I checked everything to see how it go? They did a fantastic job even I asked would you mind las checked what was wrong with guest in the shower been dripping and I know it required to have special tools for that as they done that for me so unfortunate can't do because have to cut the walls off! So forget it. Plus they did put the cap lock wher the shower are so it won't leaking anymore! Even free of charged. That's very nice of them! Feeling like we were part of our family! Thank You!
Description of Work: Replaced new hot water heater were suppose to be very good brand called Lochinvar. It's looked beautiful style!

This company did not think my issue was an emergency so I did not use them.
Description of Work: A pipe busted in the night woke up at 1:30 am to a flooded house called to have the pipe immediately repaired so the water restoration company could start the process of drying out my house and demo drywall carpet etc but was told since I could turn the water shut off valve off that it wasn't considered an emergency. I even said I would pay extra because until the pipe was fixed nothing could be done about all the water and trying to save anything I could. I was told that I would have to call back when they opened to see when someone could fix the pipe. I was in total shock that a flooded house was no emergency let it be there house I guarantee it would be an emergency. Needless to say I used another company that did think it was an emergency.

I was told the $99 any drain unclogged did not apply. He said the pipe was over 45ft. to the drain. He said would be minimum of $199, could be few hundred more. It was easily unclogged in no time. They have $35 off any plumbing job on their web-site where I got their info. I was told no on this also. After he left I measured pipe to the drain, less than 30ft. They adv. ANY DRAIN $99 and $35 OFF deals and are LIARS!!!!!!!!!!!!! The idiot emptied his bucket on lawn and killed my grass, could have put it down drain.

I had a tub backup over the holiday weekend at an apartment... a very simple 10 min job. Called Tom Drexler plumbing and described the entire scenario to the dispatcher including the fact that it was a rental.. She sold me on their $99 drain cleanout special 24/7 no service call charge or overtime... great... I was told they would be there at there around 5 PM and would call me when they were on their way. After the time had come and gone... they called and said it would be more like 7PM and I had to reschedule... strike one... The next morning, the technician calls me back from the apartment to tell me it will be $300. I explained what I had been told when I made the original appointment and asked him to wait while I called the office to sort things out. The dispatcher was clueless and there was no one else to talk to. strike two... I called the technician back, confirmed the scope of the work, and was told he had called his boss and since it is a "commercial job... as classified by the State of KY... bla bla bla..."... Sorry friend, the state doesn't set your pricing... strike three... yer out... I declined the service. Even after the bait and switch and absurd "explanation", I would have paid $150 to not have to do drive over there and do it myself... but not $300 for the absolutely most simple plumbing repair possible.... that's ridiculous...

It's been like over 3 years ago. I thought they were way overpriced. What they wanted to charge and what they actually ended up charging were two different things because I got the price down what they initially said. I just remember it was really high to begin with.

Provider did not show or call so I contacted provider and was told that they had to rearrange appointments due to emergencies and was told they MIGHT get to me later in the day but no gaurentee and I could reschedule if I liked. Very disappointed that they chose to not inform me of the changes and left me hanging, I will not recommend them to someone else due to their unprofessional ism. If we had storms or high heat I would understand an emergency but the weather has been in highs of 70s and lows in upper 50s, will not use them again. Dan Cooke

He was on time, neat and wore booties on his feet and was overall a great guy. My issue was the following: I had all the materials and just needed the products to be installed. He handed me a written estimate and in the amount of $1100.00! That's about $550.00 per hour (if I was being generous) for labor only. He said he could maybe work on the price and came back with a second estimate for $900.00. He stated that other plumbers would be charging a comparable amount as his company. Needless to say, I declined. I ended up hiring an independent plumber to come out and install the two items for $200.00 and it only took him about one and a half hours. The initial plumber was polite and professional and I know he was probably just doing his job and quoting the companies rates, however, I found the pricing to be ridiculous, especially since I had everything in place from the wax ring to the bolts that mount toilet, water lines capped off and everything in place and ready for the install.
Description of Work: I hired him to come out and give an estimate on what it would cost to install a sink and toilet.

I had a corroded pipe that required replacement of an elbow. I have done this work myself but did not have a torch to do it now. The technician was courteous but quoted me a price of $505.00 for what should have been a less than 75-100 job. I turned down the estimate. This amount included several " levels of service plans". After refusing service the tech called the office and reduced the fee to $169.00. This did not include the replacement elbow (cost around $2-3 dollars, solder about 2 cents, cooling gel about 10 cents) or replacement of the elbow only attempt to retap the pipe. Never will use again. This would equate to a labor charge of over 495.00 dollars/hour if I had of accepted. Tech could not give me a standard hourly rate that the company uses for labor. Tech was courteous and only was using the company "standard manual" to estimate the job. This is not the first episode that I have had with Drexler. Previously I called them out to unclog a drain. They did this quickly and that as why I called them on above job. There was one interesting issue with the drain unclogging. The ad said any drain cleared for $99.00. When the technician went to clear the drain, he told me if the first pass did not work each additional pass would be another $99.00 dollars. It cleared on one pass but is not I would have been stuck with additional cost. Advertising was not fair.
Description of Work: Appointment to replace a 2 inch elbow on top of a standard copper water pipe. Job would require either a reyap of the threads or a new $2 elbo sweated onto the copper pipe.

