Affordable Tile and Grout

Awesome refresh to my bathroom. Old caulk was discolored and yuck. Ryan was responsive, quality work & offered great suggestions. Will use him again!

We have used Affordable Tile & Grout on multiple projects in our home. Ryan is knowledgeable, punctual, cost-effective and ALWAYS does a fantastic job - going above and beyond the typical contractor! Ryan and his helpers did an excellent job. Much time was spent on layout, cuts were done very carefully and final product looks outstanding.

Ryan is an amazing tile guy. He's fast, clean, and detail-oriented. We were unsure about how to do the pattern on the bathroom floor (offset or not). He gave great advice and helped us decide. Then he did a great job installing. We had a broken floor tile on the kitchen floor that had been driving me crazy, but I didn't know it could be fixed. Ryan explained how he would do it, and we liked the work he did in the bathroom so we brought him back to fix the floor tile. He did a terrific job - you can't even tell a repair was done. He even re-grouted our kitchen backsplash while he was here. Highly, highly recommend Ryan!

EXCELLENT JUST WHAT THE DOCTOR ORDERED

Ryan was incredibly helpful--for free! I told him another contractor had given me an estimate and he needed me to decide quickly whether or not to go with him. I liked the other contractor and wanted to stay in his good graces for a different project next spring, but wasn't sure about the price. Would Ryan come give me an estimate, too, since he got such great reviews on Angie's List? I read Ryan the scope of project, work to be done, and amount to be charged. He said that he would charge about the same, and explained that the guy was going about it the right way, where a lot of people would not have. He suggested I just go ahead and work with contractor #1. Wow, did he save me a lot of time and put my mind to rest!

Ryan completed replacing wall tile in our bathroom this week. This man is a true honest, skillful professional and a great man. My wife and I are very impressed with his workmanship and attitude. When I originally called him he came to our house very promptly to give us an estimate for the job, which was lower than the company I had originally planed to do the job and had taken two weeks to show up at my house. Ryan's pricing is very affordable. He did a fantastic job for us. WONDERFUL WORK!! He gave me great suggestions on how to do other work that I may try to do myself. He shared a couple of his "tricks of the trade" with me. I have already recommended him to some of my friends. I am so satisfied with his work, I now plan to have him replace the tile in a second bathroom in September. I am truly convinced I chose the best man for my project. He has earned my respect and I believe he should be chosen by anyone who needs to have tiling done in their home or business.

Ryan is one of the most responsive people I have ever worked with. Even though my job was not a large one, I always felt I was as important as any of his other customers. My job was priced reasonably and scheduled quickly, soon after my new countertops were installed. The job went smoothly and during install, I was impressed by the attention to detail and “getting it done right” attitude. When we decided the edging I had picked out wouldn’t look good on an awkward corner I had, Ryan was prepared ... he had bullnose tile with him that matched my large, white beveled tile perfectly! The backsplash is the perfect finishing touch to my updated kitchen. Based on this job, I am planning on hiring Ryan for some power washing I need done and hopefully more jobs in the future.

A very large job of 750 square feet of porcelain tile for my basement project went off without a hitch. I can't say enough about the quality and professionalism of Ryan and his crew. Ryan did an fantastic job repairing a broken and rotted out shower bench. The original job was done wrong, and he gutted it and built a new stone bench for us that absolutely looks original. Most tile guys would not take this job, but he did and we're very glad he did. While he was at it he fixed a few other issues in the shower before they became problems for us. This is the second job Ryan has done for us, after doing our kitchen backsplash. Both jobs look perfect, really nice, and the price was fair. I will definitely be using Affordable for all my future tile work.

I used Ryan on two separate occasions. He priced the jobs reasonably, arrived when promised, was neat, and completed the jobs in a professional manner. He was proactive in pointing out potential problems and clearly was focused on customer satisfaction. I would use him again.

After reviewing tile installers on Angie's list and other sources decided to hired Ryan to install a subway tile back splash in kitchen. Ryan did not disappoint and as all of the other reviewers reported. Working with Ryan was abosultely the right decision. He got right back to me the evening I inquired about getting some pricing. He always got back to me that day either late afternoon or early evening every time I sent him an email. That in itself is refreshing from a contractor. Sent him some pictures of the kitchen and he gave me a quote via email which I thought was very fair and fit our budget. Due to some travel plans had to change the original dates until mid September. This was not a problem. And once again, the communication was timely and concise each time. So, Ryan arrived on time and completed the job the other day and everything looks great. Set the tile the first day, and then came back the next day to do the grout. He really takes pride in his work and is a real craftsman. As a added bonus, Ryan is just a good guy, very personable and easy to work with. He also made some suggestions that we plan to have him do when he returns to clean the tile floors in our kitchen and bathrooms next month. So, as the other reviewers experienced, I also would highly recommend Ryan Labbe of Affordable Tile and Grout. The whole experience was all positive !

We originally called Ryan to install subway tile in our bathtub surround. The rest of the bathroom looked awful in comparison so we had him come back to tile the rest of the bathroom walls and tile the bathroom floor. The job entailed removal and disposal of the old wall tile and linoleum floor, leveling the walls and installing a sub floor, installing new tile and grout, and clean up. We couldn't be happier with the work done. With an old house we always need to find people who are craftsmen. Ryan is just that. Affordable, punctual, clean and has an eye for detail. When we add another bath, we will call him to tile it!

It went very well and we're very happy with the end product.

Ryan is great to work with. He communicates well and is very responsive. He knows everything about tile. He came in with his "professional eyes" and saw immediately our areas that needed work. He also noticed areas not in the scope of work and touched up those areas as well. He corrected poorly installed tiles. He rebuilt the base of our shower stall that saw signs of water damage. All of these areas of failure were installed by someone else. Our tile work looks like new again. He did a great job. If you have tile work to be done, new or repair work, call Ryan.

Everything went well. The guys did a great job spacing out the tile perfectly and they spoke English so I could properly communicate with them what we were looking to do.
