Project didn't go well. Left with crooked railing and steps. One week into the job he told me about his cash flow problems, and needed money ahead of schedule. Led me on to think he had employees, a few days into the job I realized he hires subcontractors for a limited amount of days (the workers told me this). Workers had daily scheduling problems after he took them off the job to work on another job to "help a friend", things went downhill from there. Promised things at the beginning of the job that were never accomplished. Claimed he was working for "free" and that he's a Christian first. Charged $2000 over the initial agreement. Blew up too many times on the job, sent too many texts and emails rather than just show up to finish, advised me to order hardware/pet door that was the wrong size, said he would cover the paint then I had to buy the paint, asked me to prime the wood before he could paint, had bizarre billing statements (5 people to install a storm door and it was still done wrong). I would not hire again. Paid $19,500 but he claimed he couldn't afford to pay his employees $5/hour. A customer should not have to hear these problems.
Description of Work: Porch repair, 2 landings and steps.
