Comfort Heating & Air

Most excellent. Mike (owner), personally came to my crib to give me an estimate. He took pictures, then walked me through my options. I actually wanted to go more efficient than he was recommending (let's future proof the house). I did my homework and got 4 quotes. Comfort Heating and Air wasn't the least expensive quote, but it was far from the most expensive. I told Mike where I was with the quotes and he said he would meet the quote I thought was the best efficient bang for the buck. As the equipment distributor is just down the street from Comfort's office (headquarters), they could get started in 2 days (stuff on hand in town is a welcome advantage). Day before the scheduled install, Mike called and said he could get me a more efficient furnace to maximize my tax credits - if I could wait 2 days. Uh, yeah! 2 days later, Chris Jackson, Leman Grubb and Adam Berry showed up to do their thing. Hard working, nice young men. They wore shoe covers when they needed to get indoors and were very friendly and professional. When they rolled, you wouldn't have known they were here (except for the newly installed equipment!). I really like having great experiences and they delivered. Extremely highly recommended!

Great service. I requested an appointment for after 2:00 PM and was called just after that time to let me know he was on the way. Was polite and did the most comprehensive inspection I have ever received on both the AC units. I was very satisfied with the work he did and will surely use this company and Steve again. This was a regular scheduled tune up.

The whole process from initial contact to completion of the replacement of my entire Heating and Cooling system went very well. There customer service representatives are very nice and helpful and their technical teams who provide the installations are very skilled and professional. Nick and Quang were the 2 gentleman who replaced my systems. They were on time per the schedule requested and agreed to. In fact they arrived early. They did a thorough job which included cleaning up any of the dust and dirt created during the installation. Nick provided very clear instructions on how the new system will work as well as demonstrating the new thermostat he installed. I have been very satisfied and impressed with this company and their teams. I feel confident that if there are any subsequent issues it will be addressed quickly. I also feel comfortable in knowing they will be back in the fall/winter to insure the Heating part works as it should when the time comes. Note: As I am currently renting this house it was my landlords who initially engaged this company. I used to have another one. I am happy they made this change.

The repair was not made. He cleaned the coils inside and out and replaced freon and charged $839 for 2 1/2 hrs work. Fan, which was what I told him in original call wasn't moving still wasn't moving. So he came back out later that day and told me motor would have to be replaced by only a Trane motor which couldn't be ordered until Tuesday July 5th. I asked if he had fans or ac's we could rent but he said no. The company knew my mother lived here, was 92 yrs old, and would end up in the hospital, where she has now been for several days but they obviously don't care. I made one call to another company and they saw the motor wasn't a Trane, got a replacement locally, and had us up and running and cool within 8 hrs. of making the call. Thankfully, the doctor just gave us a positive prognosis on Mom this morning. But it will be some time before she'll be home because I put my trust in someone I shouldn't have.

We spoke to four different vendors about the best approach to our unique problem. Two of the vendors did a great job explaining all of our options. We chose Comfort Heating and Air. Owner Mike Buckley did a very good job answering questions and even responded positively to issues raised by another vendor who had some good suggestions. I decided to wait at least 6 weeks to complete my review to make sure that the unit was working well in the hot days of June. It has been doing a very good job. The installation crew, Sergey and Leo, did a great job. Some of the equipment delivered was not correct and they waited patiently for the right parts to arrive. They were both great problem solvers when issues surfaced in the installation. They worked very hard and cleaned up the work site. We have a service contract with this company and hope that the same great service continues.

I was able to contact and get an appointment set up quickly. Because of the season we had to wait 3 or 4 days for a tech to arrive. The day of our appointment the tech arrived several hours after planned time but I can understand as there will be a ton of calls at that time of the season when everyone is firing up their ACs. Tech was able to diagnose and repair very quickly. He even came inside to check an issue on the heat exchange and put on little booties to protect the floor! Overall I was very happy with the service. Price was a little high for a capacitor but I didn't know what was wrong and I was happy to find out it was only a capacitor. CJ was highly recommended and I can see why. Very professional and courteous.

The service technician arrived when expected. He was very professional. Check the Heat Pump and diagnosed the problem. Gave me a quote, and the whole time he was writing up the quote keep saying, "my boss isn't going to like this, it's way too cheap". He said that several times. I did not have the repair done. I paid for the service call. I contacted another company and they diagnosed the same problem, but the quote was half the cost.

J.R. is great. Kind, considerate, professional and knows what he' s doing. I trust Comfort Heating to service and/or replace any of my heating/air systems.

Nick and Quang were very efficient and professional. The Installation Manager, Ryan even stopped by during installation. I would certainly hire Comfort Heating & Air again.

Five Stars!!! I just wanted to say thank you to the Staff at Comfort Heating and Air Conditioning. Everyone that I have spoken to and who has come into my home has been wonderful to deal. Our furnace stopped working Tuesday night. I called and spoke to Kim first thing Wednesday morning and within an hour JR was at my house. He immediately diagnosed the problem, showed me what the problem was and presented me with my options. I chose to have a new unit installed. JR scheduled the install for first thing the next morning and even helped me fix my gas fireplace before he left so we would have heat in the living room until the install. Kim called twice to confirm the time and was extremely pleasant both times. She even answered my questions in regards to rebates from Columbia Gas and directed me to their web-site. The next morning Nick and Quang showed up on time and went straight to work. They were both very pleasant and mindful of our home and did and excellent job. Within just a few hours they had the old unit out the new unit in and the heat back on. Before they left they showed me how to use my new programmable thermostat which was extremely helpful as it is the first one we have ever had and they provided me the number for the Division of Building Inspection in Lexington so I could schedule an inspection and get my green sticker from the city. And I honestly believe before they were out of my driveway Jennifer had e-mailed my receipt to me. I had a few questions for Jennifer as well which she promptly responded to. So a great big THANK YOU to KIM, JR, NICK, QUANG and JENNIFER!!!! Everyone of you made a bad experience as pleasant as humanly possible!!!!

