Arrived on time, very professional, used footies over shoes, answered all question, cleaned up during and after service.

Become as knowledgeable as you can prior to using them as to what as needed to solve the problem because they simply don't do a thorough job!

I thought the estimate was too high.

They were really good. They were professional and did a good job. They gave me a six months to a year warranty on parts. I don't have any complaints.

We asked the technician to tell us if the drain pipes were clogged or not but he refused to do any real investigation saying he had no camera and he wouldn't do any investigation unless we agree to pay $300 for him to use his "cable". In the end he took a $100 visit charge without doing anything at all and left! The worse interaction with a plumber we ever had.

Pros: Great responsiveness...came out the very next day. Showed up at the scheduled time. Very polite receptionist and service provider. Cons: The plumber initially said he couldn't do the job because there was no way to access the drain. I suggested he cut a portion of the PVC pipe and add an access fitting. He agreed that would work. He then spent approximately 20 or 30 minutes to work up 3 estimates...best case, worse case and in the middle...depending on how much time it would take and any potential repairs. Then he left for an hour to get the PVC fitting (their shop is less than a mile from my house). Once the service provider started to actually work, it took maybe an hour or so. $461.00 for an hour or so of labor and a PVC fitting is excessive. Once completed, I asked for an estimate to replace an outside hose faucet that had frozen last winter. He said it would be about $300. That too is excessive. I'm disappointed with the excessive charge. I would have like to use them in the future since it would be supporting a business in the neighborhood...however I won't. I've used Dauenhauer Plumbing in the past and was pleased with them. Will use them next time.

I HAD ROTOR ROUTER COM OUT AQND REMOVE THE ONE AND ONLY TOILET IN THE HOUSE AND HE SAID HE RAN A 100 FOOT SNAKE THRU THE TOLIET DRAIN , BUT IT DIDNT FIX ANYTHING , STILL CLOGGED, HE THEN WANTED 400.00-500.00... HE CHARGED ME 110.00 FOR NOT FIXING IT BECAUSE HE HAD TO REMOVE THE TOILET,I SENT HIM ON HIS WAY. HE SAID IT WAS CLOGGED AT THE STREET... SO I HAD MSD REPLACE THE LINE AT THE STREET WITH A CLEAN OUT AND THEN HAD IT SNAKED FROM THE ROAD TO THE HOUSE,AND THE PLUMBER FROM BOGARTS SEPTIC SAID IT WAS STILL CLOGGED AT THE HOUSE 15 FEET FROM THE TOILET. HE DIDNT HAVE A SMALL MACHINE TO CLEAN IT FROM THE INSIDE AND HE RECOMENDED TO FIND SOMEONE TO TAKE THE TOIET OUT AGAIN AND RESNAKE IT. SO I CALLED DREXLER PLUMBING AND HE CAME OUT AND WE REOMVED THE TOILET AND HE FED 15-20 THRU THE TOIELT AND BAM, CLEANED IT OUT IN 5 MINUTES, 99.0 AND ITS FIXED, SO THANKS TO DREXLER

It was good but the pressure on the water wasn't what I used to have. He was very punctual and professional.

Terry Greenwell came out and gave an estimate before the service was preformed. He did the most thorough estimate of all the plumbers I contacted, and Tom Drexler Plumbing was by far the most responsive. They came out the day I called to do the estimate, and the next day once I decided to accept their quote. On the day of the work, Terry was scheduled to arrive between 11-1, and was here just a few minutes after 11. He was professional, courteous, and friendly. I would definitely use Drexler again, even though they were the most expensive bid, there is something to be said for plumbers who answer your calls and are responsive.

One guy came out and he was a nice guy. He was not able to fix it on his initial visit because he had to order the pump. We called them on a weekend night and they were here like an hour and an half later. They tried to up sell when they were here.

Told them when the appointment was made that I had no water. They said they couldn't come til between 1 and 3 the next day. At 3, I called them and they said they called and to verify the address but nobody answered so they just cancelled the appointment. The then said they couldn't come out til 9 the next mourning. I guess this is their policy and they have the right to run the business however they want but I thought this was ridiculous. There are many reasons why someone might not answer their phone but to just cancel and do nothing is inconsiderate and no way to treat a customer. I will not be calling for their services again.

Gave me an OUTRAGEOUS quote to replace the 2 hot water heater elements. Said it would be a total "rebuild" to replace them. Whatever that means. I asked why it was so much, he said well because it takes a while to drain the water and make sure the tank is air tight. I am no dummy but it sounds like you trying to pull a fast one on me. The bottom of the tank has a faucet and a foot away there is a drain...doesn't seem too hard. I told him I had already looked online how much the elements were and those prices seem crazy! I was not interested after that, I could get a brand new one for $100 more because it was still under warranty! Well guess what??? It is not rocket science to replace the element! ANY home owner can do this! I spent $45 at home depot read the manual, did some research and I now have hot water again. These guys come in and see a girl and think we don't know anything! They think hey we could probably get an extra hundred or more out of her. Tom Drexler is awful I would never use them and will definitely make sure to pass the wore around!

Scheduled appointment to see if water heater needed to be replaced. Supposed to show up between 1 and 3pm, I made sure I was home all afternoon. They called at 4pm to say they couldn't get anyone to me, due to being busy. I didn't reschedule.

Since problem was at the point where my house line entered the sewer main, the sewage company contacted the plumber under contract (not Drexler) to diagnose/finish the job.

Good. Everything issue and repair was addressed to my satisfaction. Will use this company and John Bailor again for my plumbing needs.

I could not have asked for it to go better. My service tech, Chuck Terry, was polite, efficient, and friendly. He knew just what to do and did it in a very timely manner. I couldn't be more pleased with the entire process.

