Lowe’s Air Duct Cleaning

Joe and his coworker were clean and on time, did the work quickly. (note, the chimeny was not dirty, but wanted to inspect before the winter comes)

The two guys who performed the service called me and left a voicemail about an hour before the scheduled time to confirm that they would be here. They arrived exactly on time, were extremely polite (to the point of even taking off their shoes without being asked) and let me know exactly what they were going to do and how long it would take. When they were leaving, they let me know how everything went and said that they would recommend that I get a filter for the central air intake. Having just bought the house, I didn't realize it was missing so it was appreciated that they suggested this. Great experience and I would definitely recommend and use these guys again!

Arrived on time. Completed job in three hours. Two workers where professional and efficient and didn't try to sell us any extras.

They had to cut a square in duct work, but they sealed it well, and it will be more easily accessible for future cleanings. It's good to know the air my family breaths is now a lot cleaner than it was a week ago

Excellent. Showed up on time, explained exactly what he would be doing, and then did it.

Service man was Joe. Very polite and punctual. Explained what he was going to do. He cleaned out all the vents, including the dryer vent that leads to the outside of the house.

Service technician was great. He was personable, knowledgeable, professional and gave us honest advice that our ducts looked good so probably wouldn't need to be cleaned again for a few years.

Provider arrived on time. Was gracious and agreed to start upstairs so we could put our son to bed before the cleaning was finished. We bought a coupon for one system and the company offered to do a second system at a discount, which was great. Didn't realize we needed air filters available for the service so we had to run out to get some. That vacuuming was loud for sure but necessary as our air ducts were quite dirty

Terrific value -- I looked at others. The technician arrived on time, worked nearly 5.5 hours (initial estimate was 2hr per unit), was through and clean. He warned us about noise (uses high pressure air to push dirt towards huge vacuum connected on the other end of the system) and the possibility that it might smell a little like something was burning, but wouldn't be. He also explained that he needed to cut into ducting system to attach the vacuum and that those openings would be patched with sheet metal, which they were. Plastic film was placed over all ducts to prevent intake or exhaust of dust, each removed and replaced as the tech worked on individual ducts. He did a full house survey for ducts upon arriving and a full house check at the end to insure that everything was cleaned up. No fancy aspects like fiberoptic preview of duct condition, but very professional and well done for 1/4 of what some other providers were quoting.

I purchased the deal on Angie's list on May 30th. They were a few weeks out so we setup an appointment for June 23. Joe called me when he was about 40 mins out from the house. He was on time and when he arrived he got right to work reviewing the location of the ducts, air returns and system. When he started to setup he noticed some water around my furnace and let me know about it right away. But it was nothing something that would stop the service. While the ducts were being cleaned, he went to start work on the dryer vent, but discovered that it was a flexible type vent (not code) and had a partial blockage. He informed me that he could not run a brush in it for fear of puncturing it, so he refunded me $50 in cash for the service he could not perform. He completed the service efficiently and let us know to get a new air filter (our ducts and furnace were really dirty!) The only thing I think he could have done better was to make sure that he removed the tape from all of the ducts. Some were missed and so I went around the house and removed the rest after he left.

We had a great experience! Joe was able to come earlier, so he called and asked if that would be fine. I was already home so that worked out great! It took him about 2 hours. All I had to do was show him where all the vents were in the house and he went to work! We purchased a house where the previous owner did very little regular maintenance. Joe said the vents in really bad condition and I had no idea how bad until I saw how clean they were when he was done! He recommended doing this every 2-3 years and we will be calling Lowe's again when the time comes for cleaning again.

Very timely, efficient while here and thorough. I've had my vents and returns cleaned before, but this was the first company that i felt didn't try to oversell me services i didn't need.

It was fine- just took a while, felt like it could have been faster. He took a 15 minute break after an hour. There was no call prior to him showing up (good thing I was home). Only one guy- could have moved much faster with another. This was a deal on Angie's List- I don't think it was really all that much of a deal.

He bought one of the discount coupons for 300 something but then found out we had two systems not one and would have to pay additional - which was till at deal Joe (or Joel) from Serbia couldn't have been more pleasant or accomodating. He removed each air intake and outtake grate and put down all these hoses. I expected great gobs of stuff - but no - it's a very fine coating that he showed me over the formerly white filters. I'm glad we did it. My daughter has so many allergies - I can't help but think this helps.

Technician called to ask if he could arrive early. We were ready, so had no problem. Previous owner had never had duct work or dryer vent cleaned. He described the dryer vent as almost 100% blocked and "very dangerous". My husband couldn't believe the amount of lint he was pulling out. He also cleaned all of the the duct work. At the beginning he told my husband the job should take about 2 hours; because of the state of the dryer vent, it ended of taking him almost 4. I would hire them again and recommend.