Can't say enough good things about this company. Top notch. I worked with Mr. Jake Grubbins and his team. They took excellent care of us. Their customer support are on top of it. Such a pleasure to work with a company that is genuinely invested in their clients needs and are extremely professional.

My husband, Richard (a local commercial architect), and I, are renovating a modern iconic home in Lexington, and hired Comfort H&A for a geothermal installation. We have been very pleased and grateful for Mike, and his staff, throughout the entire process; including ongoing "tweaking" visits to help us attain the maximum performance, and energy/financial savings, from our new system. Service was great! They called as they were headed to the home and let me know when they would arrive. Arrived on time and provided excelled service. Technician was very helpful and was able to find and resolve two issues with my furnace that I was unaware of. Technician was also friendly and had no problem with me asking questions as he worked. I will be going with them for their regular maintenance services from now on. Thank you!

The owner of Comfort Heating and Air came to my house and presented me with all the options on AC & Heating units. He walked me through the process of what they would do, but employees Sergay and Adam, who completed the work on my house are two knowledgeable employees who did a fantastic job and I would highly recommend them to anyone

This was down in one day. The employees were friendly, courteous and left the house and yard spotless. They were available to answer questions would highly recommend this company. Great Job.

The home is tenant occupied and I conducted the transaction via phone and email. The 3 ton system was replaced back in December of 2014. No issues. The tenant advised they came and replaced the Goodman units with Trane as agreed upon. The 2.5 ton system began to fail and it also needed to be replaced. I did have a bit of an issue with the quote and some issues with scheduling but was able to hammer those out with their staff.

Ryan came to the house and inspected the AC unit which was not working. He explained the situation, gave me an estimate for the work, asked for permission to proceed and then did the work, exactly as he said. He took the time to explain and answer questions, even though it was after 5:00 PM.

Arrived on schedule. Very courteous. Cleaned up and hauled away old system. Did not stand around wasting time. Explanations were very clear. We will call them annually for inspections of our three units. The new unit is very efficient. We have been pleasantly surprised.

Same day service. Very knowledgable. Highly Recommend.

In April they replaced the defrost control boards and sensors on both of our ac units. A few days later both units stopped working again. They came and reset the systems the next day and both units started working again. Now that it is June the unit for the upstairs stopped working. I called them in the afternoon and they told me a technician could be at my house that evening. I waited five hours with several phone calls during that time. The technician finally calls and tells me he can not come because he never received any notification that we were having a problem but that we would receive a call in the morning to set up a time . It was 10 pm at this point and no other company could come. MInd you it is the middle of June and we are having 90 degree days. The next day I never received a call in the morning to set up a time. The technician calls me at 3pm and tells me he is coming over to look at the unit. At this point I had already set up an appointment with another company who promptly came and fixed our problem. The owner of the company has reached out to me since then and the issue has been resolved.

I don't know if it will last or if I have to replace the system. I was very pleased with the technician and his work. It took about a week and a half to get them here.

It went wonderfully. This company is an A+ in my book. Jake Gribbins (the representative that came to give us a quote) was the best. He answered all my questions and was able to sell me on purchasing from Comfort Heating & Air that day. Sergey Nesenchulk, Adam Berry, and Quam were the installers and they were here all day and made sure everything was up to par. Everyone I have had contact with was an absolute joy to work with. I have found my heating and cooling company. More companies need employees like these four guys. I sure hope that they are there for many years to come because they are the most professional and personable people I have met from a company.

The process went well throughout. I originally contacted Comfort last fall while getting estimates from several service companies. I worked with J.R. Disponett to review the project and understand the systems they sell. We went back and forth a few times while I asked questions and explored options. I had to postpone the project until this spring, but when I called, things picked up just as we left off. Their pricing was good (and didn't change after 6 months) and the 10 year no-hassle warranty was very appealing. The installers, Kevin & Jonathan were on the job by 9:00 am and worked through until it was done mid-afternoon. they were polite, professional and very conscientious. The old unit was a bear to get out, and I'm sure it was a challenge to get the new one in. There were a few supply and return improvements done as well that had them in and out of the house several times. They did a great job and left everything neat and tidy. They tolerated my obnoxious dog very well too. The new system works great and is clearly better than the old. I will be happy to recommend Comfort to friends and family.

I had another system installed by a company when i first bought my house. They started the process in June of 2014 and by February of 2015 they was still working on the process. Finally, I had enough and demanded a refund from that company. I sent a request in on 2/23/2015 for someone to contact me from Comfort Heating and Air via the website and within an hour, the owner of the company called and discussed my current system and what they had to offer. He scheduled a meeting to view my home on 2/25/2015 at 5:00 PM. He called about 20 minute before arriving to let me know he was on his way. He reviewed my system and discussed the different options with my roommate and I. He schedule a tech to come out on 2/27/2015 and check the duct work in the system. The tech came out and reviewed the system, explained some problems I had with my duct work and how they could correct them. On 3/3/2015 the installers installed the system and it is running great! Thank you for the great service!
