Description of Work: Replaced a part on the outside w/o unit. We have used Thompson Heating and Cooling for several years. The work has always been done quickly and professionally. The technicians answer any and all questions explaining the problem and the fix.

Description of Work: Had several leaks in our house in Louisville, Kentucky and we were trying to sell it to move to Florida and they got all of the pipes fixed in a timely manner. The plumbers were all very professional. I have used Thompson's many times over the years.

Description of Work: Successfully repaired a water leak in the furnace. Very satisfied with this company as we have used them in the past as well and have always been pleased with their work and cost.

Description of Work: They came back and checked the HVAC system. They did a cleaning and update. They cleaned the outside AC coils and checked the freon and unit. They made sure the inside was working correctly.

Description of Work: They came out quickly to give a free estimate. The price was fair and better than the other company that bid the work. They came out as scheduled and did the job quickly and as expected.

Description of Work: They do a seasonal maintenance on our furnace and air conditioner.

Description of Work: Installed new heating/cooling system. There were some issues with the installation which they promptly corrected and an extremely competent technician has carefully checked everything since then.

Description of Work: They came and fixed the motor to our furnace and replaced freon in the air conditioning unit. The time spent here was efficient, and they were able to complete the repair without scheduling any additional time or days.

Description of Work: We were having problems with our ac unit when we turned it on for the first time this season. We called Thompson's and the technician was able to work us in that day. It wasn't the compressor, but another essential part of the unit (my husband deals with that). The technician showed my husband what the problem was and was able to replace the part with no problems. He also cleaned and checked the unit for any additional problems and gave my husband advice on how to better protect the unit from debris and some simple cleaning tips. We were very pleased with not only the work, but the advice on how to better maintain the unit for a longer life span.

Description of Work: Most recently, Thompson Heating/Cooling performed annual preventative maintenance on two of our heating units and replaced a blower motor on the older unit. We have used them multiple times including for instlalation of heating/cooling in new construction. Highly highly recommend them on every level!

Description of Work: Just guessing on the date again. They performed a service but it didn't solve the problem. I had to go to another heating company to get the problem completely fixed.

Description of Work: Have used this company for last three years to service my units. Never had a problem until seven months ago when I tried for three months to get a return phone call from the service tech and then the owner with no response. Then approximately two weeks ago my two split units stopped working. Called and asked for the tech that normally services the units to come which meant I had to wait a week without having heat. The day arrived and a new tech was sent due to the other still being on another job. Then, the new tech took apart my heat pump and told me I needed another one. Said he would call with estimate to repair and haven't seen or heard from anyone since!! Now I have been without heat for three weeks. Now if I have the unit repaired, I will have to pay someone extra to put the unit back together. Never seen anything like this. Obviously, won't use them again!

Description of Work: Kevin and his crew did a great job. they were professionals, trustworthy and respectful of our home. undertook a large project with adding attic furnace and replacing another...did a great job! we are hard customer to please but highly recommend Thompson Heating and Cooling to others.

Description of Work: The technican made two visits to repair an air conditioner in my condo. They had to order a part, which took about 2 weeks to come in. The technican returned on the second visit and repair everything to my satisfaction and checked the out units also. Very pleasant experience.
