I used them 2 times. I kind of used them the second time because I didn't have another option. They are good price wise but their policies and customer service need a little work. I really had a hard time with them.

I was kind of forced to do it because I had to move on the spur of the moment because I have health issues and their were code violations in the apartment I was in. So I didn't have time to really look for another storage unit. I think the price was fair. The only thing I m grateful for is that when I decided to use them again, none of my stuff got taken or broken. Nothing changed. I wouldn't refer anyone to them. The reason why people use them is because in Boston, they are all over. They are one of the bigger ones and are more familiar. All the better ones cost more too and people can't afford that every month.

The quality of the truck was poor. It was pretty old and all of the alarms kept going off. I was afraid that it wasn't going to make it. The truck ended up leaking and a lot of my things got wet. I had rented a smaller truck for the move but they ended up upgrading me to a bigger truck at no extra charge which was good! The truck was at the ready at the time they said it would be. The people at the place where I picked the truck up in Florida were really nice but when I got to Boston, the people there were trying to make me drop the truck off at a different location which I didn't think was very professional.
Description of Work: I rented a Uhaul truck to move from Sunrise, FL to East Boston, MA.

This particular U-Haul has the worst customer service I have ever experienced in any service company. The staff could care less about customer service, has repeatedly failed to follow up with simple requests, and has no accountability, as the manager never returned any phone calls, nor did the regional office when I attempted to get issues resolved. I paid literally thousands in storage costs and was never even shown the courtesy of a return phone call when I had a problem. When it happened the first time (my credit card expired and I was trying to contact them to pay them before they took my stuff away!), I assumed it was one poor employee. But the second time cost me real money because I showed up with a truck trying to store additional items and could not get into my unit. And since they have my stuff, I am forced to continue paying during a period when I cannot get back there to resolve my problem (I've moved away temporarily).