He went in the basement and went through a pipe to clean the drain. The way he took the pipe out and resealed it was terrible. I was selling my home and had a home inspector come in and tell me that the work had to be fixed. It ended up costing me an extra 100 to get it fixed.

I recently bought a new home and needed to bring the electrical and plumbing up to code. As such, I called and requested a few quotes from some companies. Tom Drexler was one of them. I liked that this company provided both services, in hopes it would make it for a smoother process. I called and set up two appointments: electrical and plumbing. The electrical appointment was scheduled a few days out from 5-7. The day before the appointment I got a call from them telling me the electrician didn?t work later than 5 and we would need to reschedule for an earlier time slot. I was a bit put off but chalked it up to miscommunication and perhaps a new person. The new time slot was now 3-5 ? because of this I would have to take off work early. The day of the appointment, around 11am, I got a call from someone saying they were the electrician and asking if they could come out now instead of from 3-5. I told him I wasn?t home and wouldn?t be there until around 2 but he could come at 2. He then requested I call the main office and reschedule my time slot when I knew when I would be home?.wait, what? You?re the one that called me asking to come earlier. I told him I didn?t want to confuse the situation and that I would like to just keep the appt. time for 3pm. He said ok and he would still probably be there by 2. The conversation was not professional at all. Fast forward a couple hours and I got home around 1:30 to find this man sitting in my driveway! At this point I was very annoyed. I have dogs and would have liked to have that extra 30 mins to get my dogs out and make sure my home was in order before this man was there. The actual appt. wasn?t bad, but wasn?t great for sure. He had a hard time understanding what I was wanting to do but at the end he got it and gave me an estimate. It was higher than other company?s estimates I received. The next appointment was for plumbing. Again my time slot was 5-7 and on the day of the appt., at 4pm, the main office called to tell me she didn?t have a plumber that could come out. She told me it was hard to guarantee plumbers after 5 because they get stuck on jobs ? not my problem. She told me they would have to reschedule. I was close to cancelling the appt. all together because this is the second time this has happened ? very unprofessional. I went ahead and rescheduled for the following night. On my way home from work I called the main office to verify exactly what time they were expecting the plumber to be over. The lady on the phone was nice ? she contacted the dispatch who contacted the plumber and he said he would be at my home no later than 6pm. At 6:15 the plumber was not there. I called the main office back and spoke to a different girl ? very rude. She refused to contact the plumber to ask where he was and told me the original girl I talked to should have never given me an exact time. After arguing for several minutes about how they have already cancelled on me twice, and explaining I was concerned they would cancel again, I told her to just cancel the appt. and I would take my business elsewhere. During the conversation I also asked for a manager to which she told me there were none there. I hung up the phone. About 10 minutes later I got another call. When I answered it, miraculously there was a manager ready to talk to me?.expect she wasn?t professional either. Her first words to me were, ?So are we sending out a plumber or not?. I said absolutely not and explained everything to her. She picked up where the other girl left off in arguing with me. Eventually I hung up the phone. In summary, this company is not professional, was never on time, cancelled appts, and was higher than the competition. I?m not sure how they could still be in business.

My kitchen plumbing backed up and my kitchen was an absolute mess on Christmas Day. The next day I called Tom Drexler Plumbing and Ryan M came to our rescue. He was incredible. He inspected the problems, talked thru what needed to be done, gave me an estimate for that work and made the necessary repairs. He then recommended additional work that I should have done to fix the problem forever. He explained everything, showed me what he was talking about and then gave me a bid in writing so that I would know how to plan for making the repairs. He was absolutely wonderful. He couldn't have been more polite, professional or helpful in a very stressful situation. Ryan is a definite asset to Tom Drexler and I will request him whenever I have issues. I look forward to having him out again to fix the major work that needs to be done. The expense is not something I look forward to but I know after he has completed all the work I will not have to deal with the problems again. I will never use another plumbing company and hopefully Ryan will always be there when I need help.

