Comfort Heating & Air

The owner, Mike Buckley, came to my house, looked over the job, took pictures and went over the options with me. Very thorough. Was very responsive to my follow up questions and because of the thoroughness in regards to what would be done and a competitive, though not the least expensive, price we chose them to do the job.

Last year they installed a new 3 ton furnace for me. It had a one year warranty on labor, and a 3 year warranty on the unit itself. It has never worked properly, and I have had to call and call them to keep having them come out to look at it. They kept telling me that nothing was wrong with it. After the one year labor warranty was up, and I was still continuing to have problems with it, I called another company to come out and look at it. Right away, they told me that for the size of house I had, I only needed a 2 ton furnace, and that it was only hooked up through 10 amps, and it required 15. They knew immediately what was wrong, and why it was not working right. I called Comfort Heating again to tell them this, and they said they would call me back, but never did. They are being completely unresponsive to me at this point. I have continued calling them with no response. I have filed a complaint with Wells Fargo, who financed the unit for me as well.

Called ahead and arrived when they said they would. Repairman was courteous and explained the type of repair that was needed. Fixed broken ignitor. No problems or concerns.

Great service, my heat pump unit died a few days ago, I started quoting replacements for it, and came to know about comfort heating and air, and really I am glad I decided to go with them, they are extremely professional, friendly and very customer satisfaction oriented, the owner himself went to my house to explain to me the different options I had, when it came to replace the unit, they arrived on time, were respectful, courteous and friendly, their price was very competitive as well, I would recommend them for any kind of hvac work in your house

I was extremely impressed by the professionalism of the owner, Mike Buckley and all of his crew. Mike did the quote and spent a lot of time going over the options of regular HVAC and geothermal. By the time my wife and I were ready to contract the job, we both felt well informed. The company was very courteous and timely. I couldn't be more pleased with the project. Not only did they do a great job but they were very competitive in pricing with the other geothermal bids. We definately picked the right company.

I've had great advice and really good luck with them. They are very conscientious. They get an A+, they're phenomenal. They're a little expensive, but it's worth it. I've never worked with an HVAC company that has such good employees. I will definitely use them in the future.

Mike Buckley, the owner, came out for the initial estimate. He provided a competitive estimate on the spot. The estimate was actually less than the (2) other service providers that came out. My specific situation was different because I was dealing with an insurance claim and a warranty claim with the manufacturer due to a lightning strike. During the process Mike provided his expertise and support to help expedite the process. Once I selected Mike to do the work, he got me scheduled within a week and his guys came out to install the the mini split. The installers were courteous, professional, and efficient. They answered all of my questions without hesitation. I was extremely impressed with some of the small but important details that were addressed during the install such as installing the outdoor mini split on risers and using flexible condensate lines (details the previous installer failed to perform). All in all, extremely satisfied with the performance of the unit and install and will definitely use Comfort Heating and air in the future.

It went great. very professional and they took the time to explain what the issue was. A little pricey for the work performed. Another place quoted me 49.00 to come check it out but I chose Comfort because of the reviews. They didn't give me my 25.00 discount for being an Angie's List member either and we did mention it when we made the appointment. All around great service though.

Mike Buckley, owner, responded to our email for a quote the same day we inquired, even though it was a weekend. He scheduled an in-home estimate promptly, showed up on time, and even covered his shoes upon entering our house. He spent 2.5 hours with us discussing our options and working up an on-the-spot quote for various configurations to meet our needs. He was very professional and well-prepared, with computer and sophisticated software in tow. We had further questions, which he answered promptly, as well. He sent us the warranty information on all systems we were considering and disclosed rebate information. We got four other estimates and chose Comfortman over the others because of Mike's professionalism, quick response, and enthusiasm to get the job done quickly. We liked some of the others who gave us estimates, but they were not prepared to move as quickly as Mike and his crew. Given it is mid-November (and snowing today) we were ready to move forward. Comfort is a good sized, well established company with a big staff and they could move quickly and get it done for us. The workmen were great and completed the job in about 5.5 hours. They had to configure the unit a bit to meet our space, and did it efficiently. Their work looks great, and all is cleaned up nicely. We like this company because of their professionalism, ability to serve quickly, and we liked the equipment choices they gave us. We can highly recommend this company.

