Dirt N' Turf

I spent $1300 to have some of the larger bushes trimmed in my yard. The owner was very nice, but lower lying plants in my yard were absolutely trampled during this work. I hire this work out every year and have never had this happen before. Significant damage was done. Two hardwood bushes that were lower to the ground were so broken from being stepped on that I just had to cut them out completely. Many of my herbaceous perennials were trampled to the ground in large areas and killed as well. I'm the president of the local master gardening association, and would not recommend this contractor. I also spent more than an hour of my own time taking up remains and debris they left behind. When I messaged the owner he apologized for the piles of remaining cut debris, but on the trampled plants said they had to make paths. One guy would be cutting while 3-4 others would stand around and watch and they couldn't pass the branches over the top of existing plants? Unacceptable.

The owner did a great job of scheduling a time to come by and give a quote. When he knew he would be a little late for the scheduled time he texted me to let me know which was nice considering I've had a lot of people just never show. He gave me a quick quote that day of $450 to mulch and edge all my front flower beds (of which I have a lot), which was about $130 less than the other company I got a quote from. I texted him to confirm and was surprised he could get to me the next Monday. Since I still needed to plant some flowers I asked of Wed would work as well and said I would text him when we were for sure ready. I texted in Tues morning that I was done planting and he actually came out that afternoon with him team to get it done. They even mulched more area than I expected but still only charged the $450. Very happy with their service and I will be calling them again when I need my back yard mulched.

The work was performed professionally with good attention to detail. The work gave good value for the cost.

I have used him twice now, once to take down some shrubs and trim trees. Then they came out and mulched, preened and fertilized. Arrived on time and cleaned up and hauled off any yard waste.

I had major water drainage issue the length of my yard from the front to the back. Jason was quick to respond to my quote request and showed up the very next day, Sunday. He was easy to work with answering all of my questions. Waiting for the scheduled work to be done I called for a minor change to the project, Jason had no issues with the request and said no problem. I had a 150' French drain installed tying in 2 down spouts.
