Description of Work: The staff at Hydrotech was fantastic! As a newer pool owner, there were so many things that I did not understand about maintaining a pool. While they did not specifically come to my home, they were able to explain what I needed to do from pictures and verbal descriptions. Because they have a retail location, I was able to visit their company and get my water tested at any time and receive a very detailed report of what my pool needed to be safe. They do offer most of the chemicals needed to maintain your pool or spa. Prices were reasonable and they are definitely my go to pool professionals!

Description of Work: Well, the sales rep Keith, who seems very nice, never showed up for the appointment, the office lady was polite but conveyed no real concern when I told her what had happened. For some reason, I emailed Keith twice to set-up another appointment 10 days ago and 2 days ago and have gotten no response. I guess business must be really good! Keith knew I wanted to buy a new heat pump pool heater and a few other smaller items, so this was a several thousand dollar job they blew off. I wonder how they treat customers with less significant jobs?

Description of Work: I highly recommend hydrotech. We just returned from a 2 week vacation and our pool pump wasn't working properly and the pool was green. I called hydrotech at 9:00 a.m. and spoke to Frank and explained my problem. Half hour later hydrotech was here and assessed the problem. They got my pump going but said I needed a part replaced. i thought for sure it would take a while to order the part, etc. Ricky was back shortly after and replaced the part. Their customer service is outstanding! Within the day my pool was clean and ready to swim! Hydrotech has skilled people who know what their doing unlike other pool companies that I've worked with in the past. Call Hydrotech if you want things done right, especially in a timely and professional manner.

Description of Work: The technician came out the day after I called. Extremely prompt. Took a look at the hot tub which was not heating properly. He quickly diagnosed that the problem was at the electrical panel although there was a possibility that the circuit board on the hot tub could have issues as well as it appeared to have some burn marks near some of the circuits. He recommended to call an electrician to look at the breaker for the tub first, then to call if that didn't fix the problem, of course it would be the same "service call" so no extra charge for that. It turned out to be the breaker alone so I didn't to have HydroTech out again. Problem solved. I'd say the service call fee of $125 is a bit steep, but these guys were good and extremely prompt, so I'm willing to pay a bit more for that. I'd use them again.

 + -1 moreEverything was perfect and I love that all I have to do is swim and I don't have to worry about chemicals or any other maintenance on my pool since Hydro-Tech takes care of everything and does a fantastic job. Frank, the owner, is quick to respond to any and all concerns and/or issues you might have.
Description of Work: This is the second year I have used Hydro-Tech to open, maintain/clean, and close my gunite swimming pool and jacuzzi.

 + -1 moreI called HydroTech to come to my recently purchased house to do a review and service call on the pool and spa. They were very helpful on the phone, and sent a knowledgeable technician, who gave the equipment a thorough once over and sold us some product and tools to help keep the pool in order. We are handling the cleaning and maintenance ourselves for now, but are considering hiring them as a regualr service. This weekend, my husband went to their store, but they didn't have our records on file, so we were unable to reference with the store employee what next steps there were, which was a little disappointing.

 + -1 moreTHE GUYS RESPONDED QUICKLY AND CAME TO THE HOUSE WITHIN A WEEK. THE PUMP NEEDED TO BE SPECIAL ORDERED FROM THE MANUFACTURER (THEY HAD NEVER WORKED WITH THIS BRAND), BUT THEY GOT THE PUMP QUICKLY AND HAD THE HOT TUB UP AND RUNNING WITHIN A FEW HOURS. I HAD TO CALL THEM BACK DUE TO A PROBLEM WITH THE PUMP TURNING ON AND OFF AND THEY CAME OUT THE NEXT DAY AND FOUND THE THERMOSTAT TO BE BROKEN; FIXED IT IN AN HOUR AND ALL IS OK NOW.
Description of Work: DIAGNOSED LEAK IN HOT TUB. FOUND THAT THE PUMP WAS RUSTED AND LEAKING AND COULD NOT BE REPAIRED. ORDERED NEW PUMP AND INSTALLED.
