would cost to do my entrance way/hallway. The person who answered asked me how big the entryway was so he could give me an estimate over the phone. I said I could make a rough estimate but wasn't sure because of the shape. I also explained that there was a carpet over the floor. He said I would have to remove the carpet to tell him what condition the floor was in order to get the estimate. I then explained that I didn't know enough about wood floors to really assess what condition it was in and that I'd rather have someone come out to do the assessment and give me the estimate. At that point he told me that he only does entryway/hallway estimates over the phone because those areas are too small to send someone out in person. For me, that was the end of the conversation and my business.
