McGee Toyota

I made an appointment to test drive a car. Half an hour before I was leaving, someone called to say that the car had been taken to the autobody shop, but there was another of the same model I could drive. I went there only to find that the other car was up on the lift with its wheels off. So I drove all the way there and put myself at risk for nothing. Also, the sales people were wearing their masks down around their chins or off their noses, so the safety factor was very low. Don't go there.

My car is beyond the warranty. I can't remember everything, but they definitely did a checkup and oil change. The workers were nice and genuine.

Recently I had a problem with brakes; I had to have brakes done. As for quality, the brakes are still working. I haven't had any problems with the brakes. I only go to the dealership every 30,000, 60,000, 90,000 miles unless I have something in the mean time.

My operating rule is I just go local for oil changes and I take it in to the dealer for the 30,000 mile check. Every 30,000, 60,000, 90,000 miles - I take it to the dealer.

Very high pressure experience. They told me they would honor a TrueCar price that I printed from the web. They then said that price did not include an $895 destination fee. That was added to the price I paid. Upon further research it is clear to me that the price did include the destination fee. I got a 63 month loan. Ever hear of a 63 month loan? Neither have I. They sold me a non Toyota warranty without telling me it was not a Toyota warranty. (They did swap this out after I complained.) They took a trade on a car that was owned jointly without getting the co-owners signature. I think that they didn't want my wife to question the TrueCar price. The RMV has advises that it was done improperly. I am extremely displeased. There must be better choices.

Provided onetime and under estimate service to my truck and did so in a timely and professional manner.My hats off to the Service Manager Brian Davidson who always goes out of his way to greet you and makes you feel like your their only customer.I always use McGee for service even though I no longer drive a Toyota.

Fine. They did everything that I requested.

They seemed to be honest and no nonsense people. They typically fixed any problems that I had and so their expertise and skills are very good. They are a little on the higher price side. I can put my trust in them a little bit more. I am pretty happy overall with what they do. The scheduling is fairly reasonable like the next day or so. They have the courtesy van.

Set up date promptly for maintenance work. Did all work except had to go back for new Michelin tires that they ordered and got a couple days later. McGee has kept all my Toyota's and recently purchased used 2006 Lexus in tip top condition. Purchases from them include the Sienna van, Rav4, Camry, Hilander and Lexus RX330. They have a courtesy van to take you to restaurant or mall while you are having repairs done. Costs may be higher than your local garage, but since 1998, I've had my trust in them. They've always have answered my questions honestly and done good quality work - done right the first time, so I can get back on the road in a reliable vehicle. Our 1998 Sienna van is still on the road and running great - my wife won't give it up.

I need a car for my son to drive so he can stop borrowing mine. We searched on the web for some time and found a used car that he wanted at McGee Toyota with an online listed "Our Price" that was $8,472, a good deal. When we arrived at their lot, the price on the windshield was ~$2,800 more than the price on their website. When questioned about the difference the salesman stated that the price on their website isn't the price of the car, it's McGee's cost of acquiring and prepping the car, and that the real price is always higher. I do have to say that, once he pointed it out to me, there is some print at the bottom of their site that says: "Prices reflect Dealer Cost. Mcgee expects to make a reasonable profit." I certainly don't have a problem with them making money, but we drove 30 miles each way lured by the low posted price and would have contacted them first to get the real price if I had known their definition of "Our Price". Their salesman called me the next day since he knew we liked the car and had me look at their web site to point out the clause. To my surprise just before he called me they had changed the on-line "Our Price" to $10,999. When questioned about how their acquisition and prep cost could have gone up $2,500 in a day he didn't have a good response. Needless to say we didn't buy the car and won't bother driving back to Hanover.

We've bought cars and had them serviced there for about ten years. Our cars are under warrantee there and even if it isn't, we like taking it to people who know this kind of car.

They have been available when I need them, they have worked quickly and efficiently. They keep my car in good shape.

I would be happy if my dealership was more convenient in terms of location would be nice. They did a good job for us. I have no complaints. They seem to be very good with us in terms of communication. I like that very much.

ALL PERSONNEL ENCOUNTERED ARE EXTREMELY POLITE. PRICING HAS BEEN REASONABLE. MOST JOBS WERE DONE EXPEDIENTLY WHILE I WAITED, EVEN WHEN SHOWING UP WITHOUT AN APPOINTMENT. THERE NEVER HAS BEEN ANY PROBLEM WITH THE WORK PERFORMED ON THE VEHICLE. VERY HONEST AND PROFESSIONAL.

I CAN ALWAYS GET APPOINTMENTS. THEY USE PAPER FLOOR MATS. MY SEAT IS ALWAYS WHERE IT BELONGS.
