Just beautiful. It was a huge job that was very complicated and required pulling a lot of old pipes out. Everything they did they explained to us before they did it. This was our biggest remodel in this house, and the fact they explained what they were going to do and why it was suppose to cost so much on every step of the way. They were not the cheapest. We are always willing to pay a little more to get the best work and that's what we got.

Very well. They were prompt, considerate, and did a very good job!

I didn't find them on Angie's List. I have been using them for 30 years. They are very fair. I kept them around for 30 years for a reason. They do all the emergency stuff as soon as you state it.

It went very well. I am a regular customer with Kirkland and Shaw and have always been satisfied with their response and work.

They charged us for an hour. They charged $150 an hour. I have used them quite a few times since.

Person from Kirkland and Shaw Inc. (Andy) came over to fix an issue with pulsating water in 2 showers. It took me 5 min. to explain the issue, and took him another 10 min. to replace both shower heads. The water flow was now better. He stayed a total of 15 minutes. Later, I get a bill of.... $220! So the plumber was working at a rate of over $15/minute! Great part of their scam tactics is they are not telling you how much it is beforehand. I didn?t get a chance! Before I knew ? the 10 minutes was over! Their ad claims ?Free estimates!? ? That?s a lie. The invoice says "Material (2 shower heads): $76" ? That?s another rip-off ? the real price is about $26. I found online the exact SAME shower head at both Home Depot and Amazon for $11 (instead of $38). So, they ripped me off $50 only on material. Assuming the shower-head price difference could be an honest mistake, I called their office. Person on the phone, Paul, turns unfriendly as soon as he learns the reason for my call. His whole attitude was as if they get this often but they don?t care.

Very Poor Customer Service!!!!!! Extremely surprised and disappointed given the reviews.

We have used this company for years. They are quick and efficient and do the repair right the first time.

Everything was done as promised. Very pleased with the service!

Came on the same day I called. The kitchen sink drain was plugged and backing up and out of an open standpipe onto our crawlspace floor (garbage disposal refuse). They crawled thru the garbage to snake the pipe and then plug the standpipe. We had to get Serv-Pro in to clean and sanatize the crawlspace floor.

The main installation went well, but there were many follow up issues. K&S made good on everything, but multiple visits were required, and, at times, they struggled to understand how to fix the problems.

We have used Kirkland & Shaw several times over the years, and their service has always been absolutely top-notch -- much better than that of the plumbing company we used to call.

We've used Kirkland and Shaw for years! We've most recently had them at the house to make a couple small repairs. Each time we have an issue they are on time, professional, and get the job done right. I would not hesitate to recommend this company to anyone needing plumbing work done (jobs big and small). They make what can be a very stressful situation for a homeowner somehow turn into a pleasant experience. You know work done by them will be excellent! we called around trying to find someone when we noticed the water tank heater had started leaking and everybody we called around 7 am either wanted us to leave a message or they were too busy to come in that same day. When we called kirkland and shaw they said they can send someone to look at the water tank heater in 2 hours and they showed up 90 minutes past that conversation which was great response time and as soon as a decision was reached that we need a new one , the person took a picture and email to his office and we were lucky that they had that model in stock and it was delivered within 45 minutes , The tank was installed and they were gone like nothing happened except for my wet floor in less than 3 hours.

The plumbing was done by a company in Burlington. Kirkland and Shaw Plumbing & Heating are the ones that I used. The cost was less than what they quoted me. The cost was less than 200 dollars because I was surprised because the quote was 230 it was less than that. They showed up on time. They finished quickly. They didn't charge me for the full service cost. They told me that there was a minimum for an hour as the service cost but they didn't end up taking more than 15 minutes so they didn't charge me for the full hour which was really nice. They were extremely responsive and very professional. I would rate them an 'A' across the board.

You can always get someone on the phone. They call you before the actual technician arrives, so you have like a half an hour before they come. They're very reliable.

The work was good, but I'm not confident that the pricing was fair and I didn't care for how they invoiced me. I called for a boiler cleaning at a house I recently purchased and said that the water pressure probably needed a valve as the home inspector instructed. The person on the phone was very polite and told me that the tech was familiar with the property and I could let him in and go to work, and feel comfortable about leaving him there alone. She quoted $245 for the cleaning. She said valve prices vary by pipe. I had a valve put on at a previous property and it was about $300 by another company, so I figured the bill would be about $600-650. The tech came on time and was very polite and I did feel comfortable leaving him there alone. I told him to call me to let me know if the water valve was needed and so I could set the alarm after he left. He left a message when he was done about 3 hours later, but he did not say anything about the water valve. I called him and he told me it did need a water valve and he replaced the primary circulating coil. I was a little surprised that I did not get a call about The extra materials without letting me know what was happening and the cost. I asked him how much that cost and he did not know. I called their office to find out what in estimate would be and they said they would not be able to give me one until the technician arrived back at the office. I got the bill about a week later and and with the first time Angie's List ten percent discount the bill came to a surprising $937. The bill was not itemized in any way except to have one fee for the labor $450 and one fee for the materials, $611, but there was no breakdown of how that was calculated. I called to ask for an itemized bill, and I was told that is just how they do the bills. The person I spoke to seem surprised that I would make that kind of request, although he was polite. I explained that if I am getting a bill for about $1000 I should be able to see how it is calculated the same way when I bring my car to a mechanic. This is the first time I've had service at any home by somebody who did not give me a breakdown of the cost or did extra work that was going to be needed. He said he would talk to the owner about getting me the bill. I have not heard from the owner or received an itemized bill yet. I have sent in payment just to get this behind me, but I am very disappointed. I don't know if the charge was reasonable or padded before the discount. My neighbor and I have two other properties that we need to get a service provider for and we'll keep shopping around.

They did a confident job. One technician came out and it took him most of the morning. He was friendly and hardworking. When he left, everything was working.

The experiences with them has gone very well. There work is very satisfactory.

Our basement was leaking and we needed somebody to come in and fix it because there was water running down the board and they promise 24 hours service for practically anything you ask for. They are wonderful and I have used them probably for 25 to 30 years. The most recent work they did for was when I went down to the basement and discovered that there was water running down a wall between 2 big rooms in the basement. We don’t use the basement so when water is running down the wall there is something wrong and I called them. What was going on was that we were having a hole in a pipe and so they came in they figured out where it was and fixed the pipe. There aren’t many people whom we can call and get them in 24 hours. If you need a new water heater they will be in there in a day and you will have a new water heater that will work. They have done very good job for years. I have never had a problem with them. They promise to be there within 24 hours, they promise to get the job done and every single time I have ever hired them over for the last 30 years it gets done. They are not expensive.

The job was done very professionally and thoroughly. I especially appreciated the technician explaining precise details about the heating system that would be helpful in an emergency. The 2 men who came were very pleasant and also careful in venting the forced hot water radiators.

I was going out of town. Kirkland & Shaw answered the phone promptly, came the morning after I called, and did a thorough, efficient job of the installation. The service man was punctual and polite. In all, it was a very pleasant experience.

They took care of everything extremely well. I was excited for them to come in do the reconditioning work that was needed. They were very prompt and very professional. I asked them questions and they answered everything properly so I knew they would be able to complete the job. The job was done in such a way it will remain a part of the house for as long as it is here. They were a delightful group and I would recommend them to anyone.
