Chris was really responsive and professional. Chris reached out to me right away and had something lined up very quickly. He completed the job in a couple hours and everything looks great. He also commented on the condition of my roof and gave me a heads up on some spots that might need attention. Would recommend and will use again. Thanks Chris!!

Could not have been better. Chris gave us an estimate with a range of 90 to 175 dollars. When he came to do the job, right on time, he let us know that the price would be $130.00, right in the middle of the range. He showed up as scheduled, did a very professional job cleaning the gutters, cleaned up afterwards and was generally a joy to do business with. We will use this company every year for our annual gutter cleaning.

Chris did a fine job. He answered all my questions over phone specially the alternatives that were available, sent me a written estimate and offered me helpful answers for all our house related queries. He also identified issues or things that we should address in future. We are very happy.

Three words - hire this company! Chris, the owner, did all the work. He cleaned my gutters, did a great job and his price was very reasonable. While doing that he noticed they were pulling away from the fascia in places. He also told me that the soffit vents for my bathrooms and dryer were the wrong kind and needed to be replaced. Chris did an excellent job with the gutter repairs/vent replacement -- it took him longer than he expected because he had to look high and low to find the right soffit vents because I happen to have a narrower than normal soffit. Despite that, he did not charge me any extra. He took before and after photos and video of everything he did so he could show me and explain it all (who does that???!!!). While he was there I asked him what other services he provides and showed him a few other issues that needed attention and fit his scope of work. For each one, Chris explained the relative significance of the issue and in a few cases where I thought replacement was needed, he told me that I'd get the same result from far less costly repairs. He also identified which issues needed immediate attention and which ones could wait. Chris is a consummate professional - he is extremely knowledgeable and takes immense pride in his work. He has raised customer service to an art form and it's clear he really cares about the quality of his work and ensuring his customers' homes are well maintained and safe.

My husband contacted him. He told my husband that he would come out towards the end of the week. He had also said that no one needed to be home. Chris Chemlen is the owner of the business and he came in the afternoon. He asked a few question about the gutter and started to work on cleaning them out. He finished fairly quickly may an hour. He cleaned up and was very professional. We will definitely hire him again for the gutters.

Chris came the same day that I contacted him as he had a job in the area. He was friendly and the repair came out great. You can tell that Chris cares about the quality of the work and enjoys what he does. I would definitely call him again for my next job.

Chris cleaned our gutters and cleared some problematic clogs. He responded to my inquiry quickly and came to our short despite the freezing weather and icy conditions. He worked in the cold and dark to assess our problems and came back in better weather to address the problems. He communicated well with us and did great work.

This is our first year in our home, so we weren't sure what to expect as far as cost or the state of our gutters. The work was done while I was at work, which was great for me, since I didn't need to take time off. The guys left a business card on our front porch to show that they were there. When I spoke with Chris on the phone he was so helpful and kind, and he answered some of my other home-maintenance questions without making me feel like I was inconveniencing him. Thanks!

Last time this company cleaned my gutters, it was the owner that came by and he was great. This time, it was a group of people that came in an unmarked van. They didn't state where they were from. I asked that the company look at some leaking spots. I have no idea if they did. I received a bill about 2 weeks after the service. No mention of any repairs. The day that the van came, I e-mailed the company to verify that they were indeed from his company and if they were going to look at the leaking spots. I never received a response. Lastly, the van of people came back last week and started walking around my property. After about 10 minutes, I came out and asked what they were doing. They said they were "making sure that the gutters were clean." I will not use this company again.

I called for help mid day and Chris had someone here by 600 p.m. that night! Even though it was late and dark Richie was able to do the job thoroughly and professionally and left no debris behind. I was skeptical of the hour but they proved it not to be an issue. Both Chris and Richie were pleasant to work with. I will call again without hesitation.

Chris responded quickly. He had someone to our house that day. The work was done that day and looks good to me. The price was very reasonable. We definitely will use them again. Thanks Chris and Richie.