Perfect from beginning to end . Absolutely top of the line as far as quality work and prodrct. Mike Clark and Chad performed the work and will definitely request these 2 for any future jobs . I love my bath !!

We had a water lined freeze up and bust and needed it fixed asap. They were there and ready to start the following day. They worked all weekend to get it fixed. The service and quality of work was outstanding. They had to cut into some plaster walls but made clean cuts, protected my stuff with drop cloths and cleaned up when they were done. The guys were total professionals and clearly experienced experts. I was completely comfortable with the solution provided, which was a long term solution to replace all the old corroded pipes going upstairs rather than a quick fix ? the best thing for my 100+ year old house. I only have two complaints: Price - 2 guys for about 16 hours or 32 hours total. Assuming the supplies cost $1000 (PEX, valves and fittings), that means I paid about $177/hr or more for labor. That seems really high to me. When presented with the proposal, they would not disclose the details such as material cost and labor rate, which should have been an indicator to look elsewhere. Typically contractors are upfront about at least those two things. My other complaint is with the exposed PEX for the toilet supply. I know there are more aesthetic copper or chrome "wall stubs" and I don't know why those weren't used. I plan to follow up on that as the supply lines are still readily accessible. I might use them again, but would definitely get a quote from at least one of the other reputable plumbing contractors in town first.

never called to schedule an appointment. several friends have had good service from them. But I guess I don't live in the right neighborhood.

Since this was my original water line which was installed in 1910, it was in very bad shape - rusty, holey and misshapen. I was told by David they would try a shortcut by which they would pull a new line thru the old line. This cannot be done in every case but he said my house was a candidate. It seemed like a long shot to me but if successful they would not have to dig up the entire front yard, just a 6' hole in the front. This shortcut method worked but it was still a major project. At one point there were three Drexler trucks here at the same time. At one point there was a gigantic tow truck. At one point there was an excavator. They had to remove a section of the sidewalk, drill thru a stone retaining wall, dig 6' hole in front yard in order to locate the water line. Had to have a tow truck to pull the new line thru the old line. The found that the water companie's section of the line near the street was made of lead and was leaking. The water company came and replaced their section. Drexler patched the concrete in front. On the inside they put a brand new shut off valve which was a handle which is easier to use than the old twist handle which was located up in the ceiling and difficult to reach. I was without water for only one day. It was amazing how much they accomplished in just one day. They did come back on the second day to do cleanup and refill the hole in the front yard. It is amazing just how smoothly this went considering how many different people and vehicles were involved. The job was expertly coordinated. David was very knowledgeable and professional. I have always used Tom Drexler and will continue to do so in the future. If you have a major project to do this is the right company. They know what they are doing.

Ryan and Chuck were terrific; they arrived when promised, wore booties, and got right to work. I didn't hear a single complaint about my cellar or my old house in the Highlands. They warned me before they shut off the water, let me know what they were doing, and were generally a joy to have around. Several nifty things happened after those corroded old pipes were replaced: the water in my refrigerator started working again; my kitchen faucet stopped belching air with each use; the water running out of the kitchen faucet increased; and a funny noise coming from the old corroded pipes disappeared! According to my research, Tom Drexler's was more than fair with their pricing--since the biggest part of the cost was the pipe replacement. I will definitely call them the next time I have a plumbing problem, but I bet I'll be "good to go" until I have them come back to fix my goofy old drains. Old houses are such fun!

I was a little disappointed with his work. They tore up the bathroom floor to put new flooring in. The guy went out the front door and just tossed out the small amount of water and grout mixture into my yard, getting some on my porch steps. They also broke my basement floodlight while trying to tilt it for more light, and did not tell me about it. I spoke with the supervisor about it, and the next day the guy apologized and replaced the broken light.

Water had been running through the iron pipes which comprised my old house's main waste system for over one hundred years. When one of the main pipes sprung a damaging leak, Tom Drexler Plumbing replaced the entire waste system--hopefully, this new system will last another 100 years--if not, I'll call Tom Drexler Plumbing again. The crew that came to my house was prompt, respectful of the house, and friendly. Their work was neat and efficient. The entire firm (office and crew) was incredibly responsive and they did the work they promised to do for the price they quoted. I was a bit concerned, I must say, about the length of the guarantee on the work BUT when I started hearing a questionable sound coming from the area that had been replaced and let Drexler's know about the sound, they were very responsive sending a workman as quickly as possible to deal with the problem. It turns out there was no problem; still I was impressed that the company was immediately concerned and caring. Since I had already paid them a year ago, Drexler's could have simply ignored me, but they didn't. Because of their quick response--even though a year had passed since their work was completed--I will definitely use this company again. Tom Drexler's did stand by their work.

Gave me opinion that water heater needed to be replaced that it was old. Gave estimate to replace water heater of $1700.00 .The next day I had someone else come to look and they hit the reset button cleaned the dust around the bottom and It's working fine now.I did inform the first person that the water heater still had two years on the warranty.

The serviceman was punctual and professional. My complaint is with the cost of the service. I needed a garbage disposal replaced as the old one had rusted through. A new disposal was bought by me (like for like) and I called Drexlers to install it. It took the plumber one hour to install the new disposal. He did quote the price before he started, but we went ahead and had it done because this was for my renters and they needed to have use of the sinks. The cost for Drexlers Plumbing to do the work was $372.00. I have a home warranty plan and I am hoping they cover this charge, but I feel it is excessive. My husband did the calculations and taking in to consideration the travel time from their home office, and the one hour worked, it comes out to $160.00 an hour. I called the company the next morning hoping this was a mistake, but they said they charge by the job and that was the rate. Trying to be fair, I then called another plumber and asked him to quote me a price for the same job taking in to consideration that it was a replacement which would take an hour to install. Their price was $202.15. I will never use or recommend this company and would suggest you shop around.
