Phillips Waterproofing and Concrete

Aggregate work looks nice from a distance, but framing was not professional; curves in walk are not smooth, irregular seams in steps look terrible, chunks are missing from concrete. Contractor was called 3 times, kept saying he'd come back to fix probs, but never showed. Left copious cigarette butts and soft drink cans in grass, left a huge pile of concrete slag in neighbor's shrubs, left a 6 foot puddle of concrete slag in middle of yard (1 inch thick ). Our contract stated that we would pay him when the work was finished, but that was a mistake because we could not inspect the work for 2 days due to being wet cement. We waited two months for him to come back and finally had to patch the mistakes ourselves, because it was going to be too cold to put on the sealer if we waited any longer. VERY disappointed to have spent so many thousands of dollars for a job that doesn't look professional. And it's permanent! I really thought this guy would return to make things right.

Work crew considerate and hard workers. I would have liked a bit more clean-up. Note: Use a can for your many cig butts; some people would really have a problem with that. They kept me informed the whole way thru.

When the owner was directly involved with the work, it was perfect. However, when his helpers were left to do a job on their own it was not as good of workmanship. Also, they have not returned to finish touch up work (repairs of chips in the driveway). Overall their job was good and they were easy to work with.

Work was completed to my satisfaction

Showed up on time and did good work. Crew was hard working and considerate.