Chris was extremely responsive and was able to come out the same day to look at and fix a hole in our roof. He and his associate Walter arrived on time and were extremely friendly and professional, explaining and taking pictures of the repairs to show us what had been done. We also asked Chris to look at our roof to recommend solutions to the ice dams we've been experiencing - he spotted a few possible causes and gave us several potential solutions. We've asked him to quote out his recommended solutions and will definitely be using him in the future.

Manny came early and finished all the scraping, priming and painting in two days and did such an excellent and thorough job that we may even get an extra year before doing the whole house. He even did around the windows. Actually, Manny did quite a bit more than we anticipated. He is such a super thorough painter and will definitely use him for any paining jobs we have, inside and out. He is also a super nice person! Chris only hires experienced and knowledgeable workers and If you are looking for a reliable company for many different types of jobs I highly recommend Northeast Maintenance.

Chris was cleaning the gutters at my neighbor's house when he approached me and asked me if I knew that I had a hole in my roof. He was on his ladder and could see it from his angle but we had no idea! (Our best guess is that the people who removed our ice dams last winter left it there.) He said that he couldn't in good conscience leave us with a hole in our roof and offered to patch it for us for free. He probably spent an hour with us looking at some other damage we had from the winter. He was knowledgable and kind. We will definitely call him in the future. What a good guy!

The job was done within 48 hours of my initial contact. Chris was courteous and knowledgeable. My gutters were almost completely clogged in some areas and he was able to clear and flush them quickly and efficiently. More importantly, he stayed well within the quote I was given when I first called. In addition, he provided useful tips on how to keep the gutters from getting as bad as they were in the future. I now know this is something that should be done at least once a year, especially with a massive pine tree in my backyard, and I won't call anyone else when that time comes. Excellent job.

Great! Chris Chemlen is personable, knowledgable, and completely professional. Communicates well and is just a nice guy to deal with. No pressure at all about addressing the few minor issues he found with the gutter system. I am having him do the few things that were identified and have every confidence. Chris from Northeast Maintenance was awesome! We had a great experience from start to finish. Chris answered the phone personally when I called and was able to give me an estimate over the phone for a great price for gutter cleaning. He came to our house the very next day. He did a great job cleaning the gutters and didn't leave any mess behind. He was professional and friendly and we will definitely be calling him again in the future!

They didn't show and they didn't call or message us to tell us they weren't coming. We spent a whole day waiting for their arrival or some contact from them.

Chris is a very caring contractor and if it means coming out at midnight to save your roof from caving in, he will do it. He has "saved the day" for me many times for many different types of jobs. When his team was finished it was such a relief to see my roof again and the stack pipes had been completely covered with snow so they were very careful as I could not tell them exactly where they were. They also cleaned up the snow in the driveway and patio and away from the bottom windows afterwards as it was very heavy. I am forever indebted to Northeast Maintenance and highly recommend them for almost anything that needs attention. They deserve an A++...

I called him early afternoon on 4/20/15 because we were having leakage from part of the gutter & also from other places. He came late that afternoon & removed quite a bit of stuff from the gutter which stopped the leakage. He returned the next day, early evening & finished cleaning all of the gutters. He also replaced flood lights for us which needed to be changed, which we appreciated. He was personable & friendly and we will call him again in the future.

Called several times (2/10, 2/11, 2/12) inquiring about removal of ice dams on my home in Bedford. To Chris' credit, everyone in New England was calling companies like his regarding the same service based on the winter we've had, and he did post a message on his Angie's List page indicating he is apologetic for not returning calls. However, it still would have been nice to receive a personal call or text back indicating as such.

They were wonderful. They came out very promptly during a difficult winter. They were very reliable and did the job.

Before I went out vacation, I reached to a number of snow plowing companies to take care of our driveway ahead of the pending storm. No one responded except for Chris, even though he was swamped with snow and ice-dam removal at the time. When I came back from my vacation, my driveway was clean from the most recent storm and I was able to drive into my garage without spending hours shoveling snow. It was a perfect ending for a perfect vacation and Chris's team did a terrific job.
