HONDA NORTH

Test drove a Honda Pilot on Monday came up to buy it on Tuesday. Honda North dropped the advertised price by $500 between Monday and Tuesday and charged the prior price. I've been taken for $500. Thank you Honda North!

We have two new cars. They are still under warranty. They are really good. We've bought five cars from them over nine years. I already knew what car I wanted. It went fine.

I purchased my cars from them. Therefore, I'm getting free oil changes for two years. I will have four free oil changes by then. The wait was not long. I am in and out. I dropped it off and went back and picked it up. I don't live far.

They did very well. Its a dealer, its not the cheapest, but everything else is excellent. The work takes shouldn't take more than an hour for that low level maintenance. The workers are top marks, very professional.

I bought my car new from Honda North and I'd taken it there for service for about the first 9 years. I needed brakes and since I had the airbag recall I thought I would take it back there. A got a call from the service agent, Dave, telling me that there were lots of things wrong and he wasn't certain if it was worthwhile (read, buy a new car). This irritated me since I went in with a very specific list. He told me that the list of things that needed work would cost $6300. I asked him how much for the brake job and he told me $2900. He told me that both front and back brakes needed new rotors and pads, which I expected, but then he told me that I needed 4 new calipers. I had a male friend who is a gear head call them and they were polite but gave him the save BS. First I told them to go ahead because I was leaving on a trip and then I decided to change my mind. I called back within 30 minutes and left 2 messages. Finally, I called on another phone and they answered. They told me they might have started so I told them to put it back together and I'll pick it up. I wrote to the general manager and got no response. I picked up the car and drove it to a ship recommended by my neighbor. The cost of the new front and back rotors and pads and the repair was about $650 and they didn't need to replace the calipers! I also asked them to look at what else needed repair so they replaced the valve cover gasket, the oil pressure sender and the sway bar links and the entire bill came to $1019. I'm never going back to Honda North. I paid them $149 for whatever labor they did.

I would NEVER use this dealership again. They overcharged for simple brake repair and they gave us a rejection sticker on a 4 year old Honda minivan. Why did they they reject the sticker. Was it something a dealership couldnt fix. No we had a battery replaced during the year - but not at the dealer - and they forgot to reset an indicator. The dealership could have fixed it but chose not to because they didn't replace the battery. I will not use the dealership in the future and I will spread the word. POOR SERVICE DEPT - DONT USE THEM.

They always do exceptional work. They make it really easy. They have express service so they'll come out to you to drive your car in. You don't have to get the - they have you registered so with just a bit of information, they can get all your information with all that. Each time you go in, you just show up, park your car and they take care of everything. And they give you a cup of coffee while you're waiting. It's just a nice thing to do.

The quality of work performed by Honda service is excellent. In March, we purchased our third car through the dealership and we continue to have all work performed by their service department. For the purchase earlier this year, the sales and financing process was seamless and very easy. The salesperson did not try to sell us any unnecessary options and in fact suggested we not purchase a particular item. They worked with us to keep to the price point that we wanted in our budget. Recently we had a repair done on the older vehicle that cost approximately $800 and it was actually less to have it done through their service shop than a local auto body.

Helped me out by finding a used part, but still pretty expensive

We purchased our Honda Accord and Civic at Honda North. This service was for the Accord, but we take both vehicles there for maintenance and service. The maintenance and service pricing is typical for a dealer - a bit on the pricey side, but they are consistent and reliable and we know when we want to get another car, they'll have record of the service. They are efficient and close the service with a car wash.

The service was completed in 20 minutes. Good job and service all around.

Went in for oil change = was told it would be 45 min and was out in 30 - comfortable waiting room - cleaned inside and outside of car - a little expensive but worth it for the service an extra set of eyes on the car of my car

I drove in and the staff were ready to receive me in the service bay in a timely manner. Got a coupon for a free cup of coffee or drink as I waited. I took a coke and sat to watch TV. Within a few minutes of waiting, they called me that my car was all set. I have a Honda Odyssey which I've always taken for oil change and maintenance service at Honda North for the last seven years and have always enjoyed the services I get.

Their pricing was high. Honestly, I felt they were playing games with everybody. If you traded a car, they try to give a lower one than what you traded in. I probably never go back there.

They found the exact color that I wanted. They did a good job and I would use them again.

It was a bad experience, because I didn't feel that they were honest. They seemed to find additional problems that didn't really need done. I would avoid additional maintanence and warranties that they suggest. Sometimes the repairs are not necessary, and they just try to upsell you.

They have express service where we don't need an appointment to get in. We spent $140 on the last service there. They were good and we did not find them quite as friendly maybe, but it was a busy Saturday morning. It was quite chaotic there, but they did a good job and got everything done pretty quickly and we were pretty happy with them.

Honda North's service department is second to none for routine maintenance. They are fast, courteous, professional, and do a lot of the small things that people don't necessarily expect (vacuum, wash your car). Their express service got me in and out of oil changes in under 30 minutes, and in one case, within 15. Their waiting area is comfortable, with a cafe, magazines, television, and free internet access. The free soda is a nice touch too. Their price for an oil change is slightly higher than competing dealers, but I found the convenience of Honda North to be well worth the extra few bucks. I was actually disappointed when I traded in my Honda for a Toyota and stopped going there for service.

Honda North is the ONLY dealership I'd revisit to buy another car from. It was the first pleasant experience I've ever had buying a car. At no point through the entire process did I experience any of the usual pressure and deceitful practices (add-ons, warranty extensions). Every service diagnosis and repair was done honestly. Get luxury car service without the luxury car price.

Overall very good experience at Honda North. We test drove the Pilot approx. a month prior to purchase - absolutely no high pressure sales pitch after the test drive - just a question on our timetable to buy and then a follow up letter by the GM. No sales calls at all - which is a huge plus after a test drive in my opinion. We then made the rounds getting quotes from local dealers and Honda North met the lowest price and had a color in stock we wanted. There was a slight delay on accessories we wanted added but overall not too bad. Minor annoyances - Finance Office - will try to sell you everything under the sun. Also, during the delay for accessories they didn't get the inspection sticker/registration taken care of which will require a return trip (seven day grace period in MA to drive without it when transfering plates). Nobody is perfect but overall despite a couple of minor things - I would recommend them.

Our car is only 2 years' old, so they do regular maintenance and checkup for our car. They are very punctual. I don't need an appointment to go there because we don't have any major repair work. They do their work very fast.

I went in for a tune up and a repair to my dashboard.
