Primo Paving did a fantastic job replacing and widening our old driveway - which was badly broken and uneven. During the consultation, the owner provided guidance about proper water drainage (something none of the other potential vendors mentioned at all) and also different sealcoating options we may wish to consider after the driveway has had time to set. Service was professional, fast and punctual (the whole job was completed over 2 working days.) Some of the reviews I'd read complained about timing/scheduling - I did not experience any problems like that. The owner called to inform me when they'd be there and if there was any change in plans (weather, etc.) he called to revise the service day and then came exactly when they said they would. As home repair projects go, this was smooth and easy to manage. We are thrilled with the results.

I requested a quote for filling in some cracks in a walkway. An estimate with the expected cost was mailed to us and when I called to book the service I was told that they had never been to the property (despite the fact that I had a written estimate from them) and that they would have to come back out. The owner did that same day, and when I spoke to him on the phone, I was told that my estimate was incorrect and that the person who wrote it (their employee) was inexperienced. When I asked for a ballpark price based on what he had seen when they visited the property, to determine if it was even something we could afford, he refused to give me an estimate over the phone, and he told me he would not do the job.

We had been looking for a driveway contractor who was responsive and competitive with pricing, to add a top surface of asphalt. Other contractors either did not respond at all or were not willing to go over the prepared surface we had had done 2 years earlier as part of a larger construction project. This was important to us. I found Primo to be responsive and timely in getting us the bid, and although we are not doing the work this year, have committed to doing it next spring and they have guaranteed the price for that timeframe.

Joe and his workers were very professional. They took the time to do my small driveway and put additional asphalt along the foundation of my house. Joe is highly recommended by me and he will walk you through everything he is going to do and let you know the cost. When he has leaving, my front door that wasn't closing all the way. He fixed it!! We were very happy with the service from Primo Paving. ?The owner seemed very knowledgeable in analyzing the issues we had and the work required to address them; and?he was very?prompt in providing?us an estimate and finishing the job. ?He also went above and beyond with the cleanup - they cleared back a ton of growth on the edge of the driveway and removed a sizable rock pile that we inherited from the previous owner. ?Overall, we were very pleased with the result, as the driveway looks far better than we ever anticipated.

Joe from Primo was helpful throughout! On time, fair price and a excellent finish on the driveway. We will be using him in the future!!

Our driveway was in rough shape. We were thinking that it could be repaired but were not sure. Joe gave us estimates for repair and a replacement and took the time to talk through pros and cons of both estimates. In the end we went with replacement and we ended up with a great driveway. Primo saw that the point were the driveway came into contact with the foundation of the house was too low and suggested that this could be repaired. The new driveway drastically reduced the amount and frequency of water getting into our basement. The new pitch also eliminated most of the ice that plagued our driveway before.

Called the paving company and made an appointment for Saturday at midday, I also texted the company to confirm my house address and the date and time of the appointment. They called me on Saturday morning at approx 9:30 am and left me a message from a private number. I called them back on Saturday and he told me that he will not be able to make it at midday as he was at another job. Told him this was ok and he told me he would come over to my house on Saturday at approx 4 pm and would give me a estimate on the spot after looking at the job. He also told me he would call me when he was on the way. it is now Monday morning, he did not turn up on Saturday, I did not receive a call or a text. I am still waiting to hear back from them.

Tried calling this company for over a month 4 times to get information about an estimate, no calls back despite leaving 3 voicemails. On the 4th voicemail, I received a call back (which was to my work phone when I specified the number to call me back was my personal phone-- clearly they didn't listen to the voicemail and just called back the phone I called them on) and they told me they are not taking on any more customers for residential jobs. When I asked when they decided to stop taking on customers, as I was referred to them through Angie's list, they told me about a month ago. Had they actually called me back the FIRST time I called, I would have now had someone hired. Now I go back to trying to start from the beginning and will try to locate a new provider. Very poor experience.

They made sure the driveway was level with the walk path in de back this way it would be easier for my daughter who is in a wheelchair to come to the back door.

THEY CAME AT TIME AND DATE ARRANGED. JOE THE OWNER AND HIS ASSOCIATE WALTER DID THE BEST JOB I HAVE EVER HAD DONE. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND PRIMO PAVING .

THEY CAME AND WENT TO WORK WITHIN MINUTES OF ARRIVAL AND CONTINUED WITHOUT A BREAK UNTIL FINISHED. THEY CLEANED UP AND LEFT. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THESE PEOPLE AND THINK JOE IS VERY EASY TO GET ALONG WITH HIS ASSOCIATES ARE VERY PLEASANT PEOPLE.

ter. I was originally given a cost estimate of just under 4600 The contractor came when scheduled and applied the material.and was just completing the spraying when I discovered his presence. As soon as he saw me he started to disparage the work of the prior contractor. As I inspected his work, there was . an obvious difference in the appearance a the 2 feet wide band along the edges of the driveway, which was smoother than the center. He blamed that on the prior contractor,, and said that in order to have the sealing last, I should have a second coat applied, which would also make the appearance uniform I paid for him to apply the second coat, but the driveway does not look any different as a result. On that basis, I'd advise caution in working with this contractor.

I called and left a message on Sunday asking for a return call. The next day Joe called me back and got me an estimate later that day. The work was done a few days later. Joe was very responsive to my concerns and did a great job cleaning up after a very messy job. Especially pleased with how quickly this all went.

Job seems well done. Clean work - no mess. He added more grit to add more traction in response to my concerns about our steep driveway in snow. His price was reasonable - not the highest and not the lowest. (Lowest price is not always best). Had discussion with Joe afterwards about how to pick good contractor and he gave good advice that one should look for someone who has worked for years under the same name. Too easy for some contractors to take advantage of people, but time tells. Joe has been working for decades under his same company name. He has my confidence.

I was very pleased with the personel and with Joe the owner. Aprile the sales rep was very informative and kept me up to date with phone calls and fast return calls when I had questions.

Joe and crew did a very nice job. Punctual and explained just what he was going to do. The work was done for my church, and Joe even let me defer some of the payment until I had a new budget cycle to work with.

It went fantastic! Enough can't be said about Joe and his company! We experienced great communication with him. He patiently worked with us, waiting for the perfect weather to do the job. Never was he impatient or pushy. The day of the seal coat he was prompt and very neat. We were looking for a sprayed on good thick coat of seal coating and that is absolutely what we were given! Overall the experience cannot be topped!

Joe and his team are the best. His response time to our initial phone message was the same day. He showed up to the site the the next day to do an estimate and he called me back the next morning to give me the quote. He was very thorough in explaining what they would do and how much time it would take. He also made some suggestions as to what type of ground materials I should use in the backyard and referred us to a local stone yard. Without asking, Joe assured us that he would be very careful not to damage anything in the yard as the asphalt did go right up against the house and garage. Joe and his team then showed up on the agreed date and did exactly what he said he was going to do. He was extremely professional and was a pleasure to work with. We highly recommend Primo and will be using their services in the future. I can't think of a smoother transaction. We called, he checked out the property, gave us a quote, we set the date, he showed up and followed through. Great service.

Provided good expectations about what could and couldn't be done with the plow. Got my car cleared out of my spot on the street within 15 minutes. It was impressive how well he handled his truck and was able to maneuver the snow. Very punctual and professional service. Would highly recommend.
