JN Phillips Auto Glass

JN Phillips in Arlington, MA, replaced a rear window on my 2010 RAV-4 this year after a tree branch fell on it, but they failed to replace the rubber stripping around the glass. We noticed this immediately, and asked about it. They responded with a series of excuses, all untrue, including: 1) There's no weather stripping for that. (We found it shown in the service manual, as well as on every other 2010 RAV-4 on the road. The auto body shop that did the rest of the work cautioned us that we need the stripping to keep water out of the back.) 2) Ok, there is, but it's optional. Insurance won't pay for it. (It's not optional in the service manual, and the insurance company assured us they *would* pay for it). And, when they finally consented to do this and I showed up for the scheduled appointment, they claimed 3) I was supposed to bring the stripping. (They had never informed us of this, and we had no source for the part.) So they still have not replaced the weather stripping, nor shown any intention of doing so. We've had to go back to the insurance company to try to find another solution and another service.

It was the best windshield replacement experience I've ever had. I made an appointment online for the next business day, and they called me immediately to confirm -- on a weekend. It was effortless. The windshield is like new, with my registration sticker replaced like new, and no glass particles anywhere and with my mats cleaned. They were ready for me in their shop on time, and I worked on my computer using their wifi in their waiting area. They got my insurance company on the phone when I arrived, so that the job was approved for full glass coverage. I couldn't be happier. Also they underwrite WBUR!

My windshield had become very pitted and had a small crack on the driver's side. This was covered by my insurance company and they recommended JN Phillips. I would definitely use them again.

They are great to deal with . had to rearrange my appointments over 2 weeks they took care of me when i could make it. Would use again. The waiting room was the only draw back but that is minor. I pulled in at 9 AM and they were waiting A+

Very easy to work with. I requested a Lexus replacement windshield as it has a rain sensor for the windshield wipers. My insurance company approved it and JN Phillips knew what questions to ask the insurance company (Amica). It took a few extra days, but JN Phillips kept me appraised of the status. On the day of the service, the tech showed up right on time, said it would take an hour, it took 45 minutes, and everything has gone without a hitch. No cost and no problems!

Insurance paid for the windshield. The technician put on new wipers - which I realize is an upsell - but we needed them and saved a trip to the garage. Technician was thorough and replaced all parking and inspection stickers very well.

Great. Good coordination via insurance/scheduling as well as getting correct parts from manufacturer, etc. (Replacement also required a specific molding from Subaru) One note, calls sometimes went to a and quot;central lineand quot;--not necessarily the JN Philips in town. But person answering always able to give up to date information. Best part: The EZ Pass, the transponder for work parking garage, and and quot;next oil changeand quot; sticker were back in place on the new windshield--exactly where they were on the old one.

Coordinated with my insurance to file claim; work was prompt. I had to wait for OEM glass, but that was the fault of the dealer, not JN Phillips. Great work.

Provider came to me house and fixed the window in about 10 minutes.

Arrived and introduced self and he got to work. He completed work in a timely fashion and then explained what he had done and precautions to take during the next 24hrs. He left packet with information about warranty and left site neat.

Quick, responsive, took care of insurance claim over the phone. Came out to the house within a couple of hours and replaced both windows. No problems with glass since they have been replaced. Overall, a good experience. Used the location in Taunton, MA

Great, easy, not much more to say.

The job was done at my work with little hassle and everything was done thoroughly.

They dealt with the insurance company directly. I have used them three or four times before and this time was the worst. They were fine, but I don't think they put the window in correctly. It looks a little funky and makes funky noises when I roll it up and down.

They did a good job. They lived up to their reviews. Everything was fine. It took a couple of hours for the work. I would use them again.

Fortunately me auto insurance covered the cost of my cracked windshield, but JN Phililips in Arlington did a fabulous job getting the work done quickly and well. We spoke over the phone and they even assisted with putting the claim thru my insurer. I would highly recommend them.

It went pretty well. They do a good job of working with the insurance company and got the car done when they said they would. The windshield looks good. I decided to have it done at one of their facilities so that work would be done indoors and I would not have to worry about the weather or debris interfering with the work. Also they would have all their tools and resources ready at the facility. The main waiting area was not the most modern or in the best shape, but who cares once the work is done. The work was done at their Washington Street, Newton facility.

Could not have been better. They were courteous and professional, and I am very happy with the results. I would highly recommend them.

The service quickly responded and replaced window in the parking lot where I work. The work was well-done with excellent clean-up, little evidence that anyone worked on the car, only their paperwork left on the seat.

The windshield on our car got cracked from a rock and we called JN Phillips about getting it repaired. They asked about our insurance and when we indicated that we thought it was covered, they suggested setting up a conference call to work out the details. Within a few minutes, the insurance company and JN Phillips had agreed upon the price and the appointment was set up. They came out very quickly on a weekend and had the windshield replaced within 45 minutes. They did a very good job, ensuring that the inspection sticker and Fast Pass stickers were put back exactly where they belonged. I would certainly use them again if necessary.

I ordered service by phone. Installers arrived as scheduled and performed work. One car needed new seal. Installer told me if they couldn't find one through their regular distributor, he would let me know, as I might be able to find one at lower cost in that case. Installer showed up at house 2 days later to complete work on second car. Honest, friendly, professional, price seemed competitive for this market.

This was the only company, of about 10 I'd called since the preceding night (Friday), that actually had emergency weekend service. (Though many companies misleadingly advertise this.)

Prompt, professional and seemingly reasonable price (I didn't bid it out). Performed work at my office, which was an added convenience. Only complaint is that there was a relatively minor amount of loose glass from the broken window left in the door, which caused a grinding sound for a few weeks when the window was operated.

This was through my insurance, so it didn't cost my anything. They did a good job and I would use them again.
