It went very smoothly as mentioned above.

Inspected my foundation area and the walkway around my home. inspected up under the eaves of the siding and cornices of the gutters. applied a small amount of filler to a possible access point for mice to enter through the siding and into the attic. very nice team to work with.

Our house is only two years old, so we were surprised to see ants in the basement this spring. After a visit from Ultra Safe, spraying the foundation exterior, the ants were all killed. They called to let us know when to expect them, and came when they said they would. We were quite satisfied!

I ran an errand and was about 15 minutes late They already came left and did the job and were very personable on the phone.

Bill came out and did our service, He was very good overall, we were very satisfied with the value of service they provided.

The person from Ultra Safe Pest Management was very punctual. He was very knowledgeable, demonstrated what he was talking about, and answered all of my questions. I felt the price was a little high (he filled in gaps around a couple of pipes), but since it was a coupon deal I suppose there is no way for them to know how much work would be done. My only complaint is that some of the foam that he used to fill in gaps ended up on a window screen and the house itself, and it seems to be impossible to remove. On the plus side, we have had no more signs of mice.

They came out the first time in early 2012 I believe, inspected the exterior of the house and sprayed for about 2 minutes. The technician was pleasant but kept trying to up sell me to bed bug protection. Once the weather warmed up, I would still come across various random insects in my house. I then received a letter in late July (when I was out of town) that said a technician would be stopping by within the next week or so to do the 2nd service and that he would leave paperwork onsite to confirm. Shortly after I returned in early August, I received a statement in the mail saying that the service was complete. Nothing left in my mailbox as stated in the letter so I honestly didn't know if anyone even showed up. I called multiple times over the next month or so, always having to leave a voicemail and never receiving a return call. Very frustrating and I feel like it was a total waste of money. Very poor customer service for sure.

We appreciated prompt response to call and speedy initial appointment (to which owner, himself, also arrived on time). Altogether professional. Came with trained dog to sniff out bed bugs (dog was also very businesslike!). VERY reassuring when they found none. Though this diagnostic visit took less than an hour it was well worth $300. Also took samples to look at in lab. Also negative. Since I had gotten over a hundred bites form something (his best guest was squirrel mites that I brought in on my own bed clothing) they came back 3 days later (on a Saturday, bless them!) to spray inside of house. That part was pretty expensive ($450 to spray one very large and one small bedroom), but we felt it was definitely worth it for the piece of mind and the full warranty provided (for another $150 they would have sprayed all rooms on all three floors, but I was concerned about overkill, removal of pets for the day, etc if this was not really needed). They gave us the same warranty (return visit for additional spray at no charge) as they would have had they done the whole house. I just wish I had called a few days sooner - would have prevented in my panic throwing out things needlessly, and nearly $200 of laundromat services. My husband and I spent hours reading reviews from Angies list before choosing this company. Maybe our time will save the reader some trouble.

Called for an appt on Friday and got one for the following Monday am which was great. Technician right on time. I was not home at the time but my adult child was here. Visual inspection done and he found some mice droppings behind the stove and a dead mouse in the basement ; felt that my cat was a deterrent. plugged some holes in exterior. The week after the visit my cat walked into the living room with a mouse in his mouth.. That's the reason for my B rating and not an A

Last winter, my cat found and caught (thank goodness!) 5 baby mice and 1 parent mouse. A neighboring house had been gutted and renovated over the spring/summer/fall and all rodent occupants moved into the neighborhood homes. I was determined not to have these visitors again this year, so purchased a "Big Deal" from this company. They arrived promptly, did a thorough examination for where the little unwanted visitors got in, closed off those points, and reinforced some 'potential' problem areas. They also checked for current occupation (none---good kitty). This was a quick process and to date, I have no further unwanted visitors. A couple of my neighbors do. For me, this was a "Great Deal".

These guys were great. Professional, friendly, prompt, quick, helpful. They took the time to educate me about how to find out where mice might be getting in and what to do about it.

