Bad. Never again.
Description of Work: My furnace was broken on one of the coldest nights of the year; it was about 10 degrees outside. I called Rodenhiser and had a "live" chat with their computer in which I gave all the pertinent information needed for someone to call me back. This was at approximately 7:00 p.m. Rodenhiser's return call came the next afternoon at 1:00 p.m., eighteen hours later. Eighteen hours later!! Before I had called Rodenhiser, I had called another company at about 6:45 p.m. and spoke with an actual person. She passed on my message and within one hour, I got a call from the tech who then came out five minutes later to diagnose and repair my furnace in only 45 minutes for a very reasonable fee. He was super knowledgeable and professional and works for a well-known company in the area. My point here is that with Rodenhiser, I had to communicate with a computer, not a human, and it took 18 hours (!!!!!!) to get a response from Rodenhiser. Very unprofessional.

The live chat is an additional option for customers that prefer a message based chat interaction but it is not in place of speaking to our team directly over the phone. The live chat agents are real people not robots or computers but we will make sure our live chat agents direct emergency scenarios to our phone line to page the on call technician. Our average response times are typically within the hour but we will make sure to use your case as an example to improve our process so no one else shares a similar negative experience.

It didn't go
Description of Work: We made an appointment and specifically told them we had an oil burner. They came within an hour , which was good. The guy showed up and said we don't service oil burners. Then he said he would charged $360 and didn't care whether he did it or not. Not customer friendly. We have never paid over $225 and we service it about every year to year and a half.
