Went very well with no "glitches. Crew showed up on time, were professional, thorough and courteous...and neat, did a great job and finished on time....weather permitting. The details are in the fact that there are no details, other than a fine professional job ....as quoted with no "surprises". That in itself is most gratifying.

Our experience with Straight Shooters was mixed. Initially they were very responsive and quickly gave us a quote which was mid range. They could perform the job the following week and we really wanted to get this work done quickly so we went with them. There was a big team that came in for two days and nearly finished the job. Two painters came back after our floors were refinished to do touch-ups and fix the poor lines that were cut. The Pros: They did an excellent job removing the wallpaper. The ceilings look great. The Cons: They were messy. I found drip marks all over my banister, the lines at the ceilings were cut very poorly. There were many drip marks on the walls. There was paint all over our floors (granted we were getting our floors refinished after they finished painting, however it seemed very disrespectful, this is our home and they didn't even ask if they should cover the floors). When I approached them regarding our disappointments, they did schedule a time to come back and touch up and finish the work.

Wish I could say I was happy with the work that was done. Unfortunately I cannot! We had them out to power wash the house and then added on painting of a small deck. I was not happy with either service. I have had to wash off the soap marks from my doors as well as wash off the dirt drips left around the windows from power washing. While out at out house to power wash we added on painting of our porch, we were having a party in a couple days and didn't have time to get this taken care of. They came back the next day, painted a very thin uneven coat on part of the porch, leaving some areas not covered at all. My husband was home working at the house and asked him to fix some of the missed spots however all were not taken care of. Paint splatter also got all over the siding of the house we had just paid them to power wash (I do admit there were already some spots however they added a fair amount to it). When I called to speak to them about the issues I was told out deck was in bad shape and they did the best they could. I agree there are some railings that need to be replaced however we paid to have the deck painted evening and not have paint on the house. I was emailed two different dates for them to come out and remove the paint from the house, however they never showed up.

I called Straight Shooters, and immediately spoke with the owner. He quoted me a competitive price for cleaning my gutters and he scheduled a time one week out from my initial call to perform the service. On the day of the appointment, the owner stopped by to ask whether they could reschedule the appointment for the next day due to the weather which was fine by us. The next day he showed up as promised, cleaned our gutters and cleaned up afterward to our satisfaction. I will most likely use this firm for cleaning my gutters again.

I called them for an estimate at the very begining of our relationship and they came out the next day, gave me a price and 2 days after I agreed upon the price and the service to be done, they were out and finished within no time. I have used them twice since and each and every time all I have to do is pick up the phone, tell them what I want and they are there within a day or two and the gutters are clean or the house is washed.

They showed up quickly and did great work. Missed one area my wife noticed. So I called them back and they came right out and cleaned it up. Professional, effecient, priced fair. Will definitely use them again and recommend to others.

Their estimate was reasonable and provided to us in an adequate time period. We personally knew the contractor that we picked so we do not go with this company.

I have had terrible general contractors in the past, overpricing, not showing up on time, not finishing the job. I got a hold of Sean and Leigh, the "Straight Shooters," from a friend of mine in Concord, I guess she had her house painted and they put in new windows for her, but she raved about them, from being trustworthy to how fast the job was done. So, I called them, and I was so impressed with there crew, both Leigh and Sean were on the job the whole time with Jeff, Rich, Zander, and Mike. I will never use another contractor again.
