Quantrell Subaru

They are very good about doing work that is needed and don't try to take advantage of you. They are honest and trustworthy. I will continue to use them.

They're pretty good in the service department. I wouldn't buy a car from them again. The sales people are terrible. They're the only one in the area, so if I had to get a car local I would use them again.

3-day wait for an appointment. Called when they found the noise (chatter) and recommended pulley and belt replacement. Also found 2 cracked boots in the inspection. I OK'd both repairs over the phone. Car ready when promised, although pretty expensive - the shop rate is $92/hour. When I got in the car, it smelled bad, like B.O. - they must have noticed it too because the windows were all down in the 40-degree weather. Didn't think much of it. Got home and my friend pointed out that I still had 2 lights out - brake light and front amber light. They had been burned out prior to the repair visit, and I had forgotten to mention this since I was sure this would be caught in the detailed inspection. Checked the Subaru checklist they had provided me as part of the inspection - and quot;Lightsand quot; was checked as OK. Got back in the car later that night and noticed the smell again - yuck! Called Quantrell the next morning to complain, and the service manager apologized and thanked me for calling, but made no effort to and quot;make it right.and quot; He didn't offer to replace the light bulbs, he didn't offer any sort of bill relief for my inconvenience. I checked the website, and noticed they had a coupon special for $ off on your repair bill - he had never mentioned that either. This is the second time the car has had service problems at Quantrell. Earlier this year, I got the car back and the check engine light came on while I was driving away, and the odometer light was burned out even though it had been working fine prior to my visit. I understand mistakes. We're all human. But, they should have tried to make it right. I paid top dollar for official dealer service. I did not get my money's worth.