Mike and his co-worker were professional, knowledgeable, courteous, and worked hard to finish in a day to get our water back on. He answered all our questions both in person and over the telephone. I highly recommend Michael Hines from Drexler Plumbing, Air and Electric. Total cost $4784.00 after $35 coupon.
Description of Work: An underground water leak discovered after receiving a high water bill showing an increase from 4000 gallons to 10,000 gallons in one billing period. Michael Hines gave us our repair estimate and performed the work with a second plumber to assist. They worked from 8:30 am to about 7:00 pm with only a short lunch break and finished the work in one day. They used a Ditch Witch or trencher to dig a trench in the yard, tunneled under two sidewalks, and cut across a concrete driveway. They put in a new water pipe from the street to the house, connected to the water on both ends and filled in the trenches with gravel and earth. They will pour concrete to repair the driveway.

Started this job to be done on Dec 23rd ,When Hank came out said COULD NOT DO JOB BECAUSE OF BLACK MOLD THAT HAD BUILT UP INSIDE WAll , I will say he gave me a name of someone to take care of and left Reschelduled after talking and taking care of issue that was found . David C came out as I did not want Hank back out as he scared my Granddaughter about if she had small kids they be dead from the black mold ! Which there was not that much that had built up .Again , ,David C came out and instead of fixing issues gave ANOTHER ESTIMATE ! I called Tom Drexler again and talked to Molly and told her that the tech just gave estimate and LEFT I told her that that was not what was suppose to happen,She gave me a 1-3 or 3-5 time frame for the plumber to come back .At 12.00 molly called again saying that the plumber was behind on the job and had to RESCHELDULE AGAIN !!!!! This time afte Christmas . On Dec 26th ANOTHER PLUMBER SHOWED to do this little job of repairing a leak and fixing faucets in the bathroom .My granddaughter called and said that this guy DID NOT HAVE WHAT WAS NEEDED FOR THE JOB ! (I had told Molly on Thursday the faucets were CENTRAL TYPES FAUCETS) She was told that where he got his parts was closed and would cost me 140.00 to have them open the door!! ( This was WAVIED AFTER WIFE TALK TO A MANAGER ) The plumber Ryan did go to the parts place and came back with part . Told me what he was going to do 1.turn main valve to house off . 2 repair 3 turn back on . I said ok that be fine , I had to show him where the meter was and then he came in house to tell me it was full of water and he might have to pump out !! I said fine do what yoiu have to do ! He DID NOT PUMP OUT LIKE HE SHOULD HAVE but did the job ,I told him about a 35.00 coupon that I had for services and also the 10% senior discount that Angie offered He said have to ok with his boss , I did take the discount off of the job . Also this job was only replacing a 3 inch copper pipe and valves in the faucets and the price was estimated at 1058.00 WHICH WAS OUTRAGEOUS AFTER ALL THE HASSLE AND NO SHOWS THAT HAD HAPPENED ON THIS JOB !!!! We will also be contacting other agency about how this was handled and we will not use or recomend them again , I had used before but never again !!!!!

NO RESPONSE TO MY REQUEST FOR SERVICE, WHICH WAS EARLY ON 12-1-15 and I am writing this mid-day 12-2-15. In fact, I already contacted someone else from A.List, who contacted me, we made an appt. for 8:30 today, 12-2-15, he came, and repairs are already completed.

Hank came from Drexler Plumbing a little after 7:30 am after calling first to give us a 20-minute warning. He installed a Delta faucet set and hose supplied by me into a kitchen sink. He was prompt, friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable. The bill came to $215 after a $35 discount (it would have been $250). Excellent work, though a little pricey.

Tom Drexler is fantastic! Every person in the company is very professional and truly takes care of their customers. Mark P. came to my house and I was a little embarrassed asking him to show me where my water shut off valve was. He took the time to explain my different options and what I needed to do in case of a burst pipe. He also did not charge me for the service! He was very professional and friendly. I can really trust Tom Drexler with all of my services and would highly recommend them!

Rich Zdunek did an excellent job reviewing my furnace. I was very impressed with the time he took to explain each aspect of the inspection so I thoroughly understood how everything worked and what items can break down on me. He was incredibly professional, friendly, and trustworthy. I would ask for Rich again if I have any issues with my furnace in the future.

They couldn't give me a price over the phone. Told them I had a coupon and it was still very high. He was only here about 35 minutes. But, very polite and respectful. Another issue I had is my original scheduled day was cancelled due to more urgent job so they came the next day, but at least he was here waiting when I got home from work, so that was good.
Description of Work: Replaced a kitchen faucet with new one that we purchased at local store.

James B. was the service technician who came to my home. He was to arrive between 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. The company's main office called me at 8 and said he was on his way. He arrived about 15 minutes later. He was friendly, professional, thorough, and made recommendations for other services but not in a pushy manner. I am very pleased with the service from Tom Drexler Plumbing, Air, and Electric and will definitely call on them again.