They were very professional and polite and took the time to explain the type of spider and it's lifespan, etc.

They didn't find anything but i'm glad to have done the scan.

I called and arrange the appointment for the exterior work and I enquired about having the interior service too. Sufficient time was built into the appointment time. The company had to re-schedule the appointment and they gave me plenty of notice. The second appointment was a specific time rather than a time window. Fred arrived on time. We walked through the house and I had left some of the evidence for Fred to see where the mice had been. Having assessed the whole situation, he went around the exterior of the house filling any entry points for the mice. Fred was very knowledgable and helpful. Fred obtained a price for the interior work and I went ahead and had him complete the work inside the house. Fred was at the house about two hours and was thorough, especially in the basement, which is probably where the mice are entering the house. Fred also pointed out a couple of problem area where I should think about finding a solution to fill the gap, ie around the bulkhead door as there is about an inch all around the door where the mice could get in. He left bait stations in the house and also refilled some that we had in the basement from a previous treatment program. Fred explained that there is a 6 month warranty and also they come back out to check to the situation after three weeks. I have received a call to see if I was satisfied with the service and to set up the return appointment and Fred had said that he would like to return so that he can assess what has been done. Will call to make that appointment. Definitely will use this company again and would recommend them to others.

We were very happy with their work on the carpenter ants and decided to hire them for mosquito and tick control as well. Our property is on wetlands and is visited by many deer. They kept the mosquitos down and we avoided Lyme's disease this year.

When I came home from vacation, I found a dead mouse in my kitchen sink. I bought the Big Deal through Angie's List. They contacted me the same day I bought the Big Deal, and had a technician at my house the next day. While checking inside the house, the technician spotted a mouse under the stove, so he set traps, and left me a few extras. The only problem I had was that the technician couldn't print me a receipt. He promised to email it when he got back to the office, but I never received it. I contacted Vic after a few days, and he sent it right away. I need to schedule a follow-up visit to check the trap behind my stove.

The persons were helpful, organized, fast and prompt. They did not leave a mess behind and were helpful with suggestions for maintenance.

The service person spent a couple hours going completely around the perimeter of my house (under a porch, with wood stored beneath) and found seven different entry points. I sealed them, and problem solved. Very professional operation from initial phone call to job-done. I would use these folks again.

The only contact I had with the company was a brief phone call. When I asked to receive notice when work was complete I was told the only communication would come via e-mail. I never again heard from the company. I was never told what was done or what additional work was advised. The only way I know work was done is that some blown-in material is visible where there'd been openings under my front door.

It was too expensive. The deal only covered outside service, not inside. It would have cost me more than $100 extra for inside service. I decided not to use them and got a refund on the deal.

stalledHow was our overall experience with Fred and Ultra Safe Pest management? We plan to sign a one-year contract with Ultra Safe Pest Management in 2013 as soon as our one-year contract with the larger local pest control firm expires.

It was an overall EXCELLENT JOB. THe workers were professional and had knowledge of what they were doing and why. Please see above for detail.

They were thorough and we have not had any problems.

Very professional and efficient technician. We walked around the outside of the house and he pointed out areas to seal. He described what he was doing and why, explained typical ways mice (and other rodents) enter the house, and sealed all entry points. He also inspected interior of the basement and recommended places where I needed to seal, materials for me to use, and techniques to use. As an added favor he gave me a partial roll of copper mesh that I can use to plug potential points of entry. I used this company based on a "Big Deal" and I would use them again. The only reason for a B on quality was that I discovered after he left that he only partially filled a gap that I had specifically requested to be filled.

Inspector arrived on time. He did a very thorough review of the property, performing exclusion on areas as needed. He inspected the exterior, garage, attic and basement. He set traps in the attic to take care of any rodents that may currently be in the house. Then he did an inspection in the basement and performed exclusion. He then tackled the garage and performed extensive exclusion and placed bait stations. He was professional and thorough throughout the appointment. I am very satisfied. I feel that this company stands behind the product they are selling and I would definitly recommend them.
