I hired Certified for a second opinion. Another company told me I needed an expensive liner put in my chimney. My instinct was that they were lying, but I wanted a reputable company to tell me the truth. Certified told me the truth that I did not need the liner. All I needed was a chimney cap. They sold me the cap for a lot less money than the other company quoted. I’ll have no reason to ever hire a different chimney company then Certified.

They were friendly, professional and efficient. I originally asked for a cleaning of my fireplace chimney. While at my house they took a look at my chimney for my oil burner and informed me that it was deteriorating and needed to be fixed soon. They were willing to do the work that day and at a good price. I will definitely call them for all my fireplace and chimney needs.

They do good work, but appear to have some slight communication problem between the guys in the truck and the office. The guys came out, looked at the job, found the weather to be too wet for the work to be done and made a new appointment with me for a couple of weeks later. When they did not show up for this appointment, I called the office and the office didn't know anything about it (the lady on the phone was actually quite rude telling me I must be lying and that if there was not appointment in her books there wasn't an appointment made). I got a second appointment scheduled with the rude lady and the guys showed up for that one. They did great work for a reasonable price. I would not hesitate to hire them again for any chimney related work.

Don’t know how to rate quality of work, a cover was replaced on roof that was leaking. It took longer than I would have liked. Customer service could improve.