The owner and other professionals were fantastic! I am glad I chose The Comfort Man and would hire them again.

Mr Buckley came out and gave the estimate. He was professional and presented the company very well. The workman came out and installed the unit and did an excellent job. The building inspector came out to inspect the work and he commented that they did a very good job.

Justin was on call and he responded promptly and was very knowledgeable and helpful. The only complaint I have is I think the air handler should have a sensor in it that cuts the unit off when the filter is clogged, before it causes water to build up inside and damage the circuits.

We noticed a leak around our HVAC unit on a Sunday and I called first thing Monday morning at 8:15. The lady I spoke to was very friendly and had a tech at our house within an hour. The tech looked over our unit and determined the problem was just a clogged pipe and cleaned it out for us. The tech was only there about half an hour and the service charge seemed high to me, given what work was performed and how long he was there.

We had a good experience with Comfort Heating & Air and the installation of our Trane air conditioning unit until we found out it had a manufacturer's defect and was going to need part replacement because of two parts rubbing together. I was initially unhappy with the way the replacement was being handled. I was working with the office to work through my issues and even as I was trying to resolve these issues, Comfort remained professional and sent two very experienced service men out to make the repairs. The owner later called me to discuss the rest of my issues. He was kind and understood my concerns going above and beyond to resolve them. I would definitely recommend this business and would use them again myself.

Owner did in fact follow up with me (prior to my posting being visible on Angie's list) and did refund the service charge for the call and apologized for our experience. I believe now this may have been an isolated incident.

Called to have my outside unit and furnace maintenance completed. They were very friendly and professional on the phone when scheduling my appointment for the next afternoon. On the day of the appointment I received a call stating they had a cancellation and could come that morning, which was very nice. The tech arrived about an hour later and was professional. He did a thorough inspection of the units, cleaned them and explained everything to me as he went. A great experience with Comfort Air!

I really cannot say enough about Mike Buckley and his team of professionals. From the moment I began interacting with the Comfort Heating and Air team, I was pleasantly surprised and sometimes blown away by the professionalism, knowledge, timeliness, and price for the system. Mr. Buckley was incredibly responsive, oftentimes responding to my email queries within minutes. Admittedly, at one point, I was considering another provider as they'd given me an initially better price on what I thought was a higher-quality system. Mr. Buckley asked for an opportunity to see if he could come close and actually beat the other providers price and still enabled me to get the Trane system I was looking for. The installation team was at my home, on time, completed on schedule, and the entire system is purring like a kitten. In fact, it's so "technologically sexy" that I find myself visiting my storage room just to see and barely hear the new air handler. The only complaint I could possibly come up with is (as I told Mr. Buckley), this experience has virtually ruined me for all other service providers in the future as no one could possibly come close to the level of care, concern, respect, competency, and all out goodness that I experienced with Comfort Heating and Air. THESE GUYS SERIOUSLY ROCK!!!

We have good experience. My husband talked to the owner personally about something that came out. They were very responsive to our questions and very helpful. They came when they are supposed to and cleaned up everything that was left behind. They did a great job. We still have some more work that we have to do with them and we will.

I’m out of state; Greg went to the house after midnight, identified the problem and fixed it. The bill was reasonable. He called me back to let me know everything that was going on, I was very pleased.

We returned home after being away for a few days and it was 36 degrees F inside the house. We worked two phones trying to get a heating & air company to come ASAP and we were unable to get anyone to come to the house that day and worse the one's we called would not give us a name of a competitor who might be able to help us out. Finally, we called Comfort Heating & Air who dispatched a technician and he promptly diagnosed the problem(s) with the unit and gave us our options. He was unable to get heat to us that day, but returned the next day and installed a new furnace and had us toasty by mid afternoon. These guys were real professionals: efficient and cleaned up their mess. We could not be more pleased and we think they gave us a fair price. We highly recommend them and we will have them return when the A/C eventually goes out (30 yr old unit, like the furnace).
